It was a lovely midday in Beverly Hills and Channelle was out and about along her favorite strip of California land. After some shopping, she was now at an outdoor cafe waiting for the arrival of two individuals she's become more acquainted over the last few months. They said they had themselves an offer for her, but what could it have been?
Hmph...of all the places they could have gone to? Why do we have to go all the way back to cold, dirty New York City for the start of the 2009 season? Ugh...I've got to convince them to move their headquarters out here.
That was her response to an email just sent to her by her agent about XWA's apparent preparations for the new season's first month. Channelle sat her Blackberry down and picked up a menu, browsing through what might be good for brunch. As she raised her head up, she saw a waiter leading her guests to the table and she smiles feintly.

Jenna was the first to greet Channelle as she rose from her seat. They gave each other one of those cute kisses on each other's opposite cheek. Baby smiled back at her newfound friend and they both took a seat.
Hey there Channelle. So, how did you ever find a place like this? No paparazzi, no nothing! It's actually kind of nice. |

What can I tell you, I've got connections, Baby. Lots of them. What's taking Robby so long to get his ass over here?
Together, they both looked over to the entrance, and Robby was doing what he usually does in public, check out other girls. Channelle shook her head.
That's quite an appetite he's got, doesn't he? I don't know how you manage to keep him in check.

Oh, he knows who his leading lady, no question about that. I do things that no other woman in the world would dream of...no offense to you of course.  Baby's grin was both sly and naughty.
Well, since he's obviously occupied, I guess that means that I'm going to be the one to tell you why we wanted to meet with you today. We're looking to beef up Viewer Discretion in 2009 you see, and it was an obvious choice to me that you and I could be the female contingent.
I don't know how it was working out for you with those other two girls you tried to work with, but with me, well...you know how I roll. |

Channelle thought back briefly to those "other two" she associated with in 2008, and how they all but disappeared in the shadow of her success. Then she reminisced even further back to her one-time and longtime tag partner Jersey Redd and how an injury all but finished her career.
Well now, I have to warn you Baby...I'm a tough girl to keep up with. I know we hooked up at XGAMES last year, but if you really want to team up with me, you're going to have to hold up your own end.
Somehow, she knew that Baby was more than capable of that...but she had to hear it from Jenna's own lips first.

Oh I'm the last person you're going to have to worry about lagging behind, Chan. I've got some things to prove myself...it's just good business hooking up with a woman who's already at the top of her game though.
Normally Jenna isn't one to compliment others (herself is another story), but there was that respect she had for a girl like Channelle.
You'd be perfect! You've already got that Viewer Discretion kind of attitude, it's practically in your blood! The way I see it, it's a win-win for the both of us. You get backup that you can actually trust, and VD's star power goes right through the roof! I know you don't want anyone to take away that spotlight you've earned for yourself Channelle. With my help, with our help...we'll have the spotlight all to ourselves. |

Alright, alright Baby! You don't have to say anymore...
Channelle grinned a little at Jenna's determination to convince her. She was already sold on the idea, and pretty confident that she was making as Baby said herself "good business".
I'm in, girl. This is going to be pretty fun...for us that is. Hee Hee...I know just who might be a good target for us come the start of the season too. I know you want to get some payback on a couple of ladies in particular, don't you?

Both ladies smiled, as it looked as if the deal was done...or was it because of some devilish plans that each of them were already beginning to conjure up? Only time would tell, but as whatever was on Channelle's mind simmered in, she began to think about something else, that being Robby himself.
I was just thinking about something Baby...what about Robby? If you're beefing up VD, then I would imagine that's going to mean he's going to need some more manpower, if you get my drift.

Jenna's smile grew even bigger after Channelle asked that question.
Funny you should mention that, because we've already got that covered. Not only is Breaker getting back into the mix, but we just finished talking about bringing someone else in the family. Well, we've known him for a while, but he's been touring Canada the last year.
Finally convinced him that he's wasting his time in the indies. If you want real competition, you've got to join a big league...and who's bigger than XWA right now? Hmm Hmm... |

Channelle tapped a finger to her chin now, thinking of the totality of the situation.
So, in closing...Viewer Discretion is now going to be 5 people strong this year? That's a nice, big number. I'm starting to feel good about the chances to make some more noise. You know how the saying goes, "Separate you're good, together you're great."
So, when will I meet the rest of the group...like Robby for instance. You really need to get him over here, look at him! Those girls over there are practically throwing themselves at the man!
Whatever it is that you're doing to keep him in your bed must be some really good stuff. I want to ask for details, but I'm scared we might get arrested for talking about it.

Jenna looked over her shoulder, and there was Robby reclining at another table as a couple of girls were feeding him their own lunch. She wondered to herself just how he was able to get women to just fawn over him like that.
He must have some kind of pheromone in his cologne or something. Oh well, let him have his fun. Meanwhile, I think I will tell you my secrets to keeping a playboy coming back for more...
The two women ordered, then talked it up about what exactly they were going to do for 2009...amongst other things. This was going to be a very interesting partnership for sure.
