Legends in the making (Invite)

Following the 1st break of Glitter, a new theme cues over the PA, Paramore's "Decode". The name that fades into view on the Jumbotron video causes the arena to explode into cheer, as the fans come to their feet.

Travis: Here comes THE FIRST LADY of XWA!!!

Ashley Diamond makes her first appearance of 2009, and she is visibly a completely different woman.

Lucy: Ashley looks in absolutely incredible shape, Travis. That can't bode well for the rest of the Diamonds of XWA.

Travis: This is the woman who raised the bar of female wrestling in North America, of course she would raise it even more for 2009.

As she walks down the ramp, she greets her loyal fans with high fives along the way. Ashley snatches up the mic left on the ring steps, and enters the ring. About 20 seconds of airtime go by as the crowd breaks out into the world famous "Ash-Lee-Di-Mon, *Clap-clap-cla-cla-clap*" chant. As it starts to finally die down, Ashley address the fans.

I've gotta tell you guys, I never get tired of that. Never ever.

The fans explode into yet another boisterous cheer. Ashley motions for everyone to simmer down, and continues.

I can hardly believe that it's been four months since the last time I stood in an XWA ring. Seems like XGames just past last week. But this...this is a whole new season. A new year, and just like like what the Obama administration plans for America, change is in the air in XWA. I look around backstage and I see something I haven't seen since this company's humble beginnings. Focus. And that's good. Because there isn't a female in this company, hell...in this business more focused then I am this year. I won't beat around the bush, people. The goal for this year is real simple...


I want my belt back.

The fans respond with a booming cheer.

Lucy: She was the 1st...and the longest reigning XWA Diamond Champion. She could have very well won it again in 2008, but we all know of the little detour things took for her late last year...

But that's the long term goal. Right now, I have some unfinished business. And that unfinished business lies with a group of females we all affectionately know as "The Black Diamonds"...most notably Michelle Marx & my big sister...Helena Troy.

The cheers quickly turn to boos.

Girls, you know just as well as I do that things aren't done between us. Not by a long shot. It won't be done until one side of this backs down. And you damn well know that I won't quit until one of you beat me to the point where I can't even walk, let alone continue to fight. We're not done girls, but we will be...soon. Which is why I'm out here tonight. You see people, I spent the last four months out in Japan. But not in Tokyo or anything. I've been out in the sticks, training my ass off. Preparing for this season, and for war. Because that's what we have on our hands here, war. And there's a woman who I owe so much to. When no one else wanted to get involved, she threw herself into harms way because of her respect for me...and her hatred of my sister. That woman...is Alundra.

This give segue to the entrance theme of Alundra hitting the PA.

Alundra comes out from backstage met with the cheers of the fans as well. She and Ashley were linked in there quest to not only raise the bar of women's wrestling, but to stave off the thug tactics of The Black Diamonds, who posed the biggest threat of any group of females in wrestling to date. Alundra soon joins Ashley in the ring, and once handed a mic of her on, she makes her statement.

Ashley and I have spent the last four months as she said...preparing. Preparing for successful runs here in 2009. But also like she said, we need to tie up loose ends 1st. And those loos ends are named Michelle Marx and Helena Troy. Ladies, there's no question you both are two of the most dangerous women in wrestling. You're both ruthless. You're both devious. You're both total sadists. A match made in heaven if you ask me. But what happens when the intimidators are the ones intimidated? When the hunters become the hunted? How will you react? I guess we'll find that out tonight, won't we? The two of us are out here to issue a pair of challenges. And my challenge tonight...is against you...Helena.

The fans cheer at the prospect of Alundra Vs Helena.

You and I have a long, looooooooooooong history, Helena. Our history is older then this company. Older then most companies. And as much as I told myself after PTW that I was going to stay far, far away from you...it seems fate has other plans. I accept the fact that you and I are just destined to be enemies. Which is unfortunate for you, because I'm through being nice. The only way to get through to you is beating it into your skull. And that's what I plan on doing tonight. The message is going to be quite clear...we will not yield. You oughta' know full well that I'm a survivor. I've survived the absolute worst you could throw at me over the years. The question is can you survive what's coming to you? We're damn well going to find that out.

As Alundra speaks, Ashley nods in totally agreement. She then raises her mic upon Alundra finishing to speak out to her challenger.

That leaves you and me, Mich. We've got history ourselves, don't we? Let's take things back to 2007. The night of my 1st defense of the Diamond Title. After the match, what happens? You jump me from behind. And you and Bianca have been thorns in my side ever since. Tonight, we're not in the least going to be ending this rivalry, that won't happen until someone's carted out on a stretcher. But what I will be doing is getting me some sweet satisfaction of kicking your ass...again! They say lightning never strikes twice, well I beat you back then, and I beat you at XGamesII, which means that this will be a third strike. And the third one is going to be even sweeter then the first two, bet your big ass on that one.

