So this was the XWA, Uriko had thought to herself as the limo had pulled up to the Prudential Center. You could hear the roar of the fans inside of the building from yards away. All of those gullible, easily jaded fans who blindly followed this company and adored so many within it. That also were thoughts that ran through her mind on this night as she made her way inside of the building.
She was surely not the only one here, now that it was confirmed by Devin Damian himself that the XWA were nearly powerless to stop them from appearing on their own shows. She continued to walk down the halls of the arena's back areas, contemplating her strategy. Thinking out the most effective way for this "tarantula" to strike.
Her thought process gets interrupted though by the person who decided to join her.

Does my hair look alright? I'll be damned if I'm not looking like a million dollars when those cameras get them their fill of me. I mean, I know I do look like a million, but I just want to hear it from someone else. That was the voice of one Isys Diamante. She was a woman who had a long standing history in the world of women's wrestling. At one point she headed (or thought so anyway) one of the strongest, most feared factions of female grapplers in the world, not to mention the fact that she in her own mind was the single hottest thing to happen to pro wrestling, well...ever! After checking her make-up in a diamond studded compact for the 1,00 times today, she address the woman she accompanied to this arena. Hello? Are you even listening to me??? You know, I agreed to working with you here because we have the same goals, but you're going to have to shed this whole "silent but deadly" crap, Uriko. It's really not a good look, honey.

Uriko sighed deeply, wondering exactly why she made herself agree to bring along this overly-decadent ego-maniac along with her.
You and I are as different from one another as night and day. I don't say anything to stop you from being your loud, boisterous self however...
She speaks softly with a deep accent that implied that English indeed was not the first language of the Japanese native.
...so do me the service of not trying to change who I am or how I act. Thank you. Besides, I'm not entirely certain that our goals are the same. You seem to only be focused on drawing attention to yourself.

Isys giggles mischievously at Uriko.
Isn't that the point? The attention we draw is attention that's not focused on them. That's what this is ALL about is it not? The means to the ends don't make any difference to me, as long as we do what we came here to do.
I'm going to look damn good doing it though. Mmm Mmm Mmm!
The only question that I have for you though is of all of the "Diamonds" we could go after right off the bat, why them?

Because I choose not to follow Rayven's course of action and target a "weakling". And she calls herself a champion? Only because she chooses to take the easy way out everytime she gets.
As the two were driven to the arena, they watched as the Femme Fatale champion cast the first stone earlier in the night.
No, it's wiser in combat to eliminate the greatest threat first. These two are surely that in my opinion, after seeing what they are capable of last week. We must weaken them at the very least if we cannot outright take them out.

As reluctant to admit it as she was, Uriko's strategy sounded good. Picking a fight with who she thought was going to be the toughest kinds in the yard was going to be the surefire way to make waves quickly, and in the case of one of the two women Isys knew personally that she was a big threat.
Right, right, right...well, I'm also not going to be making my appearance backstage like she did either. I want all the lights and the cameras shining down on me! You better believe I've got something to say...
Isys pauses her words. The duo stop as they look a few paces down this hall. The brainstorming session is cut short soon as they happen upon one of the "locals" backstage.

***They bumped into Kim, and she was as usual in not such a pleasant mood, and she was pissed that two new girls cut her off.***
I overheard what you said and what is it that you've got to say powderpuff princess, that you're here like all the other new girls to succeed, to make a name for yourself, to prove to the world that you're not just another pretty face. Give me a break......I've heard that story a billion times over and I'll be damned if I hear it again.
I don't know who you are yet because you're obviously new, just don't ever get in my way again, I deserve respect here but not one of these damn fools gives it to me. I've been wrestling for longer than some of these girls have been training, I'm a born champion, I am the personification of success. I'm going to forwarn you now if you're going to act like the rest of the pathetic "Diamonds" around here, prissying about and not showing me respect, then you best damn well hope we don't bump into each again.

***Silence***
Ya, that's right don't have the courage to stand up to me.......didn't think so, pathetic, just like everyone else here.
***All she could do was scoff***

Ex-SQUEEZE-Me? Isys was obviously not too impressed with the attitude of this one. She sighed deep in and just looked Kim off. Do you have any idea who it is that YOU are talking to? I'm Isys Diamante, bitch! I was a Diamond before your little XWA made it a catchy name for their female talent...if you can call it that, seeing as they do have you on their payroll. She didn't want to waste any more breathe on this woman, but something was compelling her to say more. I could lay you out verbally here as easily as it is that you've shown that you can be laid out physically! Born champion? Personification of success? Don't make me laugh honey...I've been in this game just as long as you have, and I've faced tougher competition than you could ever dream of. You know the difference between you and me though? I make this look good. Let's not get it twisted...I'm not just another pretty face, I am the pretty face! The hottest, fiercest, sexiest "mamacita" on the planet capable of slapping you around like the wanna-be bitch that you think you are!
You better grab a pad and a pen and take some notes, dear...because we're about to show you how things get done. If you're lucky...you might even get to run with the finest of circles. I could use someone to carry my bags.

