The timekeeper rang the bell, and to the chagrin of everyone in the arena, Devin Damian was the man who's hand was raised in victory, after finishing MG in a very familiar and unpopular way.
Matt: God, that kick is just sickening! That's the same punt that caused a concussion to Kayn. The reason why he's been out for months!
Buzz: MG wanted this match, he got his match...and now it looks as if he's going to get even more!
In almost a repeat of earlier, Damian whistled to the backstage area, and some on his cronies once again decided to storm the ring. This time their target was MG, and they proceeded to put the boots to the man while he was still down. Devin grinned from ear to ear as he looked on, then snaked in to deliver a message to his fallen opponent...
This is what happens MG, when you bite off more than you can chew.
Damian saw this as an opportunity now to send a clear message to everyone at MG's expense. As the man still groggy from the first kick, Devin coiled up in the corner of the ring, setting himself up to strike again with another shot that would undoubtedly put MG for a very long time.
Matt: No, don't tell me he's going to try this again! Someone needs to get in there and put a stop to this!
Before he could dash in for the final blow, a roar of cheers from the crowd indicated that just perhaps, some was going to do just that.

As he steps out from backstage, the roar of the crowd shakes the Smith Center to it's moorings.
Buzz: ETHAN BAIN!!! It's Ethan Bain!!! What's he doing on Takedown!!!
Matt: The Texas Bull is storming the ring!!!
Bain charges down the ramp like a run away train. Devin Damien and his underlings scatter to the wind like leaves as he hits the ring with full force.
Matt: They want no part of that giant. And who can blame them? But why has Ethan Bain come to Takedown to save MG of all people?
Bain grabs a mic from ringside, and admonishes Damien and his group.
I know what you're all thinkin'. "Why's Bain on Takedown?" "Why's he savin' MG's ass?" Well I'll tell ya'. MG's got an ass kickin' comin' to him the likes of he ain't never had in his pathetic lil' life. And I cant very well have a bunch of cluckin' Hens like you XCW chumps doin' my work for me. This piece of Newark Trash belongs to me. Besides, Damien...you have bigger problems then the loud mouth here to worry about.

MG gets up and looks at Ethan Bain with a questioning look like "WTF yo who this guy think he is" MG rolls out of the ring while Ethan was talking to Damian. He grabs a chair from the bell man and rolls in the ring. Right after Ethan finishes talking MG smacks him with the chair repeatedly until Ethan falls to his stomach. He puts his foot over his neck and looks to Devin with a smile.
Buzz: What? After he done helped him he turns on him.
Goldman: Well MG said nobody interferes.
MG watches Devin in confusion running away backstage. MG picks up the mic on the floor Ethan dropped and bows over to make Ethan hear even more.
T........ N........ N!!! B****!!!!

As all of that is happening, Damian slowly backs up the ramp. He might not have been able to finish off MG, but the ensuing in-fighting with a man who just saved him was satisfying enough. He has no mic, but you can hear his voice as the camera follows him close.
I wouldn't be too worried about me. I came, saw and conquered. I do everything I say I'm going to do! You boys play nice now!
He smirks, and as he continues to backpedal, suddenly the crowd roars. This had to be the biggest pop in the history of the XWA in fact.
Matt: OH...MY...GOD!!! It can't be. Is it?

*During the melee that was happening in the ring, a figure that has not been seen for quite some time walked out from the backstage area and stood at the top of the ramp. The character was none other than the "Death Metal Goliath". As the crowd exploded Devin continued to walk up the ramp, unknowing that Kayn stood a mere few feet from him.*
Matt: Oh my. Buzz, Kayn is back!
Buzz: And Damian has no clue. Oh boy, this is gonna be good.
*Kayn, sporting a fully grown beard, stood with his arms crossed waiting for the man that took 5 months of his career away from him. The closer Devin got, the crazier the crowd went. They knew that once Devin reached Kayn it would retribution, not only for Kayn but for all the XWA. Eventually Devin walked back and bumped into Kayn, as he turned.....*

Meanwhile back in the ring...
As MG bows over Bain on the floor, he swiftly raises his arm up, and wraps his catcher's mit size hand around MG's neck.
Buzz: We're gonna witness TWO homicides here tonight!!!
Bain sits up with pure red in his eyes. He rises to his knees, then to his feet, all the while his hand still wrapped around MG's neck. In one fell swoop, Bain throws MG's arm over his shoulder, lifts him high into the air, and throws him to the mat with the damndest Chokeslam anyone's ever seen. MG's body literally bounces off the ring from the impact. The crowd goes insane as "The Texas Bull" polishes his horns. He takes a few steps back, allowing MG to collect his barrings and rise to his feet.
Goldman: Uh oh. I think we know what happens next.
Buzz: MG won't see it coming, but you damn well know he's going to feel it!!!
Bain charges at MG just as he turns around, stunned and staggered, and practically rips his head from his shoulders with his signature Texas Lariat. MG does a full backflip from the impact, landing face 1st on the mat. As the fans roar at what they'd just seen, Bain spits on the floor next to MG and shouts obscenities off mic that were best not heard by the TV audience.

Damian bumps right into Kayn back first and pauses for a few moments before he turns around. He could totally read from the crowd's reactions now that whoever was behind him was someone he probably didn't want to deal with.
Then he turns around and you can see the pure shock and amazement in his eyes when sees a man who he thought would never have came back to wrestling. Devin's eyes bulge out of his head literally as Kayn stands there, and he backpedals now the other way.
How? How are you still standing? I took you out...I took you out!!!
Those were the words coming out of his mouth as he retreated. You could see confusion on his face as he leaped over the barricade, escaping into the crowd. The fans booed like maniacs, wanting to see Kayn get his long-awaited payback on Damian, but Devin didn't give them...or him...that satisfaction at that moment.
Matt: Look at the man run! Damian's cutting out into the crowd instead of taking his punishment like a man!
Buzz: And look on the face of Kayn! He's got this look as if to say that there's no place for Devin Damian to hide, no matter where he runs!
He looked back one time, then another as he made a discreet withdrawal from the scene, his hands running through his hair in a dazed, confused frustration.

*Kayn stood, watching Damian make his way through the crowd, never once breaking his gaze. While the crowd booed Damian, Kayn just watched from the stage. Finally Damian disappeared from the view of the Combatant Xtraordinaire, who continued to stare in the direction of where "The Pure One" made his escape.*
Matt: That's a look of determination partner, and I do not envy Devin Damian in the slightest bit.
Buzz: I never thought I would say this, but when those two meet in the ring, I'm going to be cheering for Kayn.
*Kayn stood for another few moments before looking out to the crowd and raising his arms and pointing out to them. While he did this "Hammer Smashed Face" played over the PA system, prompting the fans to explode, showing that Kayn was back and he was looking for some revenge.*
