As the show comes in from a break, Ryan Fierhart stands in the ring. Still dressed in his street clothes, he stands with purpose in his eyes. He raises his mic to speak.
Ladiesandgentlemen. I've found my Kryptonite. And his name is Osiris Alston. I've faced this man three times. And I've lost to this man three times.
Ryan looks out to the crowd.
*heh heh* I'll be the first man to say that losing to the same guy over and over again isn't a good feeling. It's not fun. Nor is it funny. When I went toe to to toe with O'Dell for all those months, I knew what worked and what didn't. I knew how to beat him. But in Alston, what can I say? He's a gamer. He might be a complete and total ghetto asshole. But the man can fight. And he can wrestle. There's no denying that.[/font]
Ryan takes a deep breath before continuing.
Any normal man would have tucked tail and said "I never wanna face that guy again". But I'm not any normal man. I'm a FIERHART. And we Fierharts NEVER back down from a challenge. And that's what you are to me, Alston. A Challenge. My father always used to tell me "You're not defined by who you've defeated, only by who's defeated you." I never even knew what that meant until recently. It means that to make yourself in this business, it's NEVER about who you can beat. It's about finding a way to defeat those you CAN'T. And tonight, I'm gonna find a way.
Cheers swell up from the crowd in anticipation...
You and me, Alston. In this ring. One on one. I can't...no...I WON'T let the fact that I've yet to defeat you stop me from doing exactly that. You might think that you're in my head now. But you're DEAD WRONG. The only day you'll EVER be done with me is when I'm beaten so badly I can't even WALK let alone wrestle. We're not done yet, Alston. Not by a long shot.
Lowering his mic, Ryan awaits the arrival of Alston.
