The WaMu Theatre at Madison Square Garden, NYC Days after the Madness PPV, a gathering of wrestling insiders, reporters, XWA fans and XWA superstars were in attendance for this monumental moment in the history of the Xtraordinary Wrestling Association. The cameras rolled as this was broadcasted live on TV and streaming over the internet through the1xwa.net. To a podium at center stage walked the President of the XWA. Hello everyone, and welcome to the 2009 XWA Draft. After years of being one united brand, we've grown into one of, if not the premiere wrestling organization in the world I am proud to say. Tonight is the beginning of a new era in our company.
We have complied the names of all of our currently active make roster and based on alliances and recent activity on XWA Programming as well and title interests, developed this list of draftees. We will go by the names one by one and to which show they will now be a part of. So before we begin, please welcome to the stage the man who will be naming the names of the new Overload roster, the Vice President of the XWA...Mr. Rodolphe Gallas.

Gallas steps up to the podium and speaks.
In 'ze three years XWA has existed, many names have passed through our doors. And many more have risen to levels beyond even our expectation here. 'Zis is truly where legends and careers are made. With 'zis draft, more emphasis will be placed on 'ze importance of three key aspects. Skill. Determination. Desire. Now will be 'ze time for 'zese men to rise to 'zere true potential, or fall trying. Tonight begins a dawn in 'ze history of XWA. What becomes of 'zese men is uncertain, but what is certain...is 'zat it will certainly be fun to watch. *Chuckles* So without any further delay, let's get 'zis shindig started. Carmella, you may do 'ze honors.

Well first and foremost, we have our "automatic" draft picks. These are the three men currently holding XWA Singles Titles aside from the World Champion, who are instantly drafted to the show their belts are now property of.
The PURE CHAMPION ROMEO DAVIS is drafted to TakeDown
The NATIONAL CHAMPION PRIMO is drafted to Overload
&
The NO-LIMITS CHAMPION BRYAN YANG is drafted to Overload
So that's already two for Overload and one for Takedown. I'll now even the odds a bit.
TAKEDOWN'S FIRST PICK IS... The XWA World Champion SYRUS THE ENTERTAINER!!!
Being the reigning World Champion, Syrus can appear on both brands as he sees fit, but when he loses the title he is the official property of TakeDown. Now for Overload's first pick. Rodolphe?

"Wild Thing" James Bowen is sitting in the front row as well.
James: I see this as an opportunity, to start off fresh, a clean slate.

Overload's 1st non-title holding pick...will be a man who is no stranger to big matches, the spotlight of being in main events and most certainly controversy. Love him or hate him, there is no doubt he's indeed changed what it means to be a "badguy" in wrestling. I of course speak none other of...
SCOTT O'DELL
The crowd couldn't help but boo, especially given the recent actions of O'Dell and company at the Madness PPV.

TAKEDOWN'S 2nd PICK IS... Former XWA World Champion XANDER XAVIER LUTHER!
An XWA Ambassador over the years, and we're looking forward to seeing what he may do to help boost TD to new heights. Before we continue, I forgot to mention this...the two current male Xtraordinaires
KAYN & BRANDON PAYNE
are exempt from the draft. They and any other Xtraordinaires from here on out can appear on either show as they see fit. Next?

TAKEDOWN'S NEXT PICK IS... Another Former XWA World Champion "THE GOLD*" ROBBY SYLK
Just like O'Dell, he came to prominence right here in the XWA, and is probably the biggest "big game player" in the company right now. I might as well nip this in the bud as well and announce that the male members of his Viewer Discretion stable
BREAKER & RYAN X. CALIBER
will join him on Takedown. Three for one you could say...

Gallas looks at the next name on the list and takes a deep...deep...DEEP sigh.
The next selection for Overload...is a man who has cost XWA more money in legal fees 'zen we actually pay him. *Sigh* You know him. You love him...for what reason I still can't ascertain...
!!!JONNY PUNCH!!!
