Nearly a month is was and no one had seen or heard from Romeo Davis. All that was known was that he had suffered an injury. So what has been done in the life of Romeo Davis during the past month? He was resting for first week and after that he hit the gym basically everyday to get back in shape and to also pick up some muscle. Along with going to the gym he was being in training. During these training he learned many new moves and also learned to be quicker and more aggressive in the ring. It was both beneficial and satisfying for him.
Where was Romeo now? He sat at an empty beach. The sun was beginning to set and he had the perfect view to watch it. The wind lightly hit his face. He was never used to this because he used to have hair. He did miss having his dreads. He had to get his hair cut because of the neck surgery which sucked, but this was going to be a new beginning for him. He began thinking about what he was going to do now. He sat with his knees up with his arms lying on his knees. It was going to be weird going back to the XWA because he would look different. The dreads were a part of him and now they were gone. He wondered what people would say to him. He wondered if anyone would notice who he was. He looked up to the sky. There were many colors in the sky. He hasn’t watched a sunset since he was a kid on vacation in Jamaica. It was indeed beautiful. As he was watching the sun set and thinking about his future, a figure came out of the distance. Romeo didn’t think anyone came to this beach. He thought it was abandoned and possibly this other person thought the same. He sat waiting to see who this person was and if they would come toward Romeo.

It was Kris Cade that had made his way toward Romeo. The last time Romeo had spoken with Kris was last season when the two were feuding with Primo.
Cade my man, what’s goin’ on? Haven’t spoken to ya’ in a while man. How are ya’ feelin’ after what happened at Soul Survivor?

Pissed...
Cade takes a seat on the sand beside Davis.
Count on the fact that Sylk's on borrowed time. It took him, his goon squad and an obviously paid off official to gip me out of the GrandSlam Title. But I've already been contacted by XWA brass. He's dealings won't go without a reckoning. What about you? How's the injury rehab coming along?

Yeah man, ya’ had the title right there in your hands basically but Viewer’s Discretion had to show up. They knew that ya’ had the title all secure which is why they came down. They didn’t want their “boss” to lose his title to the betta’ wrestler. It’s whatever though, I know that you are gonna get your revenge.
Romeo then rubbed the back of his neck after Kris had asked about the injury rehab.
It’s goin’ real well. I’m feelin’ good right now. I’ve been trainin’ all month and can’t wait to get back in the XWA ring. The bad part was that I had to get surgery and had to cut all my hair off. It sucked but I’m startin’ to get over it.

I feel your pain. I've kinda grown attached to my hair, too. A lot harder for us white guys to grow dreads then you African-American fellas. *Heh heh*
Cade looks out to the ocean and adds...
I know how it feels to step away or be forced to leave before it's time as well. To have unfinished business. I could have just as easily stayed out of wrestling. Stayed back home in Charlotte with my wife and my new born. But there was this one moment when I was sitting at the end of my bed. All my wife did was rub my back and say "It's time." She knows me better then anyone. And she knew it was time for me to get back into the ring. Before...when I 1st came into XWA, it was about making myself known. Standing out in a sea of inflated egos and hot shots. Showing the world that having skill, determination and discipline still meant something, not just in pro wrestling...but in life. But now? Now I'm doing this for my wife Elizabeth. For my son Kristian. For my legacy. When it's all said and done, I don't care if I'm regarded as one of the best to lace 'em up. All I care about is that the world remembers me as being one of the guys who stood for something more then a witty one-liner, a cheap pop and a shallow, souless existence. It's time men like you and I took back this sport from men who'd rather whore it out for their own personal gain.

That is correct Kris, You could have just stayed home with your wife and newborn. But ya' came back whether it was because your wife told ya' to or not. That's very carin' of ya' to do all of this now for your wife and son. I believe when ya' dedicate things to a certain someone then it makes ya' all that betta'. I completely understand where you're comin' from bro. It really is time that wrestlin' returns to what it used to be. I'm sick of what all these wrestlers are doin' nowadays. Just get in the ring, wrestle, and be done wit' it. It's as easy as that.
Romeo looked out over the horizon to continue watching the sun set. It was almost at the point where it couldn't been seen very well. It was beginning to get dark out.
But yeah Kris, it seems as though you stuck in a lil' situation wit' Viewers Discretion. Ya' can't take em' all on by yourself. You're gonna need some back up and that's where your boy Romeo is gonna step in. I did it once wit' the whole Primo thing last year and now I'm 'bout to do it again wit' Viewers Discretion. You down wit' that?
