Glitter at The Prudential Center was not a good night for COA. After getting a one-up on The Sensationals the week prior, Jenna and Channelle fell short in singles action, including a failed attempt to nab the Pearl Title from Amber Gianni.
It wasn't a cause for concern though if you were Jenna Slade though. She was always a crafty, savvy individual after all. It was her who convinced Channelle to join the VD fold in the first place...and now, if not for but a temporary arrangement, there was someone else that she had an interest in.
There are three Sensationals...the third of which had a rather decisive victory of her own against a long standing rival. A rival who Baby now stood at the locker room door of which was guarded by two fairly statuesque gentlemen in black suits.
Wow...I didn't know that President Obama was in the building. Is this Tiffany Masterson's locker room? Can one of you boys let her know that Jenna Slade wants to have a word with her. Tout suite... |

Inside of the room, Tiffany was not at the slightest bit pleased of her lackluster performance in her first 2009 match. She was thoroughly dominated by Marisol Cardinale, unable to mount any offensive on the way to a defeat that was very similar to the night in which she won in 5 minutes a year ago.
Tonight...I will make her pay. I will make an example out of her! Who does that wench think she is, Wolfe?
"She was just lucky last week m'lady. You are every bit better a competitor than she is! You've studied around the world!"
Yes...
"You trained extensively with the best athletes!"
Yes...and even with all of that, I still fell short to...HER!!! No, this is not acceptable! I have gone too easy on her. I've made the mistake of overestimating her. I am the finest Diamond in this place. I shine above all the others. I have NO equal!
"Yes m'lady!"
Tonight...I will challenge Marisol again, and this time I will deal her the most humiliating loss of her career! I will embarrass her in front of these idiot New Yorkers! If they scream for blood, then they shall have hers all over that ring!
Suddenly, her "planning" is interrupted by a knock on the door by one of her security detail.
"Ms. Masterson...you have Jenna Slade here to speak to you."
A visitor? This was unexpected to say the least. There haven't been many who had approached Tiffany backstage before, and of those none were female.
Interesting. Let her in.

Baby walks into the room, and to no surprise even for it being a temporary set-up, Tiffany had things eloquently arranged. Being one with a certain sense of style herself, Jenna certainly could appreciate someone else who lived the "privileged life". Her attention falls from the decor to the reason she so boldly came to where few have come before. Tiffany...I don't think I need to introduce myself do I?Nobody said she was going to be formal here. 
I came to you because I have a little idea for tonight, one that I think you'll be most interested in once you hear me out. You, me and Channelle all have something in common right about now. We all have our beefs with those not-so Sensationals Amber, Jamie and Marisol.
Here's what I was thinking...how about tonight you join forces with me and Channelle in a six woman tag match, and we can get rid of those glory hogs once and for all? |

Joining forces? That was an interesting concept to behold...allies? Like minded individuals who share the same common goal?
So...you seek my assistance...
Sit sat and fathomed the idea for a few moments.
In those three, you have world class competitors. Two of them are direct disciples of Hall Of Fame wrestlers...and all of them have been champions at one point or another. Indeed they were every bit deserving of their group name as was indicated by their individual performances on Glitter.
In all truth and reality, it had dawned on Tiffany that what she was up against all of this time was not just a bitter rival, but her own limitations. For a year she claimed herself to be the true "shining diamond" of the XWA, but still somehow failed to get over this hump. There was a certain level of strength in numbers, a fact that Amber, Jamie and Marisol realized themselves that now Tiffany was beginning to warm up to. Channelle and Jenna proved that they work fairly well as a team, and Tiff was confident that adding herself to the mix could be good enough to do exactly what Jenna said.
This was an offer too good to pass up.
...I accept your offer. One condition however, you and Channelle had better be 100% serious about this. I refuse to be embarrassed again.
