The Hit (Val Romero, Jimmy Vain, MG)

[Sushi-X]

Sushi-X was disappointed that this season opened the same way he opened the last one: with a loss to an established XWA superstar. No time to think about that now. He had a hit to carry out for TNN, whether he wanted to or not. He quickly headed to the backstage area to search for Val Romero. Sushi-X had the black Louisville Slugger given to him earlier.

Suddenly, in his eyesight, Val Romero, the man he was ordered to take out by TNN leader MG. Sushi-X had to be careful. A misstep could be catastrophic. He saw Val walk into the locker room. A few people were walking around, so Sushi-X hid in a nearby bathroom momentarily. He waited for the few people to pass. Five minutes go by before the all clear. He quickly got MG on the phone.

I'm going in. Where you at?

But there was no answer on the other end. The ninja was on his own.

MG, where you at?

Again, no answer. Frustrated, he hung up the phone.

X moved quickly toward the locker room, concealing the bat behind him as he walked. He went into the locker room and closed the door behind him slowly. Val Romero had no idea what was coming. Just as Sushi-X was about to swing on Romero's head...

Vain made his way down the hallway towards the location of Val Romero & Sushi-X. He was heading to his own locker room as he was backstage at Overload just to hang out for the most part. Coming off a tough loss to Jonny Punch on Takedown. He was noticeably wearing a bandage over his head to cover the stitches from the gushing wound from his recent battle.

Vain stopped about halfway, as he saw Sushi-X walk into a dressing room. Not knowing it was Val's right off. Vain sensed trouble and followed behind him slowly to not be noticed by X.

Vain slowly... opened the door to see X holding the chair getting ready to strike Val.

Jimmy: VAL !!! BEHIND YOU !!!

Vain yelled out. Alerting both Val & X. Vain grabbed the chair and both men started a little tug-of-war with the chair, with Vain finally yanking it out of X's hands.

Jimmy: What the hell are you doing, X !?

[MG]

MG and TNN was walking into the bulding to the Overload arena when Sushi-X called him

Man he better be done.

MG had a cut on his head and he didn't even know why then for some reason all the production people and fans were laughing at him for some odd reason. He walks up to a man

Why all ya laughing at me?

Man: You lost to a rookie.

WHAT! Man ya tripping I was sleep at the Takedown show.

Man: Ok man.

MG kept walking and started texting Sushi-X back he wrote

"Yo you better had hit that nigga in the head with a cold one. I want to meet you right in the parkinglot ASAP afterwards. I'ma be there in thirty minutes"

Val turned around he wondered what on earth was going on. "What the..." as he looked at the commotion.

As Jimmy and Sushi struggled for the weapon, Val watched wondering if he should get involved with it. However he was certain it was Jimmy warning Val and then Val looked as Jimmy had things under control. Then in the struggle Sushi's phone was on the floor buzzing Val looked at Sushi then at the phone he picked it up and looked at the text. Then after reading about the "hit" Val had a question for Sushi.

"What is going on between you and MG? Because no offense you don't exactly fit in his gang."

[Sushi-X]

Sushi-X was looking at the buzzing phone. He had to answer it. With something. But what? The ninja was confused. And about to be caught in a lie.

Hey, hey! This isn't what it looks like, okay? I...I... I was just testing you, see? This whole thing with me and MG...now, now... that's just business, alright?

Sushi-X struggled to put a sentence together. He knew if he didn't carry out the hit, the consequences would be much worse from the TNN leader.

Just let me get my phone... okay? I gotta answer this.

Val and Jimmy stared a hole in Sushi-X. They knew what was about to go down. They weren't buying his alibi.

Just business, alright? Let me get this. I gotta tell him something, man.

The ninja quickly grabbed his phone and texted MG back.

Jimmy: "Just business" huh ? Looks to me as if you were about to whack Val upside the head with that chair. The only person that's supposed to be swinging a chair around here is me. Text your little butt buddy MG, and tell him that once I'm through dealing with Jonny Punch. He and his little gang bangers are gonna get whats comin' to them.

Lemme put it to you like this, X. Can you say 'Ninja Vanish' ? Cause that's exactly whats going to happen to you the next time you even ATTEMPT to lay a finger on myself, or Val over there, you understand ?

Vain stood there, waiting to rip Sushi's head off at any moment. He was angry as hell at Sushi-X. Ready to take a swing at him at any moment. Val was the first real friend Jimmy had since arriving to XWA. The last thing he wanted to see what his friend being put inside a hospital. It happened to another friend of his, Romeo Davis. And he would not let the same happen to Val.

[Romeo Davis]

Romeo heard of some commotion that was going on that was going on around the corner near where Val’s locker room was. He was just on his way out of his locker room with a bag over his shoulder. Romeo thought nothing of it until he heard someone yell. He decided that he would see if everything was alright over in the area. He made his way down the hall and around the corner. He saw Sushi-X with a black bat, Jimmy Vain in the area, and Val who looked somewhat confused. Romeo made his way over to where everyone was.

Yo, what’s goin’ on around here? Sushi, what are ya’ doin’ wit’ that bat in your hand?

[Sushi-X]

The last thing Sushi-X needed was to piss off another XWA superstar, much less three. Now Romeo was looking for answers. It was getting thick real quick. MG was on the way. What to do? What to say? Perhaps if he came out with the truth, the three would spare him. MG was another matter.

