Takedown continued from the Prudential Center, and after a commercial break the announce had an update on the events that transpired the previous week.
Roach: Welcome back everyone. Last week on the season premiere we all witness one of the most heinous attacks every seen on XWA programming. As many of you know by now, there's been some kind of issue between wrestlers from another company that have singled out XWA as being their rival. Well, after countless altercations during our lives shows, it looked last week as if things were going to be taken to another level.
Buzz: Yeah, you could tell that things were not going as planned early on during the broadcast when Ms. Blackheart was interrupted, but then...the cheap shot on of all people our first Combatant Xtraordinaire Kayn! I just cringe every time I think about it.
Roach: We have some news for you regarding Kayn's condition however. According to our physicians, it appears that Kayn suffered a sever concussion as result to the vicious shots to the head took at the hands of whoever that white-haired thug was last week. He's at his home in Seattle now recovering...but unfortunately it appears that the former Pure Champion's going to be out indefinitely.
Buzz: Yeah, that's a huge blow for XWA...no pun intended of course.
When it looked now as if the show would go to it's next segment or even a match though, something unexpected happened. All of the sudden the sound of Kayn's theme "Hammer Smashed Face" began to play over the PA.
Roach: Wait...what's this? That's Kayn's theme song right there! Could it be that he's here?
Buzz: Naw, it can't be...can it?
The fans were on their feet now as the music played as did his entrance video, but as all eyes were on the stage, it didn't appear as if anyone was coming out.
As everyone was distracted in the arena, just like they were last week, history repeats itself as the same man who it looked as if was escorted out of the Nassau Coliseum had now made his way here to the Prudential Center, and it wasn't until he was standing in the ring with a mic in his hands that anyone had even noticed.
I just wanted you all to get an earfull of that song one more time, because you're not going to be hearing it for a while.
Buzz: W...who? It's HIM!!!
Allow me to introduce myself ladies and gentlemen. I am who they call "The Pure One". Devin Damian is my name and I am NOT an XWA Combatant. I'm standing it this ring right now to put this "establishment" on notice in the name of a company that truly defines the word "Xtraordinary"...
He unzipped the coat he was wearing, and again the logo of this company was emblazoned across his chest on a black shirt.
I represent what you will know forever as XTRAORDINARY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING...the true successor to the word. Why? I'll tell you why. I look up and down the roster of this place, and all that I see are jokes. Everyone wants to be #1, to the point where where everyone has to regurgitate it over and over and over again.
They call me "Pure" because I exist outside of all the ego-tripping and political garbage. All of the ass-kissing and hob-nobbing and fake press that runs around places like this. You see, when you clear your mind of such petty and trivial things, there's only two thing that's left to focus on...the strong, and the weak.
Roach: Has nobody cut his mic feed yet? Get security out here already!
What makes me strong, what makes XCW strong is that from the very beginning we've brought the fight to you over-rated, over-privilege clowns...and as expected most of you just blew it off as if you're all so high and mighty that you didn't have anything to worry about. That's what makes you weak. When someone is throwing arrows over your gates, you defend yourselves...
You all failed in doing that XWA. Kayn failed...and now the single best wrestler in your entire company is laying up in his home with a concussion thanks to me! Thanks to US. That's only the beginning though. Last week was just a taste of things to come.
The crowd is reacting with the loudest boos every, followed by a rally cry of "XWA". Damian smirks at their "blind faith".
You say that as if it means something. I bet your simple little minds must think that this is a declaration of something as simple minded as "war" as well, huh? Nothing can be farther than the truth, and that truth is that this isn't a war. There'll be no winner or loser here. This is a full scale INVASION! XCW will take over this place, we'll take over the wrestling world...or we'll just leave nothing but destruction behind.
One way or another, the fairy tale is over.
