After a previous match, we join Joe Beakman backstage.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to welcome in my guest at this time, 2008 Hardbody of the year, Finesse.
The camera pans out some as Finesse joins Beakman in the Interview area.
Finesse, you've got a tall order ahead of you tonight in the form of the "The Master Manipulator" Pollox Troy. A Pollox Troy who's most likely not in the best of moods after losing to long time Rival Ethan Bain at Soul Survivor.
Yea, that goes without sayin', my man. But the way I see it is this. You don't get into this business expectin' to win every battle. Even the best take an L once in a while. But that's not what makes you the best. It's gettin' up, dustin' ya' shoulder off and continuin' on. That's what makes you the best. Right now, me an Pollox are on the same boat. We know what we're lookin' for, and we know that the next few matches we have are going to tell the tale of if we reach where we wanna' be. So it's justa' matter of doin' tha' damn thang, feel me?
So, where is it you wanna be then, Finesse?
I kid you not, Beaks. I think I'm long overdue a title shot. And I mean a one on one title shot. Had a few chances at the World Title in some of earlier "Big Matches" this year. But the one thing that's eluded me so far is gettin' my hands on some gold. Right now, my focus is movin' up the championship ranks. Don't matta' which one it is, World Title, National Title or the No Limits Title. I'm lookin' for a fair shot at either of 'em, and I'm willin' to prove and fight whoever I need to get to it.
Just as Finesse finishes, the mood changes as the always crafty Pollox Troy joins the discussion.
