Ashley enters the backstage area and is immediatly bombarded with congradulation from event staff and fellow wrestlers. In her hands she hold the APW Diamond Championhip. he holds it up over her head triumphantly. It was always her dream to become a champion, but on this night, she became XWA's 1st EVER champion. Something that would never be taken away from here.
I did it everyone!!! I did it!!! XWA Diamond Champion!!! Ashley DIAMOND Champion!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
She sets the belt down and starts doing the cabbage patch.
Go Ashley...go Ashley...it's ya' birfday...it's ya birfday...I'm da' champ'yun...I'm da' champ'yun.

As Ashley continues to celebrate amongst herself, Billy walks over to her from the gathered crowd, he had made his way from his locker room to congratulate her, but didn't expect to see this many formed. He approaches from behind. In his hands were two cans of beers.
"Well, Miss Diamond, looks like we both got what we wanted. I put a sock in that Ames boys mouth and I must say, that belt will definitely be lookin' good around your waist." |

Ashley smiles at Billy with a toothy grin. She takes the beer and cracks it open. taking 1 long swig, she wipe her mouth with her wristband and replies to him.
It does, doesn't it? This has to be the greatest night in my LIFE!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! WAIT!!!, I've gotta call my mom. My sister. My ASSHOLE Ex-boyfriend. This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Beyond awesome!!!

He popped open his own can and took a swig himself, just a quick one. His eyebrow raised slightly as she took a big gulp of it down.
"Well, damn girl, quite a drinker ain't ya? I like that.."
He looked around at the people who were still in the area, he then looked back to Ashley, taking another sip, before continuing on.
"That match was a good'n. Real clincher near the endings to be perfectly honest. But, now that yer the champion, what do ya' got in store for this place?" |

I never thought of that. I'll bet my ass that 1 of the other girls is gonna come gunning for me sooner rather then later. But I'm ready for it. I'm gonna be a fighting champion. I'll take any of them on, anytime, any place. That's jut the kinda gal I am.
She pats the title on her shoulder with an approving gleam in her eyes.

Got any idea who the first challenger might be? I'm thinkin' it'll be that pink haired lady, since she was the last one to be eliminated n'all." |

Ryan manages to find his way through the crowd. He greets and congradulates Ashley.

Without warning a woman moved through the crowd, gunning straight for Ashley Diamond, the woman who eliminated her from the battle royal, and the one who went on to win the damned thing. She was still wearing her wrestling gear as she approached, she placed her hands on the back of Billy and pushed him forward with all her might, he stumbled forward and hit a table, with enough momentum to send him over the table, bringing it with him. The beer can in his hand falling and spilling out to the floor below. She snapped her head towards the young Fierhart brother, as if giving him a warning look. She then slowly cranked her head towards Ashley.
"You... You're the one who attacked me from behind aren't you? The one who put me out of that battle royal..? Well, Diamond, I don't take too kindly to that, and neither does my "father". So, here's the deal. You and me, one on one, or I'll make your life a living Hell, and trust me, I know what Hell is." [/font] |

Ashley takes a look over to Ryan and Billy. She steps back a bit before answering Willow.
If it's a fight you want, I'm the right person to come looking for. You know how it is, every woman for themself. But if you want to settle up with me, I'm certainly not going to back down from it a challenge. Name your time and you place, and i'll BE there.

She laughs slightly, gutsy this one was, she liked that, she stepped back a bit, and clapped her hands together.
"I must commend you for your bravery, Diamond. Too bad that your bravado will prove to be no use when you do meet me out there in the ring for a one on one show. If its allowed by the higher ups, Gallas and Blackheart, meet me at the next show... Bring one of your friends here if you'd like..."
She smiled devilishly to Ashley as she began to back away from the scene, hands extended to the side slightly, palms upturned, facing Ashley. |
