Brian Reno & Tyler Craig are seen entering the arena. The fans cheer on as duo continue on, knowing that tonight they had a huge match against the XWA Tag Team champions, The Burns Brothers. As they walk towards the locker room, Joe Beakman catches up to them for a quick interview.
Tonight, you guys go up against the Tag Team Champs The Burns Brothers. I'm betting you're feeling pretty confident having already beat them last week in that 6 man Tag match with Adam Devlin.
Confident? Naaaaaaaaaaaah. Last week was just a precursor. A small taste. Those two have been runnin' around form months talking about how they're the best tag team in the world. And while yes...they beat The Mobstaz, and yes...they beat The Bruzas, they haven't faced us yet. And they haven't beat us yet.
It all boils down to this, Joe. If they wanna make the claim of being the best, they have to beat the best. And as far as things go, they haven't yet. I pinned Ray Burns dead center of the ring last week. So as it stands, their claim is a false one. But they get the chance to try...key word: "try" to make up for it tonight. You can talk all you want in this business about being the best. But it all comes down to execution, especially in Tag Team wrestling. And in that department, we're the best hands down.
