Joe Beakman: Ladies and Gentleman. I'm standing next to the self-proclaimed 'Elite' of professional wrestling. The one, the only, Brandon Payne !
Payne walks in front the camera. Represented by a chorus of boo's by the crowd watching on the big screen in the arena.
Beakman: So Mr. Payne. First things first. How are you preparing for this Elimination Match later tonight ?
How am I preparing ? How do you think I'm preparing, Beakman. I'm busting my ass in the gym for the past week. I've been thinking about what I'm going to say here tonight. I have all these different emotions running through my head at the moment. I'm anxious, excited, even a little bit nervous to be flat out honest. Knowing in the back of my mind. How the odds are stacked against the Takedown team. Cause on paper. You can easily say that O'Dell, Van Hayden, and Ryan Blaze are the most talented combination out of the six men wrestling in tonight's match. You look at Takedown, and you've got myself. Then you have Elsworth, whom I beat to a pulp over the last month. Then Chris Dynamite. Whom unfortunately, hasn't racked up a single win yet.
Way I see it. Its real simple. For my partners in crime tonight. We don't have to like each other. We don't have to exchange Christmas cards every year. But the fact is. Myself, Elsworth, & Dynamite have a common goal. We all want to be the World Heavyweight Champion. So, all I'm asking of Dynamite and Elsworth is to put there feelings aside about me. They need to get on the same page as me, and look forward to taking down our opponents. Because if we don't survive this match. Who knows if and when will ever get another opportunity like this again.
As for my opponents. Well, I heard what O'Dell had to say earlier. To me, he's not a threat. Big freakin' deal. The guy beat me three times. I'm man enough to admit that I've had my fair share of both wins and losses. So, just by beating me. Does he really think that he is that much better then I am ? Fact is, he isn't. I'll give Mr. big shot credit. He's dominated XWA. But fact is, I've done alot here too, and have done alot in other organizations. He's nothing but an ego, and an asshole ! He can say what he wants about my career. Fact is, it wasn't until he locked horns with me a year ago. That people actually started paying attention to HIS career. Before he got into it with me. Everyone just thought he was another big mouth jerk running around XWA flapping his gums. Then he went and had a few matches with me. Surprisingly, beat me a few times. And his career skyrockets. So, if anything. He should be thanking me for giving his career a nice little boost.
BuZZ: (laughs). From one ego to another it seems. Talking about the pot calling the kettle black. Payne is just as bad as O'Dell on the ego part.
What can I say Beakman. I am an Elite. I make stars ? But ! I also BREAK THEM ! So tonight, O'Dell is going to get a nice little reality check. I'm taking him out of his little fantasy world, where everything revolves around him. Bringing him into my world. Where he will fight the new and improved, ever so more self-confident Brandon Payne !
Beakman: Well, that's some pretty strong words about O'Dell. But what about his partners. Van Hayden & Ryan Blaze ?
As far as I'm concerned, Beakman. They both are two very impressive young athletes. I got no beef with them. But I am going to give you a fair warning. Stay outta my way tonight. You two young studs may view this title shot as seeing light at the end of the tunnel. But fact is, the light that you see is a fast, moving, freight train ready to smash right into everything and anything that its in path. So guys, just do us Takedown guys a favor and go home. Come back to fight another day. There's no shame in running away from a fight. Sometimes its best to use your brain then to use your muscles.
Beakman: Is there any concern that one of your partners could cost you the match tonight ?
Very interesting question, there Beakman. Fact is, I don't know Dynamite very well. So I don't look for him to be an issue. Elsworth on the other hand ? I question his intentions. Its been well documented that we hate each other. Hell, what better way for him to get payback then to cost me my dream of becoming XWA World Champion. Then again, come to think of it. What better way for me to screw him over again. Then to cost him his chance. And allow myself & Dynamite to win the match.
There's alot of different variables. Anything can happen in this match. It can easily go either way. However, I'm sick and tired of having to sit on the sidelines and watch everybody else have there fun on the World Title scene. Its time, that a true Wrestling Elite get his chance at the brass ring once more. I've been at this game for a long time. I'm only 23 years old. Needless to say, I've got alot of gas left in the tank. I can go with the best of the best here in the XWA.
But you know, each and every day. I'm haunted about the XXL match. How I came within' an eyelash of beating him for the World Title. Its going to eat at me the rest of my career knowing how close I was to getting the title that night. I have all the love and respect in the world for XXL, I really do. I agree with many that say that was the greatest World Title match in XWA history. Fact is, knowing that I came on the losing end. There's no coming back from that. Unless I have true chance of redeeming myself.
I didn't become an Xtraordinaire for nothing. I didn't do it just to add another trophy to the case. I did it because I worked hard for it. Everything I've ever done Beakman, I've worked for it. People don't have to like me. The fans can hate on me all they want. Fact is, everybody... has to respect me ! O'Dell, Van Hayden, & Ryan Blaze will respect me by the end of the night, period ! I'm going to go in, and win this match. Move on to Mayday. Beat up my partner(s). Then go on and face Syrus the Entertainer for the World Championship. That is exactly how its going to be, like it or not boys and girls.

...Deal With It...
Payne walks away, with the camera's cutting back to ringside.