Just seconds after Ashley finishes her statement, an entrance theme begins to play...

Travis: It looks like we won't have to wait long for a response to this double challenge.

The theme that plays was the new entrance theme of Michelle Marx. As she steps out from backstage, you would hardly recognize her from when last she appeared in XWA. He hair was shorter, she now sported a menacing tattoo on her left shoulder, and she was perhaps 20lbs bigger then she was in 2008. If ever there were an imposing figure in the ranks of the Diamond Division, it was without a doubt Michelle Marx. With mic in hand, she answers the call of Ashley & Alundra.

Well look at what we have here. If it's not XWA's Girl Scouts, looking for a new merit badge. I guess some things will never change, like the fact that you're both SOFT. All I hear is talk, talk, talk. Ashley, you're damn right it's not over between us. But you're wrong about how things will end. It'll be over when we've ended your damn careers. I've hated you for years. I still hate you, and I'll continue to hate you for years to come. Everyone always speaks sooooooo highly of you. "Ms. XWA". "The 1st Lady"...BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! All I see is a skinny little bitch riding the long string of luck in human history. Well bet your ass that your luck will be running out real...REAL soon. Tonight, I'm going to give you just a sneak peak of what real hell is like. You see ladies, the stakes are about to be raised here on Glitter. Not just for you, but for every chick on roster. ALL of them. This year, no one is safe. We've let all you little girls think that you were doing something long enough. This year, we put all of you bitches in your place...beneath us. And you both get to serve as being the 1st casualties. Be honored, but be happy as well, you won't be a lone for long.

Helena soon joins Michelle out on the stage.

You see, I hate to be the one to break it you you two, and the rest of Glitter...but to put it bluntly, We're taking aim at anyone and everyone with the X Chromosome. The time has come in XWA for someone to take control of things. And those someones are The Black Diamonds. Has anyone noticed the little "unions" that's started popping up late last year? *Hmmph* Pretenders to OUR throne. You see girls, we're the 1st, and we're also the best. A fact that we plan on putting on display by making examples of you two tonight. And when we do, it'll serve as a reminder to all of XWA's ladies that no one, and as Michelle stated...no one...is safe. Everyone wants to either be lil' Ms. Good Girl, Ms. Tough Girl or Ms. Bitch. Pretty much the whole female wrestling spectrum. Whereas us? We're just good at what we do. And what we do...is hurt people. And when all is said and done, there's going to be a lot of hurt ladies in XWA. Be it their physical well being or their fragile little egos. But before we put the rest of the cows out to pasture, we deal with you two.

Alundra, if we're sadists, you must be the mother of all Masochists. Do you not remember what hell I've put you through? The barbed wire. The throwing you off of stages. The night I nearly ended your career? What the hell makes you think just because we're in another company that I won't do even more "fun" things? There are a lot of so called "Bad Girls" in XWA. But you know damn well that none of them even hold a candle to how bad I can be. Up to this point, I've been rated T for Teen. But from tonight on, I go back to being AO. Don't worry about getting me at my best. You'll be getting me at my positively WORST. You need reminding why I'm the most dangerous woman on the planet. And Ashley, my dear...dear baby sister...when I'm done with her, I'll be happy to show you the same. Or a least whatever's left of you after Michelle has her fun.

Ashley responds.

That's exactly what we wanted. We want you both to bring those mean streaks. Bring every vile, ruthless, underhanded trick you have. Because we're going to match that, and BEAT it. One way or another, someone's getting tough a lesson tonight. And the lesson is how to take an ass kicking. Michelle, I hope you've got some ice packs backstage, because when I'm done with you, you're going to hurt in places you never thought you could.

She waits for the next response.

That response would come from Helena.

Well look who all of a sudden has some bass in her voice? If I didn't know better, I'd say you were just a little upset. To quote a popular character..."Why so serious?" **Heh heh** On second thought, I think I already know the answer. Because you've finally realized the gravity of the situation. You've realized that The Black Diamonds in 2009 will not just be THE most dominant group of women in XWA, but in wrestling...period. We're legends in the making, and you know it. And our legend will come at the expense of you, Alundra and any other chick who decides they want step into our crosshairs. But don't get me wrong. We're not declaring war on the rest of The Diamond Division. Oh noooooooo...not by any stretch of the imagination is this going to be a war, dear Sister.
















It's going to be a GENOCIDE. We plan on getting a looooooot of blood on our hands. There's a very...very violent storm about to blow through Glitter. And I whole heartily doubt any of you have the stomachs to whether it. Ladies, good luck. You're certainly going to need it.

With that, Helena's theme begins to play. She gives a satisfied glance to Michelle, who returns the gesture with a nod. Both women give a final gaze to Ashley & Alundra in the ring before taking leave of the stage.

A final shot of Ashley & Alundra is seen. Ashley turns to Alundra and says something off mic. She responds with a nod, and both women begin to exit the ring. Glitter then cuts to it's next scheduled segment.
