Following his release from the hospital after having knee surgery. Brandon Payne officially released the following comments. Regarding his recent surgery, the fans, possible 'invaders', the awards ceremony,and his plans for the upcoming season on his website:

Wuts up my fellow 'Elites'. Even after X-Games II. Its nice to hear that some of you idiot fans STILL worship the ground I walk on. Everything from the dirt sheets, radio shows, Various TV News Outlets, other wrestling organization. Hell, even the folks at CNN & ESPN had to drop my name a few times for a free 'ratings boost' as I refer to it as. All I gotta say is keep doing it, because the free publicity always helps. The more my name gets dropped, the more money I make and this company makes. So keep it up, your all doing a great job of making me look good each and every day .

Anyways, on to bigger and better things. I'd like to say that my surgery was indeed a success. My knee is still a little sore, but all in all. I'm doing just fine. Luckily, no brace will be needed for me to wrestle. Which is a good thing I suppose (laughs).

And to all those fans who sent me get well cards and what have you ? Please.. don't bother cluttering my mailbox with such foolishness. I've got more important things that need to go in my mailbox. Like movie offers, business deals, bills, etc, etc. Ya know, the things that truly matter to me most. Cause you see, I don't mind the sympathy. But in the end, you don't matter to me.

I've been hearing some talk about this 'invasion'. Some half-ass organization that wants to attempt to come into our house and destroy what myself and countless others have built over the last couple of years. All I gotta say to that is, I don't know who you guys are, and I don't really care. Just know that if you get in my way. I won't hesitate for a second to rip each and everyone of yours arms off, and beat you straight to hell with em'. So my advice is you better think twice about what your doing. Because once the war begins, XWA will destroy you limb from limb, no pun intended.

Speaking of the company. We had an Awards Ceremony here recently. For it be my first awards ceremony to be apart of. I felt the show went really well. Alot of things were going on at the event. Hell, even yours truly walked away with a couple of awards. Not too shabby for a comeback year, eh . I even had a brief confrontation with my fellow co-winner for Biggest Mouth of the Year, Robby Sylk. Gotta say that was pretty fun, and Robby ? If you read this, anytime anyplace pal. Wanna go face-to-face, toe-to-toe with the best of the best one more time !? I'm not too hard to find, bro.

What are my plans for the upcoming year ? Well, looking back on 2008. I viewed that as a Comeback year for me. More of me setting the wrongs things right type of deal. And I gotta say that 2008 was a very successful year for Brandon Payne. You can bet your ass that 2009 is gonna even better. I'm like Evolution, I evolve and get better over time. In 09, I'm gonna continue fighting and working my ass off to become World Heavyweight Champion.

And this time, without those morons sitting in the stands holding me back. The road should be much much easier. I don't care if your an XWA guy or an 'invader'. You get in my way and I'm taking you out. You mess with me, you mess with the best bro's and hoe's.

The same "voice" that fired back in Kayn's most recent blog posting also had a response to the words of one Brandon Payne.

"Brandon Payne. A man with a serious case of an identity crisis. Here we have a man who has no idea what he wants to be in his life. Maybe a few years ago it was quite clear, oh Mr. Former "King of Controversy". I'll give you one bit of credit there, at least in the "dark days" you were consistent.

Now we fast forward to this day and age, and what I see from these words is a man who has no kind of direction. Let me get this straight, you want to hate the fans, but stand by your "company"? Honestly, I don't think I've ever heard something so...um...complex.

You see Brandon, when you're out for yourself, you are out for yourself. You do what you want regardless of the reaction...or the consequence. Sounds to me like you're a little scared of the latter because, really now...where else would Brandon Payne be if he wasn't in the XWA? Haven't you already tried the "other places" only to see the grass isn't always greener on the other side? Now answer me this...what in the hell makes you think XWA is any different?

The only reason you're even still in anyone's memory bank, let alone an "Xtraordinaire" of all things, is because last year you played the role of "Company Guy". You kiss all the right asses, you got into all the right matches and you said all the right things...all the things that would make everyone suddenly respect you again. I'll give you credit, it worked beautifully...a testament to just how goddamn gullible your employers are.

So now, the checks are a little bigger, the respect is back and you don't want any of that jeopardized by someone coming along and burning the son of a bitch to the ground. You know, I take back what I said about you not being in it for yourself...because without the XWA, you're just another "great one" who's out of a job.

If that's not self preservation, I don't know what is. Problem with that though, is that nothing you say or do is going to stop the storm.

*A Few Days Later*

Coming in to his home after a hard day's work in the gym. Brandon goes to his desk and checks his website. Only to find this individual, referring to himself as "The Pure One". Leaving a reply on his message board regarding Payne's earlier statements given several days ago.

Payne let out a quick chuckle as he read over the message left by this seemingly annoying individual. At first, Payne wasn't even going to bother responding to this. But, why not ? Payne is never one to back down from anybody, especially this creep.

Well, Well, Well. Looks like I have a 'stalker' of my own. Not sure who you are Pure One, and I don't really care. But it seems to me after reading your message and hearing about another one left on Kayn's website that you are looking for a fight ? So be it then. If thats what you want, your going to get it.

Judging my your message. Either your somebody from my past, or a new kid on the block who's done his research on me from Google, Wikipedia, or one of those other sites. Either way it goes. I'm glad to hear I have a new 'fan'. It warms my heart.. it really does.

Just like you, my other fans are idiots also. So what can I say other then join the club. As for my so called 'identity crisis' as you put it. I know damn good & well who I am and what I represent. I am Brandon Payne... a.k.a 'The Elite'... and along with guys like Kayn, XXL, O'Dell, Punch, Diamond, etc, etc. I represent this organization. The very company that you and your other buddies who wanna come in to our house and "attempt" to destroy what we've ALL helped built from day one. All I can say is, keep dreamin' buddy. Its not going to happen.

As for my past that you just had to bring up. What can I say other then I'm human just like everyone else. We all make mistakes, make bad decisions. That's life. I moved on, and so have others. I built myself a new legacy, and I'm not going to let that be tainted by idiots like you who do nothing put tear down anyone who has the slightest amount of success. I've seen your kind all before, and they've all been dealt with one way or the other.

There's nothing really 'complex' about it. Its quite simple really. I don't need the fans to kick your ass all over the arena. Cause you can, you can be a 'company guy' and defend this organization while at the same time standing by what you need to do in order to succeed. And if that means cutting off all ties with my fans, so be it.

Bottom line, I'm going to give you and those other fools an opportunity to put up or shut up. At March Madness 2009. How about you show yourself. Come out to the pay-per-view and face me in the ring ? That is, if your not too scared to show your ugly mug to the world. Lets just say you've spiked my interest in wanting to see you myself. Just to see who you are. Whether your some nobody or perhaps someone that already know. Either way it goes, whether you show your face or not. Brandon Payne and the XWA will continue to dominant the wrestling world as you know it.

Now.. can YOU deal with that ?
