Following a segment hyping the March Madness main event, the show returns to ringside as the familiar entrance theme of Lionel Xander fills the arena. The smarmy Xander steps out from backstage met with the usual boos, and he makes the usual walk down to the ring, smack talking with the fans along the way. X Slides into the ring, and in usual fashion swipes the mic from the PA announcer, dismissing all in the ring. As the fans continue to boo, X lifts the mic to his lips and speaks.
Tyler Hansbro. Widely regarded as the greatest college basketball player in the history of the NCAA. The man who broke every record there is to break in the ACC. The man who instead of going pro last year, decided to stay his senior year for the sake of winning a National Title, and of course we all know that two weeks ago he did just that. He put on a memorable performance in the National Title game, and all throughout the NCAA Tournament. For him, March Madness was a coronation. His swan song to college basketball, and his declaration to take his winning ways to the next level. In a lot of ways, He's just like me. No, North Carolina is just like me. Everyone knows what we bring to the table. Everyone knows that I bring my A-Game. And yet still you have people who doubt. People who think they're good enough to play on my level. People like say, Chris Dynamite.
A sly smirk follows.
Thesame Chris Dynamite who came out here when Issued an open challenge running off at the mouth about how he was going to make "A Statement". Like we haven't heard new jacks say THAT before. He spat off at the mouth about how he was going to make me look bad. About how he was going to make me his stepping stone. And what happened? He choked worse then Michigan State did. Just like Rainbow Roll...I mean Sushi-X before him, I didn't just beat him, I whipped his ass from one end of this ring to the next. You see Chris, it's one thing to run off at the mouth about how good you are. It's another thing to do it and then fall flat on your damn face. To say your performance last week was FAIL in the grandest sense of the word would be a bigger understatement then the fact that Syrus Sykes likes Purple. You definitely showed me last week that your wrestling IS in fact as gawd awful as that ring gear you wear.
X chuckles to himself, then speaks his conclusion.
So, what am I going to do tonight? I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm going to issue yet ANOTHER open challenge to any chump backstage who thinks they can compete at my level. But please, puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhlease spare me the whole tired ass speech routine, eh? We see how it worked out for the last to asshats I beat up on. Maybe, just maybe...I can get an challenger out here that'll make me break a sweat this week.
Roach: Man, I can't stand how smug Xander is. And with every win it gets worse and worse.
Buzz: When you're on a roll, you earn that right. He's 7-0 going back to 2008. And you have to admit, he turned in some dominant performances these last two weeks.
Roach: There's no denying the fact that the man's talented. But he's got an ego to match. I hope someone knocks him down a peg or two tonight.
Xander awaits his potential challenger.