Meanwhile, Uriko could see that this situation was only going to develop into a verbal spat between two obviously oversized egos. Isys got a kick out of those scenarios, but she on the other hand had other things in mind.
Isys, if showing how it's done is what we've come for, then it would be best if we do is in the ring as planned. There is no time for this wordplay.
She looks over to Kim, who looked as if she was ready to rumble.
Kim Hunter. We know the name fairly well, and the history in this business behind it. Just how long though do you think that others are supposed to respect that history when the goal is to make your own history in the present?
I was the same way before my beloved Devin showed me the purity of thinking outside of such trivial matters. My associate Isys however is not easily swayed by this however, please excuse her...brashness. We've come together for a united purpose and I say this in all respect Kim that in our way is the place that it's not the safest to be in.

You and your "purity" talk again, Tanaka? Seriously, you an Devin Damian should start a religion or something.
Now, it's Isys who is the one who scoffs.
You want to see how it's done then? Fine, I'll take the lead...as usual...and you can back me up. If you need me, I'll be in the ring.
She waved her hand away in that snooty "whatever" motion and was off to "center stage", leaving Kim and Uriko behind to "chat".

From around a corner behind Kim, came Sireena. She didn't see the departure of Isys, nor did she hear the verbal jabbery. She had earbuds in, as she was listening to her Ipod, trying to choose a new theme music for entrance. Locking eyes on the left over new face of the situation, she checks Kim, and see's she's fine, but obviously had some words with the women. This cues Sireena, to back up her friend, and team mate.
Whatever problem you may have with Kim here, you can consider me apart of as of this moment. I'm tired of the girls around here, running in packs, tossing insults at people, and only doing it when they have the numbers in their favor. Fight, if you want, talk, if you want. But the moment I see someone else coming to your side to get the one up on her, then you'll have me to deal with as well.
It was quite obvious Sireena was taking things serious nowadays. Especially since the incident with Bull and her friend.
You must be new, which means your either coming in with the "holier than thou" attitude, or the more grounded approach of just coming in, and letting the ring work do the talking for you. If it's the first, good luck, you got walking windbags with plastic implants awaiting your every word so they can pick them apart and try to embarrass you. If it's the second, then by all means, welcome, and I look forward to the competition.
That's where she left it. No insults, no ego expansion. Purely a welcome, and a warning, depending on her approach to XWA.

In a way, Kim Hunter's brashness was very reminiscent of Isys' arrogance. Volatile. Bound to cause more problems than solutions. This new person in front of her though reminded her of herself. Someone who it appeared was...aware. That and to an extent, protective of Kim. It didn't take much to realize they were probably friends...where as in Uriko's case, the relationship with Isys as it were was purely a professional stance.
Still, in the back of her mind there were designs already working concerning this current state of affairs. She smiles ever so slightly. Not a happy smile, more one of a first impression that was actually impressive. It appeared as if her original two objectives were not the only ones who were possibly threats...or assets. Her response was brief.
Words are meaningless without the thought behind them. Actions are meaningless without a purpose behind them. No fools will be suffered lightly, I assure you on that...as I assure that what you're about to see is something well overdue for those who think that they're untouchable.
You may even find some...enjoyment...in it. As I said to Ms. Hunter though, it would be wise to keep your distance. If you're not with us, you're against us...but allow me to grant you two middle ground as a token of...respect.
Soon, there'd be a clearer understanding of what she spoke of.

She grinned. She couldn't "read" the girl fully, but she could tell by the words, and how they were spoken, that she would be one to watch as well. A token of respect given to them both, a first in awhile, and appreciated. Now if only the other women could follow that lead. Take all the distance you want, or need. We're not looking to make enemies, so much as looking for the next challenge. If, we do cross paths in the ring, so be it. We're just doing the same thing every other girl here, is aiming to do. See a spot, take the spot, make a mark, and leave it, permanently. If some people have to lay, in the wake of our path, all the better. There is no such thing as "an easy way" when it comes to us. We've fought from the bottom up our entire careers, and we quite like the view, as on the way up, we get to step on those who are falling back down, and chose to step on us. So a last laugh, is ours in the end.
Again, much like yourself, I agree about the meaning, and purpose. You seem full of purpose, and have that sense of meaning needed. So, the respect is returned. Whatever it is your seeking to do, or are on the brink of doing. We're watching, as you obviously have our attention now.
She steps to the side, closer to Kim now, allowing a clear path, if that was the way she was going. Either way, Sireena had seen, and heard enough now, to know something was about to happen. She just couldn't place her finger on what..

They had my attention from the second they bumped into me, the brash of you two Isys is it......reminds me of every girl here, not one difference, tell her if she thinks there is.....prove it.
Though, I must say one thing to you........arigato Ms. Tanaka, but only for your levelheadedness. I can feel that this won't be the last time we bump into each other.
***Kim motioned to Sireena***
Come on Sireena, we've gotta get ready........there's big things coming up