Look, Romeo, I know this looks weird, man. But you know why I did this, man. Remember back in Los Angeles? I lost that one ladder match? You remember that match, right?

He quickly recalled the conversation he had with Romeo after losing his ladder match at XGames2.

You were in the locker room. I told you about how I was doing MG's bidding whether I wanted to or not. Now... what I was doing right here... is just business. I had to do it for him. I didn't have a choice, man. You gotta understand where I'm coming from, man. My neck's on the line here. Now you know I would have no reason to do this otherwise, right Val? Jimmy? Romeo?

Sushi-X lowered his bat and dropped it to the floor.

[Romeo Davis]

Sushi man I know ya’ lost that match, but still goin’ after another superstar just to injure them for someone else ain’t right. I know MG has got ya’ on this leash but ya’ gotta get off it. Ya’ know that if ya’ actually hit Val and injured him that ya’ would have to deal wit’ mean let alone Jimmy and Val also. Do the right thing and back off right now. I know ya’ don’t want to have people comin’ after ya’. If MG wants to do all this crap then let him do it himself. He’s just bein’ scared and wants other people to do the dirty work for him. MG is already on my list, you don’t wanna have yours on it too. I know you’re a good guy so do the right thing and stop doin’ the dirty work for MG. Let him deal wit’ his own problems.

[MG]

MG recives a sloppy text that he couldn't understand. MG is now standing in the parkinglot waiting for Sushi-X with the blood on his bat. So he texts:

'Yo come here right now!! I don't care. Just come here with the blood on the bat. If it puts a smile on my face then you might get out of the contract.'

MG was all alone without TNN just waiting for Sushi

[Sushi-X]

You know something, Romeo? You make a good point, man. Guess my talks did have a little meaning for you. I wouldn't be going after someone unless being provoked first. I... I got no business doing this, man.

Sushi-X picked up his phone and looked at the text. MG was waiting for him. And he expected the hit to be carried out.

Val, you know it's just business. I wouldn't go after anyone unless I was provoked first. I got an idea.

Sushi-X handed the bat to Jimmy. If he had somehow convinced MG that the hit went bad, maybe there would be some leniency.

I need you to beat me with the bat a little, then the three of you drag me out to the parking lot. MG's waiting for me. I'll just tell him the hit went bad. He'll understand.

Sushi-X prepared for the punishment and penance that was coming to him. He turned his back toward Jimmy as he awaited being hit with the bat.

No, it's okay, go ahead.

Jimmy had heard enough of this. Tossing the steel chair up against the wall on the opposite side of the room.

Jimmy: Dude, seriously. Grow some fuckin' balls. All I hear is you whining and crying "I'm just doing this for business". Dunno about you Val or Romeo, but I smell BULLSHIT ! So Sushi, don't come at me with that crap, alright. I saw the look on your face. I KNOW exactly what you was going to do with that chair. You were laying in wait to bash Val's brain's out all over the locker room.

Listen to me, and listen good bro. I came to XWA for a purpose. To make an impact and to take the X-Gen to the next level. Even though I came out on the losing end of things. Me & Punch tore the house down on TakeDown. Believe me, I'm not through with him yet by a long shot.

As for you ? I DARE you to lay me out with that chair. If you do ? So help me god I will hunt you down chew you up and spit you out where you stand !

I'm not afraid of no one. Not a Ninja, Not a Drunk, Not a Gangsta, NOBODY !!!

I'm sick & tired of all this bullshit.

Looks over at Val, then at Romeo:

Guys, look. I gotta take care of business first with Punch. So I tell ya what. How about you two take care of this little punk ass bitch and that little butt pirate MG. When I'm done with Punch once and for all ? X.... and MG is next !!!

Vain turns around, opens the door and slams it behind him as hard as he could. Leaving everyone in the room speechless. Vain might be a little off in the head, that's for sure. But he wasn't going to take any shit from no one.

Val listened to all this and Jimmy was rather pissed off and so Val looked at the bat before picking it up and taking a good look at it. "To think you could of had my brains on this thing." then Val shook his head as part of him believed Sushi was telling some of the truth and earlier in the night Val had pissed MG off enough to earn a visit from the 'finger' then Val took a swing with the bat and you could hear the whooshing sound.

"Believe it or not Sushi but... I am going to set you free from those punks."

Val already knew MG was waiting in the parking lot for Sushi and in Val's mind that meant MG was a sitting duck. Fight fire with fire is a saying that Val remembered hearing many times in his life. So he took a final look at the bat and remembered what happened to Romeo involving MG and now Val was in the firing line... No that just would not do.

"MG is going to get what's coming." and with that Val was about to leave and show MG how bad 'The Hit' actually went.

[Sushi-X]

The ninja... or the "hitman" was spared. For now. Still in shock, Sushi-X had some thinking to do. He picked up his phone and baseball bat and went on his way. Three men were now after him for an act he had no business committing in the first place. He knew he had to face the consequences from MG. No matter. Sushi-X made his way to the parking lot where the leader of the New Nation was waiting. Sushi tossed the bat to MG.

We got a problem.

[Romeo Davis]

Hold up Val. You want me to come wit’ ya’ just in case? I know ya’ know ‘bout what happened to me and well I damn sure ain’t gonna let it happen to another person.

Romeo had made his way in the direction of Val after asking him the question. He told Val that he would have his back and he was going to live up his end. Friends look out for each other and Val was a friend of Romeo’s. Also he felt bad for what Sushi-X had to deal with so he also wanted to free him from MG’s control.
