My Stab at Poser 7

These are just works in progress, I was finally able to figure out how to do hair, this is a great program to work with...I plan on workin on this and give my realistic view on Jason Cane...this is what i have so far.





and yes i do realize that his hair isnt black, once I get the hang of this all of that will fall into place.

Take your time with it. The renders I made took damn near 2 hours a piece respectively. One thing I've found is that there is a LOT of trial and error in making a render. I totally respect what work Admin used to put in making the renders for VWE. It's hard work, but the pay off is soooooooooo rewarding. (Like my brand new desktop background...oooooooooooooooooh yea.)

i have now taken a different "root"(pun intended) with the hair. I have decided instead of laying out a big map of the hair, to go in small sections to give it a more layered look...this is probably goin to take more than 2 hours to do cause if im goin to do it, I'm goin to do it right. I will post updates ever so often to let everyone see the progression.

Nevermind I figured out what to do...initially when i up'd the density of the hair I wasn't really seeing any addition, but I just played with it more and got the results i was looking for...lol


okay i came across a snag...the problem im having is making it look like there is more hair, i can give previews of what i have and maybe if anyone knows exactly how to fix it. Right now it looks like a big fluff ball and im not exactly sure what i can do to fix it.

here is the next step....i do plan on making his head a bit thicker and wider to fit his body when i get around to doing that.





the hair is not complete yet but I feel confident on how this is turning out.

I have to say I like these things so far, some good stuff.

its fairly simple to get into after u mess around and read and/or look at tutorials also I have to run this program on my wife's pc and her specs are as follows:

Gateway
GT5028
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
2 GHz and 1 GB of Ram

Which it runs pretty damn well on her's and I have very little lag on it as well.

Well here is something different...I've been working on this one for about a week now. Restarting everytime I wasn't happy with the results and many tweaks thanks to my wife's constructive critism...this is not a finish product cause I plan to add effects and a worthy background which I have in mind and it'll be more clear on why she has a sly smile on her face. I'm goin to see if I can change the fabric color to something more that fits her hair and her skin...let me know what you think and enjoy!!

thanks here is another...this time with different colors and I was gonna put a fireball in front of her but my wife mentioned that it would take too much away from what she looks like...so im goin to mess around with the posing and see if I can get a better situation for her.

here is my almost final project for the elf...i do plan on adding alot more; backgrounds, broken buildings and the "reasons" she is bloodied. Hope everyone enjoys!!
