The new XWA season had finally arrived, and with that meant a whole new season of the XWA's all-girl wrestling show, Glitter. Live from Nassau Coliseum as the other shows were as well this week, the opening theme blasts as the set in showered by fireworks.

Rose: XWA Year Three continues it's premiere week tonight from Nassua Coliseum with Glitter, the home of the XWA Diamonds! It's Travis Rose and Lucy Black here with you at ringside for what we're sure is going to be another action packed season.

Lucy: The wait is finally over now. Listen to these fans Rosey! They can't wait for things to get started here, and I can't either!

Soon, the music fades, and a new tune picks up in it's place. It's the sounds of a track called "Burn" by Sister Machine Gun. Out to this song walks the one and only Sonya Robbins to a raucous ovation.

Rose: For those who prefer redheads, it looks like this is your night! Here comes the "pitbull" as was described of Ms. Sonya Robbins by the current Pearl Champion, and I have to say that she's looking as ravishing as ever.

Lucy: I predict big things for this woman in 2009. If she continues the pace she set last year, Sonya's going to be serious trouble for every Diamond title there is!

Sonya stepped out to the ring already dressed for action, a sure sign that she was not out here just to greet the fans as she made her way to the ring, even if that's what she was doing as she walked down the ramp. There was business on her mind right now, serious business at that.

A mic waited at the stairs as she walked them up to the ring apron and stepped inside the squared circle for her first 2009 appearance. She smiles as she waves to the thousands of XWA faithful in the arena as her song fades to silence.

I've gotta tell you guys out here that it's feels oh so good to be back here in an XWA ring. I speak for most of the XWA roster when I say that we're all as excited about being back in business tonight as you are!

As you all can plainly see, I'm already ready to go to work tonight, and the reason for that is because I know the person who I have my sights set on tonight is a woman who you don't have to ask twice about whether or not she's ready to get it on. 2009 is the year that I plan on turning things up a notch, and the first step to that goal is by facing the best of the best.

Lucy: She sounds focused.

I told this to a couple of people the past few weeks, and they all said that I must either be really confident or really crazy to think that I can stand a chance against this lady. I guess we'll all just have to see for ourselves now, won't we?

Around the campfire people are calling me a "pitbull" nowadays. Well then, if I'm canine its only natural that I want to scrap against a feline...one of the "HellCat" variety more specifically.

That little clue got a rise out of the fans.

Rose: Hellcat? Does she mean...

So, I know you're back there watching Ms. Hayley Jonas. I'm challenging you to a match here tonight on the Glitter season premiere!

Lucy: Well, she's right about one thing...she is either crazy or confident starting off the year by calling out Hayley Jonas. The Hellcat's the woman that it seemed nobody wanted a piece of last year, not that I can blame them.

Rose: It's certainly a gutsy move, that's for sure...

The challenge made, Sonya now stood and awaited Hayley's arrival.

A heavy guitar riff suddenly kicks into the speakers. This was the start to Hayley new entrance theme "Breaking Out". The fans get to their feet as the rough & tumble blonde bombshell steps out onto the new Glitter set.

Rose: Hayley Jonas will tell you in a heartbeat that she's one tough bitch, and that's her own words!

Lucy: You wouldn't find a person in the world that would disagree with that either.

Her hair was straightened out. Her arms were now totally covered in tattoos. You could not mistake the fact that this was still the same woman, but there were little differences now that seemed to accentuate the fact that she was not a woman to be messed with.

After high fiving the fans after walking down the ramp, she quickly jumped up to the apron and into the ring. A crew member through the ropes handed her a microphone, and now she was eye to eye with one fiery redhead.

Now, in case any of you forgot, I said last year that I was going to put the Diamond Division on blast because I believe that certain women in this company are "picking their battles". I had a feeling that you weren't one of them Sonya, and tonight you just proved that.

I've been checking you out in the ring ever since you got here, and I have to tell you that I like what I see. You're tough. You give 110% every time out and you don't believe in going soft or easy on anybody.

That kind of reminds me of...me!

The crowd cheers on as she paused for a brief moment.

Rose: She forgot to mention the fact the both of them are probably the best strikers in the entire Diamond Division.

I know I have a reputation of being a little intense...well...a lot intense, and that the little girls backstage, and they know who they are, are scared of wrestling me. Well, what some people need to figure out real fast is that this isn't ballet and it sure as hell ain't Access Hollywood! I don't care about the next girl's bust size or waist size or who she's sleeping with. All I care about is stepping into this ring and giving all of these XWA fans what they paid to see...

...clean old fashioned AGGRESSION!!!

That got a decent pop from the Long Island crowd.

Somehow, some way, I think that you know exactly what I'm talking about. That's the reason why of all the people you could have chosen to challenge, you chose me. Because you don't want the easy way out. Because you want to crank up the volume right from the get-go, is that it?

As she figured it would have been, Hayley was amped up. Sonya nodded before her response.

That's exactly right, Hayley. I might have the looks and all, but I've never let that be what people judge me by. Yes, I know I look good, but if I wanted to rely just on my good looks, I would have became a model and not a wrestler.

I'm here for the competition! I'm here for the bumps and bruises, the cuts and scrapes and the physicality of being in this ring, fighting for what I want with everything I've got!

You're right about another thing too Hayley. I don't want it easy. I want to earn every little bit I get here in the XWA, just like how I earned the Pearl Title last year by defeating Jamie Fury. Nobody is going to doubt for a second that I didn't spill my soul out onto this canvas to get that win against that woman, and that's what I want out of every match I wrestle in.

So you see Hayley, it had to be you who I challenged first and foremost, because you more than any other woman in this company, maybe even any company, fight like you hate your opponent. If I can handle that, then I can handle anything!

Hayley was liking the attitude on Sonya. She talked as if she knew exactly what she was after, and what that was obviously was to put herself to the test and grow into something bigger than she was right now. It really did remind her of herself when she first started in the business not too long ago.

Well...I guess all that we can do now is see later tonight whether or not you actually CAN handle it. You've got yourself a match!

Hayley drops her mic as her theme begins to play once again. She slides back out of the ring and backpedals up the ramp, nodding in anticipation as she gives Sonya one final glance.


Rose: Well, that was short and sweet wasn't it? Just like that we have ourselves Hayley Vs. Sonya tonight!

Lucy: Honestly, I think these two are being really modest right now. Once the bell sounds on this one, you're going to see two of the most aggressive women in wrestling today try to kill each other!

Rose: Yeah...ain't it cool?
