The new theme of Ethan Bain, 40oz Failure's "Unbroken Circle" cues over the PA following a break, and "The Big Ticket" steps out from the stage met by the thunderous cheers of the fans. Sporting faded blue jeans, work boots and a TapOut Tee, Bain makes the walk from stage to ring with purpose. In usual fashion, he bounds up to the apron with a single leap, and steps over the top rope. After calling for a mic, Bain speaks to the masses, and to two men in particular.
Ya'know folks, I ain't never been one of those guys who were good at cuttin' those long, 15 minute promos that have you sittin' at the edge of your seat. That ain't what Ethan Bain's about. Over the last few months, I've come up with my own lil' philosophy for what I do in this business. "Just shut up and fight." That's what I do best. There's a reason why they call me "The Texas Bull." Because when I step in this ring and the bell rings, I see red. And my mission in between the starting bell and the winning bell is simple, Destroy what's in front of me.
Bain paces the ring.
Now the last 10 months, I've been havin' my issues with Pollox Troy and his boys. And yea, it's gotten personal. Real personal. But if any of you have been payin' attention, I've decided to do exactly what I said I'd do, shut up and fight. Pollox and his chumps come out here and mouth off every week, and I come out here every week and put my foot up their ass. The last two weeks, Pollox has been hidin' behind his protege, Craig Toa. And the last two weeks, I've beat Toa's ass. So here's my question to ya' Pollox: When are you gonna man up and fight me again? I can understand you not wantin' no part of gettin' in the ring with me one on one again. In fact, I can't say I blame you, NO ONE wants to do that. But it's not about what you want, it's about what the people want. And they want to see me beat the crap out of you...again.
The fans cheer their approval and agreement with Bain's claim.
So here's what's gonna happen. You're gonna mosey your ass down to this ring tonight, get in it, Jack over at the time keeper's table is gonna ring the bell, and I'm gonna let a month's worth of frustration out on your skull. Sound like a good plan, people?
Again, the fans cheer in approval. Bain turns to the stage and awaits the appearance of his rivals.

Pollox Troy steps out onto the stage flanked by Craig Toa. The pair of men are met with rampant boos from the Assembly Hall fans. Together, both men make their way to the ring.
Tony: There have been many people all across the net talking about how Pollox has pretty much been ducking Bain the last month or so. And within the last two weeks I'd say I kinda agree with 'em.
Willy: I wouldn't go as far as to say he's duckin' him. He's just been busy. Last week him and his brother did put the boots to Johnny Aces and the returning Cody Black after all.
Pollox, mic in hand...raises it to speak.
That's one thing I've always admired about you, Bain. You're always straight to the point. No nonsense, no frills and no hesitation. It's your greatest strength AND your biggest weakness all at the same time. But allow me to lay to rest some of these rumors flying around. I have no reason...and I do me nooooooo reason to duck you, Bain. I've proven before that I can beat you one on one, so why one Earth would I be afraid to do it again? What it looks like to me m'boy is that you've forgot a very important lesson. You can't intimidate an intimidator. I've been doing it long before you even put on your 1st pair of tights. I've heard you challenge loud and clear, but any strategist knows that when a challenge comes, take it on your own time. And that's what I've been doing. Now, I have to give you props for beating Toa here two weeks straight, even though he's not the least bit pleased about it.
The camera switches to a shot of Toa close up with a none to pleased scowl on his face.
So much so that he came to me earlier today with what I think is a brilliant idea. An idea that gives everyone what they want. Tonight, me and Toa are going to team up and take on you and your partner Jim...oh wait. That's right. Ames is already booked for a match tonight. Darn. I guess that means you're just going to have to try and find you a random partner who's got the stones to get in the ring against "The Mastermind" and "The Samoan Giant". And if you can't? Well...since you're such a tough guy I don't think you'd object to a potential handicap match then now, would you?
Pollox waits for the reaction of Bain to the proposition for the evening.

