Joe Beakman is seen backstage. Setting up an interview with Jimmy Vain. Whose had a rough last couple of months. Things not starting off quite as well as he'd hoped for, and losing every match to Jonny Punch. But surprisingly. He was named as one of the participants for a shot at Brian Yang's No Limits Championship.
Beakman: So Jimmy, later on tonight. You will be joining Kevin Hall, Matt Winters, & No Limits Champion Brian Yang. As you heard earlier by Overload GM Stan O'Malley. If you, or any of the participants are able to pin or make Brian Yang tapout. That man will earn a future No Limits title shot. However, if Yang wins the match. He gets to choose who he wants to face, if anybody at all. What is your response to this predicament ?
Jimmy: Very easy Beakman. You know as well as I do. Its not been a great couple of months for the Wreckless Youth. I underestimated Jonny Punch on more then one occasion, and paid the price for it. You can call it a rookie mistake on my part if you may. But bottom line is this. Punch is old news. Now, I've got my eyes set on the very prize that I came to XWA for to begin with. A No Limits Title Shot and a chance to carry that belt.
Yang's been an impressive champion thus far. There's no doubt about that. I may not have the best win-loss record of the bunch. But my heart, courage, and determination makes up for it. Cause you see, those are the ingredients that makes a great future No Limits Champion, Beakman. I would like to think XWA would want a person who is that much dedicated to there division to carry the strap. And that is exactly what I will do. Whether I'm the 'chosen one' if Yang happens to win tonight, or I manage to pin either one of those punks. Just know this Yang. I'm going to take the No Limits Championship away from you.
As you've seen with my matches with Punch. I'm willing to sacrifice and put my body through all the pain and punishment. Question is, are you ? How much are you willing to give to hold onto the gold. Cause in order to put the Wreckless Youth down for the count. Your going to have to kill me and make sure I breath my very last breath !
Joe Beakman: Lets go back to the ring for more exciting action on Overload !
Camera's switch back to the arena.
