As Vendetta rolled on Flood by Tool began to play over the PA System. From the backstage area came Blade with a mic in had, he looked out to the crowd and made his way to the ring. Blade climbed up the steel steps and entered the ring. With his music slowly fading away Blade raised the mic up to his lips and spoke. See what did I tell you Jeff you really though you where going to have me as your "punching bag" but you thought wrong, you where the one that was the "punching bag" I even made you bleed in the ring, so what's that telling me? You can't even beat me if your life depended on it. Boos are heard out through the whole entire crowd. So how about it You and Me in a Tables, Ladder and Chairs Match if you are game enough, but if you ain't well to bad I'll just make you taste blood the second time if you really want that. BuZZ: Wow Blade is really getting into it he does want to put Jeff out of his misery. Matt: Well I don't really know who Blade is but he seems very dangerous. Blade lowers his mic and waits for Jeff to show himself.

Heaven's music cues up, with the Japanese fans giving him a respectful ovation knowing him full well from his stint in Japan three years ago. Rather then come down to the ring, Jeff remains on the stage. With a mic in hand, Jeff with baited anticipation responds to Blade's challenge.
Blade. Buddy. Pal. Friend. While you beat me at Madness, yes. And even managed to bust me open in the process...you're not impressing me the least bit. Nor are you impressing these fans here in Japan. Or the ones back in the states. Or the Canadian fans, the European fans, the Iraqi fans, The Egyptians, The Aussies or even that small tribe in Madagascar that catch XWA programming on a TV inside a crashed plane. Anyone can get leaked, my friend. Hell, if I had a dollar for every time I've been busted open by a guy in a match, I'd be on the XWA Board of Directors myself. You see Blade, you beating me appears to be a monumental occasion. Vindication for you not getting your due. To me on the other hand, it's just another loss in a career full of them, and just as many wins to boot. What I see in front of me is a man who wants so desperately to prove himself that he's sacrificed so much to get over. His integrity. His fan base. Maybe even a little of his credibility. Just another mindless, souless, wanna be toughguy who thinks that damn near taking a guy out makes him some sort of badass.
Well here's a news flash for ya, it doesn't.
Jeff gives a nod to the fans as they continue to cheer. He then continues himself.
You Blade are the worst kind of wrestler there is. One who doesn't have an identity. I'm no rookie my friend. And even though I'd been away from XWA for a while, I still kept tabs on what was going on. I stayed in the loop. And I've been in this company long enough to know that no matter what you've still not quite gotten over. Hell, you're a former Pure Champion and you still haven't got over. Why is that? I'll tell you why. It's because you got no personality. What you might have in skill in the ring you lack in just about every other aspect it takes to make in as a wrestler. And it bugs you. It eats you alive the fact that guy like say, Chris Dynamite can come into XWA, get his ass kicked on three occasions and land himself in a PPV main event. Or how a guy like Jonny Punch can basically drink, smoke and commit felonies on people in the ring and the fans cheer him on like he's Antonio Inoki, whereas you have struggled to crack the 2nd wall in XWA despite being the skilled wrestler you are. So now you've done what just about every man, woman and beast have done in your position. You've turned your back on everyone and now it's alllllllllllllllllllllll about you. How freakin' predictable can you get?
With a chuckle, Jeff concludes.
So as far as that lil' comment of not being able to beat you if my life depended on it. I'm sad to say that that's a very, verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry uneducated assumption, my friend. You could be me tonight, tomorrow, the week after and every other time we meet for the rest of our careers in the ring...and I'll still beat you in the long run. Because I have something that you don't. Something that no amount of wins in between those ropes will ever get you. An identity in this business. People know who I am. I could walk down the street here in Tokyo and have people come up to me for autographs or photos. How many of those have you given in your career, eh Blade? I'll take having the respect of the people filling the stands and filling over having a few wins anyday of the week. Because wins and losses come and go. But these people? They're forever.
So speaking of the people...how many of you would like to see me face The Terminator here in a TLC match tonight?
The fans give their answer in cheers.
I guess I've gotta give the people what they want then, eh?

Blade raises the mic back to his lips. Seriously Jeff I am getting really sick and tired of hearing your voice, and it's time for me to shut you up once and for all. So I was thinking about adding to our TLC Match and that is if you cannot beat me here tonight you will never step in this ring with me ever again. Blade has a slight smirk on his face while looking at Jeff. You see I don't need wins or loses to be the best in this business. And I'll tell you one thing I have more skills then you'll ever have. So I hope you are fully ready for our match tonight because I am taking you straight to hell and there is nothing you can do about it. Blade lowers his mic and waits for a final response from Jeff.
