* Name: Jacob Slayton
* Height: 6'4"
* Weight: 237lbs.
* Hair: Dark Brown
* Eyes: Gray
* Hometown: New York, NY
* Age: 23
* Years In Wrestling: 3
* Theme Song: Soilwork - Stabbing The Drama (Sent with caw)
* How It Started: Growing up, wrestling was my passion. I knew from the 1st time I went to an event when I was 8 years old that I wanted to be a pro wrestler. Now, I'm living my dream, and loving it.
* Gimmick: I'm just a blue collar, hard working guy trying to make a name for himself in this business. No time to play a role.
* Wrestling Style: I guess you could say I'm one of those new age guys. You know, the "Super Athletes" you see coming up in wrestling. It's not a trend, it's an evolution.
* Gear/Outfit/Costume: Nothing fancy. I wear standard fair gear to the ring. Paying homage to the past by keeping my in ring dress as simple as possible.
* Titles Held: None to date, but that's always subject to change. Who knows, I might catch a break some day.
* Biggest Win: Winning a tournament that was being held in a community center of all places out in Coney Island. That's when I started turning heads in the business.
* Worst Loss: No such thing as a worst loss to me. You learn from each one, no matter how bad it was.
* Favorite Type of Match: I've always been found of the Extreme style. High flying highlight reels in real time. Maybe one day I'll see what I can do in the No Limits Division.
* Favorite Moves/Holds: My running turnbuckle clothesline into an Over Castle combo. Always effective.
* Finisher: I call it "The Crossroads". But the technical name of the move is the Black Dragon DDT.
* Biggest Allies: Diego Cruz, Tomas Snell & Adam Arsenic. (All still indy wrestlers.)
* Most Hated Enemies: Ronny Riggs, Toru Shinoda and Razr Callahan. (Same story)
* Favorite Wrestlers: Well, growing up I was a huge ECW fan. Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Taz, Mikey Whipreck. All of those guys are guys I idolized. Right now I'm a huge fan of guys like Kris Cade, Van Hayden and Adam Devlin. They're the last true gladiators in the business. Here's hoping I can add my name to that list.
* Wrestling Ambition: I've made it this far. The biggest wrestling promotion on the planet. I'd be lying if I said my ambition wasn't to reach the top. But I know it's a long road ahead to doing so. So I'll take it one match at a time.
Jake's Personal Notes...
I like to think of myself as a guy who bridges old traditions with new ideals. That's what I bring to the table. I know my roots, and the roots of this business. But I also know what direction it's headed, and where I stand in it. I'm not going to come out and say I'm going to revolutionize the sport, or make an impact. That'd just make me like every other new comer. What I will say, is that I plan on finding my place in it. I'm a believer that hard work, dedication and perseverance builds legends, not witty one-liners, fancy t-shirts and lazer light pyro displays in your ring entrance. Bottom line, win or lose...the man who gets in the ring with me is going to remember the night he did.
