As the 2nd Overload program of the month comes on the air, the fans are treated to the entrance theme of Upper Echelon. Boos ring out from the crowd as Scott O'Dell, Osiris Alston and Primo step out from backstage.
Tony: As much as I loath saying this, you have to be impressed by the performances these three put on last week, Willy.
Willy: There was neva' a question about the talent they have. It's their integrity that you question. But I agree, they put it down last week, that's fa' damn sho'.
As the three men enter the ring, Scott is handed a mic. He wastes no time addressing the masses.
Maybe now all of you simpletons get it. Maybe now you all see just what XWA is looking at. I know what I saw last week. I saw a show of force by the single most dominant alliance of talent the industry has ever seen. Upper Echelon competed in four, count 'em...FOUR matches last week. And Upper Echelon won all for of those matches. Bryan Jasta dropped Osh Vaughn on his skull...again. Osiris Alston did what he does best, kick Adam Devlin around like a soccer ball, Primo gave Jimmy a wrestling lesson I doubt he'll ever forget, and I beat the "Champ" Syrus' ass from one end of the ring to the next. Just as we said we would. There's no substitute for skill. And what you see in this ring is skill in it's purest form. So how do you ask can we possibly follow up last week? Ya' know, we're still trying to figure that out. Just like we're trying to figure out what kind of lame ass excuses our opponents are going to come up with for losing. Maybe the old "I took my eye off the ball" line. Or perhaps the "Last week you were the better man" one, that one's always been cute. But no matter what they say, the fact of the matter...no...the TRUTH of the matter is that they went up against men who are more skilled then them, and they learned a valuable lesson in humility. They learned that no amount of talk of kissing the ass of you idiots in the stands will ever...EVER substitute for takin' care of business in this ring. And that's what Upper Echelon does best.
Scott passes the mic off to Alston.

Taking the mic, Osiris adds to Scott's address.
Ya' know somethin' Scott? After the beatins' we handed out last week, I don't think these yokels even deserve seeing us in action tonight. Not for free anyway. I mean, look at it. Last week, we cleaned house. We took some of the so called "best" XWA has to offer, and we danced all over them like it was a Beyonce video. We showed the wrestling world that we ARE the best, and everyone else is just the rest. I say we sit this week out. What do we have to prove?
He pauses for a moment.
On second thought. Sittin' out this week wouldn't be good. Not when we can repeat what we did last week and hammer home the fact that Upper Echelon rule this ring.
Just as he was about to continue, they're pre-empted by the entrance theme of Overload GM Stan O'Malley.
Tony: Looks like the pride parade's being cut short. Here comes Stan O'Malley!!!

Stan steps out to the stage with mic in hand. He gets right down to business.
Fellas, fellas. Let me 1st say congratulations for the performances you all put on last week. People may not like you guys much, but after last week, everyone has to respect your skill in that ring. But ya' see, on my show...and yes boys...this is my show, it's not so much to put up a good show one night. You need to do it every week. On Overload, I'm holding every man on payroll accountable to man up and bring it every night. And tonight, we're gonna see what kinda men you boys are. Earlier today, I had a meeting with your opponents STE, Ames and Devlin, and they all agreed to terms on a very interesting match I'm booking for tonight's main event.
Tonight, it's gonna be a 6 man, 1 fall to a finish Tag Match. But this match is going to have direct implications on ALL of your matches at Soul Survivor. Because to the winning side goes the spoils. And the spoils you ask? The chance to name the stipulations for your matches at the PPV.
The fans roar in approval of the GM's announcement.
Willy: Hot DAYUM!!! If that ain't a huge match, I don't know what is.
Tony: This will be the 1st time all of these men will team together. Granted O'Dell and Alston have been partners on numerous occasions, Primo to my knowledge has never competed in a standard format Tag Match, only Tornado Tags.
The question is are you boys up for a little pain tonight or what?

Primo secures the mic from O'Dell, and speaks on behalf of his cohorts.
Mr.O'Malley, I really must question your business savvy. You may think that booking such a match is something that will boon Overload in the long run, but in fact, you've just made a very grave error. An error I regret that may seal your fate as GM. You've just sentenced 3 of XWA's best to their ends, and their epitaphs shall be written by us. Do you really think putting Sykes, Ames and Devlin together in a match against us will make any bit of a difference? They failed to defeat us individually, and you think by any means that united they'll fair any better? Your naivety astounds me, even for a man of your experience. But alas, they've already agreed to this match. So on behalf of Scott and Osiris, I as well agree to the terms of this contest, though a contest it most certainly won't be. It'll be more along the lines of a massacre.
Tony: It looks like we've got ourselves a main event, Willy. And what a main event it is. To the winners literally goes a chance to tip the scales to their favor at Soul Survivor.
Willy: It's gonna be off tha' heezy fa' sheezy, mi amigo!

Stan speaks his final response in saying...
That's pretty big talk there, Primo. Let's see if you and your boys there can back it up when it counts. I'm lookin' forward to the results.
Stan's music cues up over the PA once more. As he exits the stage, Tony and Willy weigh in.
Willy: Ya' tend to almost think Stan's tryin' ta' send a message of his own to Upper Echelon. Last week they pretty much ran through all their competition. That can't have sat to well in his eyes.
Tony: I couldn't agree more, partner. Booking this match I think was a must. But what's even more urgent is for Syrus, Jimmy and Adam to pull it together and knock these guys down a peg or two tonight. We can expect to here from those three as the night progresses, and you can imagine it's going to be plenty interesting.
Overload goes to it's 1st break of the evening soon after.

Later on in the show, Joe Beakman stands backstage with both Adam Devlin & Jimmy Ames, both men dressed and ready for battle.
Guys, we all heard the news at the top of the hour about the huge 6 man tag team match you both will be participating in. It's safe to say this match is going to have huge implications for your matches at Soul Survivor...
Adam cuts Beakman off.
And that's exactly how we want it. You see, Beakman...you've got two types of men in this sport. The men who talk, and the men who let their actions talk for them. I'm personally disgusted by my performance last week. Disgusted with the idea that I lost to Osiris Alston. And I think I can safely say that Jimmy here feels the same way, and I know for a fact that Syrus does as well. But we could stand here and talk about that 'til the cows come home, or we could do the later and let our actions tonight do the talking for us. Upper Echelon seem to think that they have a leg up on the rest of the industry. That because they've all banded together under one banner that they're some kind of army. Well boys, I'm glad that's the way you think of things, because this war you're waging with the rest of the roster is about to take a very drastic change for the worst. After tonight, the tides of battle will shift one way or the other. But you can bet your Armani suit wearin' asses that we didn't come tonight to wrestle, we've come for war.

Jimmy adds.
It takes more then just gettin' beat to break us. Adam and I aren't strangers to gettin' our asses kicked. But here we are. Here we still stand. If it was a matter of quittin' and callin' it a day, we would've done that months ago. But we're not giving those Upper Echelon chumps that satisfaction. Last week, they fired another shot at us, and it was heard loud and clear. And I'll admit personally that I didn't bring my A game. It's going to take the greatest performance of my career to up end Primo at Soul Survivor. I gave less then that last week, and he picked me apart. I'll own up to it. But let's see if him and his boys can own up to the ass kickin' they've got waitin' for them in the main event. We're primed, we're pumped, and we're ready. Last week, Upper Echelon kicked our asses. This week, we repay the favor.
Jimmy looks to Adam and gives a nod, then both men leave the interview area.
There you have it. It's going to be shock and awe in the ring tonight. We expect to hear from the World Champion Syrus The Entertainer a little later, but right now let's send things back to ringside with Tony & Slick Willy.