A Semi-satisfied yet unsurprised grin proceeds Bain's response.
On your time, eh Old Man? Is that what they used to call it back in the day? Ya'know what? I'm not even gonna debate that point. At least I get your chump ass in the ring. And gettin' the chance to put the boots to your Samoan Bodyguard again? Let's call that icing on the cake. But I think you're a lil' misinformed, Pollox. I actually believe there's a whole bunch of guys backstage who would line up willingly to knock your ass down a peg. In fact, Not only am I gonna accept your challenge for a Tag Team match tonight, I'm gonna let whoever decides they wanna come down to this ring and join me in your communal ass kickin' on their own. Just to show you how misguided your sense of self is. And then, after we hand you and your boy your asses, I'm gonna do the same to you mano 'e mano at Soul Survivor. And this time, I'm gonna leave absolutely no doubt as to which one of us is the better man.

That's wishful thinkin' there, kid. It really is. I hate when this happens. When young bucks like you get on a role, you think you're invincible. Last time you got on a role like this, I stopped it cold. The time before that, it was Magnus Von Schwartz. And the time before that it was Dru Nedermeyer. An unfortunate pattern for you. Against the rest, you do pretty damn good. But against the best, not so much. A trend that's going to continue at Soul Survivor, bank on that. And I'd like to see someone come down and take up your open invite to be your partner, I really would. It's going to make things that much sweeter when no one does. Then it's going to be the two of us, against the one of you. And if that's what happens, we might not leave anything left of you for me to beat up on in the United Center.

Suddenly, Johnny Aces appears on the Overload set. Not wasting a single second, he jumps right into the mix.
NOT so fast, my friend. Tha' big guy's right when he says there's a lotta guy who'd line up ta' knock ya'ass down a peg. I should know, I'm one of 'em. Last week, you and Kaster got the better of me and Cody. Can't say I ain't used to it. But you oughta' know betta' then ta' right me OR Cody off. So here I am, sittin' here watchin' the proceedings on my monitor, and you come out to challenge Bain in a Tag Team match with your newest follower. Then ya' go on and say he can find himself a partner of his choosin'. Pollox, ya' may as well have just invited me down ta' kick ya' ass personally, cuz there's no chance in HELL that Ima' pass up the opportunity.
Willy: Looks like Bain don't have ta' look far for a partner does he? This is gonna be goooooooooooooooooooooood.
Tony: Johnny Aces and Ethan Bain already own a Tag Team win over Pollox and Kaster from 2008. You can imagine that's definitely not left the mind of Pollox.

Pollox turns his attention to Aces on the set and responds.
There's a reason I didn't call you out, Johnny. It's because I figured after the beating Kaster and I gave you and Cody last week you'd be smart enough to back down. But since when have you EVER done anything smart in your career, eh John? You wanna join in Bain's beating tonight? By all means, be my guest. Considering the fact that there was once a time that you and I were friends, I wanted to leave you out of this. But since you insist in sticking you Cajun nose into my affairs, I guess I'll have to make you regret it, just like the good ol' days.[/font]

Johnny raises his mic and responds by saying:
The only think I regret "Chuck" is not takin' your ass out when I had the chance. Not breakin' your damn neck when an entire arena was beggin' and pleadin' me to end your damn career four years ago. But if I ever get that chance again, bet ya'ass that I'm not gonna be as lenient. That's if Bain there doesn't beat me to the punch.

Bain responds to Johnny's retort.
Oh don't you worry. I don't plan on beatin' him that bad. I just wanna shut his mouth a bit. I'll leave the duties of ending his miserable and WELL overdue career to the man who should rightfully do it, you.
Bain looks back to Toa and Pollox.
Tonight's only gonna be the warm up. The real fun happens in one week at Soul Survivor. And before I stake my claim on gettin' back into the XWA World Title picture, I tie up my loose ends. I don't like havin' unfinished business, and you just so happen to be on my "To-Do" list.
Bain's theme hits the PA once again. The scene ends with a veritable stand off between the principals of the match.
Tony: Toa & Pollox Troy versus Johnny Aces and Ethan Bain, TONIGHT! Man is that going to be one hell of a showdown. We'll be back after a short break.
Overload goes to a commercial break soon after.
