Takedown returns from a break towards the middle of the 3 hour Supershow, and the familiar sound of Bull Nagano's menacing entrance theme fills the arena.

Goldman: Here comes the reigning XWA Onyx Champion Bull Nagano, joined of course by her partner, handler and translator Ina Morifuji. United they hold two out of the four titles of the Diamond Division, and at Soul Survivor I think Bull silenced a lot of critics in her defense against Marisol Cardinale.

Buzz: The only people who would call themselves critics are the people who still choose to drink that ol' haterade. That woman is the most dominant female in wrestling, hands down. Is she beatable? Yes. Mari proved that. But Nagano proved that just beating her isn't enough.

At this time, the two women now stood in the ring. A mic was supplied to Ina, and as the fans continue to boo, she speaks.

Marisol Cardinale found out the same, very hard lesson that Liberty Lang found out. And that is that there's a difference between facing Nagano-San, and facing her in a title match. For when the title, Her title, is on the line...she turns it up a notch that very few women in this sport can match. It was once said that in order to be a champion, you must defend your title. She has done it twice now, yet she still does not have the respect of the wrestling world. And why is that? I'll tell you why. Because you Americans are spoiled, decadent infidels who know nothing of what a true competitor is. Nagano-San doesn't fit the mold of all of the "typical" Diamonds. And it is because of this fact that you all choose to despise her.

Goldman: No, I think they choose to despise her because the both of you are always bashing on America. Just a hunch.

It is for this reason that this time around, Nagano-San has decided to choose her next challenger, as opposed to another unworthy whelp coming out here demanding a shot against her. It has come to our attention that an example must be made. A statement. And that statement is to prove once and for all that Nagano-San is the strongest. That Nagano-San is the best female wrestler on the planet, in ANY country. And it is for that reason that Nagano-San has chosen who she wishes to defend the Onyx Title against at Ring Rage.

And the woman she chooses to defend against, is none other then the woman who is presently regarded as the best female wrestler in the world...






...Ashley Diamond.

The explosive roar of the crowd was so deafening, the whole arena began to shake.

Buzz: Let me clean out my ears for a moment. Did I just hear that right? Bull Nagano is challenging Ashley Diamond? Now there's a change of pace.

Goldman: When you think about it, it makes perfect sense. They want to prove the point that Nagano's the best...period. Who better to prove it against then the woman who revolutionized Women's Wrestling in North America?

Ashley and I have competed against each other before, but this will be Nagano-San's 1st time going up against her. And this, contrary to what Ms. Cardinale said last month, will be her greatest test to date. A test that like all others, she will pass with flying colors. So all that remains now, Ashley...is for you to accept our challenge. We cordially await your response.

Ina lowers the mic, and the two women, as well as the world...await the arrival of "Ms. XWA."

The crowd bursts into a boisterous cheer as "Decode" from Paramore fills the arena. Without hesitation, Ashley Diamond makes her presence felt in the Dean Smith Center.

Goldman: Here, in an arena synonymous with champions...comes the greatest Diamond Champion of all time. And that's saying something since there's been quite a few of them.

Buzz: Ashley Diamond isn't about belts. She's about results. She's about proving week after week that she's worth every bit of the praise she garners. I mean, look at what she did at Soul Survivor.To take that biblical an ass kicking from your own sister, only to pull it out with seconds remaining and make her tap out, that's the stuff of legends. But then again, Ashley's entire career is the stuff of legends.

Ashley heads down to ringside, and joins Ina & Bull inside the ring. She beckons for a mic of her own, and gets right to the task of answering the call.

There's no question in anyone's mind that you're as tough as they come, Bull. I'd be ignorant not to acknowledge the fact that there isn't a woman like you in this business. And it'd be equally as ignorant for me not to acknowledge that you will without a doubt be the toughest test in my career as well. But you see, girls...I've been tested all my life. Since the day I began my wrestling career, I'd always been told what I can't do, or what I wasn't. "You're not pretty enough to be in wrestling." "You're not strong enough." "No one cares for a woman with technical skill, they wanna see T&A." I've built my legacy in this business by defying the odds, as well as conventional thinking. I showed the world that there's more to Women's Wrestling then having your business hanging out and slinging insults. And it's by those ideals that I'll continue to compete by.

She pauses, acknowledging the cheering fans.

It's been believe it or not just under 2 years since I've held a title in XWA. The last time I actually competed for one, was that very title on your shoulder, Bull...when it was held by the 1st Onyx Champion, Alundra Jade. A woman who I respect. A woman who in the last year has become well...the big sister my real life big sister isn't. She took me into her home in later 2008, and I stayed there in Japan, and trained under her for 4 months. I owe Alundra a lot. I owe her for helping me become a better wrestler, and a better person. And I owe her...giving my best to do what no one has done before. And that's not just beat you, Bull...

...but beat you decisively.

The crowd responds in a thundering cheer as it seemed Ashley was more the ready to back her words.

You see, Ina...I am NO ONE'S example. I respect the fact that you both have come out here and issued this challenge, but you two seem to have the wrong idea going into this. You both think that Bull's gonna face me, and do to me what she's done to everyone she's faced since 2008. But just like I've never faced anything like her, she's never faced anything like me. But I'll tell you what, I'll give Bull ample chance to see what she's just walked her big ol' self into...tonight. Her and me, one on one. And Ina, I want you to be in her corner as well, because I want you to bare witness to what happens with your own two eyes. Marisol proved that Bull can be beat last month. Tonight, I prove that she can be dominated.

The crowd was in a fever pitch as the determined Ashley Diamond stands tall in the face of her biggest challenge to date.

Goldman: Did you ever think you'd here someone literally stand face up with Ina & Bull and say what Ashley's essentially said?

Buzz: Of course I did. And of course that person would be Ashley Diamond. If there's anyone on the planet I think is capable of dominating Bull Nagano, she's the blond standing in the ring right now.

Ashley waits for what would most likely be an interesting response from Ina & Bull.

After a brief chuckle to herself, Ina turns to Bull and speaks in their native. Upon telling Bull what Ashley has just said, Bull's usual scowl turns even colder. She herself speaks something in Japanese, and Ina in turn translates.

Nagano-San says: "Your confidence befits a woman of your stature, but that confidence will be your undoing. I've waited a year for the chance to be able to prove to the world that I'm better then you. To show women's wrestling that it's faith in you being it's savior is misplaced. This will not be just another victory, it will be the defining moment of my career. You may look to show that I can be dominated, but I look to show that you are mortal afterall."

Ina then adds words of her own.

I myself have always admired the rather blind faith you have in your skill. With the caliber of competition you've come up against and defeated, myself included...I would suppose that it affords one the right to have such confidence. I could stand here and come up with so many other things to say, but I'd much rather spectate and as you so eloquently put it "witness what happens tonight with my own eyes." Though what you believe will happen tonight, and what actually will happen I think are two completely different things. I guess it's as they say...tonight's match will build momentum into the impending title match. We'll just see who attains that momentum, won't we?
