Let The Games Begin.

As March Madness rolled on, Flood by Tool began to play over the PA System. From the backstage area came Blade, he looked out to the crowd and started making his way to the ring.

BuZZ: Well look who it is. It's none other than Blade what does he want this time?

Roach: Who knows but it looks like he is in a pissed off mood.

Blade had reached the ring by the time Roach finished speaking, he climbed up the steel steps and entered the ring. He called for a mic.

With his music slowly fading away Blade raised the mic up to his lips and spoke.

What the hell do you all take me for? A complete joke? You know I am getting really sick and tired of these so called XWA Superstars, it's like most of them are to scared to even challenge me or even yet accept one. So if nothing is going to happen about this then I will take it further beyond my control, and that will to systematically destroy everyone on the XWA roster until I only remain.

Boos showered Blade as he continued to speak.

I actually came to XWA for one reason and that is to fight the best of the best XWA superstars in this business. In my past I have displayed my dominance against a fair few of these superstars. So I will stand here until one of the alleged best of this company comes down to the ring and faces me.

Blade lowers his mic and waits.

BuZZ: Looks like Blade seems to be all business now.

Roach: You've got that right BuZZ. I've never seen Blade like this.

[primo]

Surprise fills the arena as the theme of Primo fills the arena...

Buzz: Wait a minute. Isn't that Primo's music? What the hell is he coming out here for?...he's defending the National Title against Finesse tonight.

Roach: I don't have a clue, Partner. But you can bet your ass it's not going to be something good.

Primo now stands in the ring with Myers. With a mic of his own firmly in his grasp, Primo speaks out.

Here we see a prime example of the reason why Scott O'Dell, Bryan Jasta and myself put our own individual careers on hold to join forces. Here stands Blade Myers. A journeyman in this business. A man who has competed all across the globe. A former Pure Champion here in XWA. A man, who just like us, seeks out greatness that the average competitor can only dream of. Yet for two straight weeks, his challenge has been left unanswered. And why is that? Ego, that's why. Because Blade Myers doesn't have the "Price Tag" of some of the more well known talent, no one even bothers giving him the challenge he deserves. And does he not deserve a challenge? Is he not a competitor like the rest of the men backstage? It's because of the decadence of the so called "Superstars" of XWA that men like Blade here, who don't fit the stereotypical "gimmicks" you peons in the arena, at home AND backstage cherish so dearly that a man with his pedigree and talent can go this long without an opponent.

Primo paces about the ring some.

Or is that actually the case? I think it might be something else. Fear. The fear of stepping in the ring with a man with nothing to lose and everything to gain. The fear of being bested...no...destroyed in this ring by a man who's sole agenda is to do exactly that. Destroy the man in front of him. And you call yourselves competitors. You call yourselves wrestlers. All I see are...

Primo is suddenly cut off by an entrance theme...

[jeff]

I AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM SMELLIN' LIKE A ROSE THAT SOMEBODY GAVE ME ON MY BIRTHDAY...DEATH BED...

The opening line of STP's "Dead & Bloated" hits the PA of MSG with force. The reaction of the fans was a surprised one, as for the 1st time since Mid-October, JEFF HEAVEN makes an appearance in XWA.

Buzz: NO WAY!!! That...That's Jeff Heaven! The LEGEND Jeff Heaven. We haven't seen this guy in months!

Roach: Well he certainly picked one hell of a night to make a return. This could get interesting.

As the crowd cheers on, Jeff takes position at the foot of the PPV set. With a mic of his own in hand, Jeff responds to words of both Blade Myers and Primo.

It's a good thing Bellvue Hospital Center is just a little ways off from here, because I think we need to call us a WAH-mbulance tonight. Blade Myers. There's something I think you need to learn how to do, pal. No, it's not a new move. What you need to learn how to do is

SUCK IT UP!!!

So you made two challenges in the last two weeks that didn't get answered. Ever think that's because maybe...juuuuuuuuuuuuust maybe most of the other guys backstage were a lil' busy, hmm? Or maybe you actually would have challengers if there weren't so many guys who flaked out of making appearances? Anyone here from those Evans bozos lately? Didn't think so. There's a lot of reason why it could have happened. But instead of taking the high road and calling someone out directly, you decide you wanna come out here and hold March Madness hostage. And then there's you "Champ". Out here running off at the mouth about how a man with his pedigree shouldn't have to struggle to find an opponent. Those be the breaks. You suck up and you deal with it. Bitching about it makes you...well...it makes you just like the champ there and his buddies.

Now, I know I've got a lot of nerve coming out here talkin' smack after being away from XWA for a while. But that's what I do. I talk smack, I kick ass or I get my ass kicked. And if I get my ass kicked, I talk smack about the guy not being able to do it to me twice. Blade wants a challenger tonight? Good. Cuz I want a punching bag. And he looks like he's fit for the part. Who here wants to see that?

Jeff raises the mic and the fans give a resounding response to his question.

Sounds to me like that's over 20,000 screaming New Yorkers who wanna see me kick your ass. Who am I to deny the people what they want, eh?

With the classic Jeff Heaven smirk, he lowers his mic. He waits for the impending response.

[blade]

Unfazed by Jeff's words, Blade raises his mic.

Well if it isn't Jeff Heaven. One of the most useless superstars in this universe. Well, inevitably I would have found my way to you anyway, so it is wise of you to take your beating as soon as you could. I commend you on your decision.

Blade starts to mockingly applaud Jeff as the fans boo him.

BuZZ: Does this guy know who he's talking to?

Roach: Of course he does, but like he said he's not going to be intimidated by anyone.

Blade then continues.

Jeff, you want to show me how to be a "punching bag"? I will show you what it's like to be a broken body.

BuZZ: This guys has absolutely no sense of humor.

Roach: He's a straight shooter, I love it!

Blade waits for a reply from Jeff.

[jeff]

With a confident and cocky grin, Jeff responds to Blade's comments.

You know what? I'll take that one on the chin. I'll admit, I haven't quite lived up to the billing I got coming into XWA. Being a former World Champion. Having held titles in every company I've worked for my entire career. But you know what that tells me in the end? It tells me that it's gonna take that much more of my best effort to make it to the top of the XWA grid. And bet your ass that's what I'm gonna be doing in 2009. But I wouldn't go as far as calling myself the most useless superstar in XWA. I mean, what would that Ryan X. Caliber kid have to call himself then?

The crowd gets a good chuckle at Jeff's dig at the Viewer Discretion member.

I on the other hand DO have a use. And that's kicking your ass from all four corners of the ring right to the center of it. And then once I do, I'll dunk you on your skull, pin you for the 3 count. And you'll have gotten exactly what you wanted, your 1st match of 2009. And these fans will have gotten what they wanted as well. To see a grown man cry.

The cheeky Jeff Heaven grins ear to ear as he waits for the next response.

[blade]

Still expressionless, Blade raises his mic again.

Then I hate to disappoint you Jeff, but you will not shine after our match, because I will not fall, and tonight, I will prove that I will be the most dominate superstar in the XWA by making an example out of you.

Blade lowers his mic as his entrance music begins to play over the PA. Blade stands in the ring for a few moments, staring at Jeff before taking his leave and heading up the ramp.

BuZZ: Wow Roach, Blade has made his presence known here tonight.

Roach: Blade has gone completely mental looks like his career has finally started and tonight it's going to start by him taking out "The Legend" Jeff Heaven.

Blade gets to the top of the ramp and turns and looks at Jeff one last time before heading backstage.
