As TakeDown returns from a commercial break, we hear from the 2 commentators...

Roach: We're back live from the sold out Madison Square Garden in New York City for more of the premeire of XWA Takedown! Mike Roach hear with the incomparable Buzz Berman...

Suddenly, the lights go green and "Battle of One" by 30 Seconds To Mars begins to play over the PA.

BuZZ: Oh...what's this? Another grand entrance? How many of these can we take in one night?

Roach: This night marks the beginning of many professional careers, or at least in the spotlight of an organization such as the XWA...

Out to the stage walks Jon Payne, to a rauccous roar from the MSG crowd.

Roach: Oh man...we know who that is though, don't we? It's Jon...freakin'...Payne!!!

BuZZ: Well...I guess the rumors of him making his way back to New York to sign with the XWA are 100% true isn't it? Listen to these fans!!!

Payne, wearing a new "ABT" T-Shirt makes his way to the ring, high-fiving with fans as he does. He finally steps into the ring, and the music fades as he's handed a mic.

[glow=limegreen,2,300]February 18th, 2007. This is the day that will live on sports entertainment history as the birth of the FUTURE of pro wrestling! This is the X...W...A!!![/glow]

The fans chant the call letters of the new league, then he continues.

[glow=limegreen,2,300]This is also the day that a new era is born in this business. No more of the whining and moaning...no more of "politics as usual". No more more hidden agendas, no more tucking tail, no more of the BS that brought down one promotion after the other. This is REAL. This is FOR REAL...and you better be damn sure that as long as I stand in this ring, I'm going to see to it, that the XWA is the best damn wrestling promotion, period!

That's exactly why I anulled my contract up in Toronto. With all due respect to the ladies up there, they're operation is the same old, same old. Same faces, different places. I knew that the ONLY way to possibly push things forward was to step into a NEW arena. That's when the XWA came calling, and now here I am. I'm not alone though...for those of you who've been keeping track, you probably know that I brought a few friends along. Let's bring 'em out now...Xander Xavier Luther and "The HellCat" Hayley Jonas!!![/glow]

The crowd roars again as he lowers his mic and awaits their arrival...

Hayley's new theme "Are You Gonna Go My Way" begins to blast over the PA system now, and the fans go nuts as she steps out on stage side by side with XXL.

Roach: The HellCat is unleashed here in XWA!!! And look who she's got with her!

BuZZ: Oh my...something about hot chicks who can kick your ass, ain't there, bro? Big XXL ain't no slouch either. It's been well documented their on and off relationship, I'm guessing that it's on again now?

Roach: From the look of it...I think so. She's a former Tag Team Champion, and later on tonight...she has a chance to become XWA's first Diamond Champion, the first singles title of her career!

BuZZ: There's gonna 5 other ladies out there though who're gonna be gunning for that belt too, Hayley is probaly the favorite in my eye...this'll be the first time we see ANY of the other Combatants on national TV so we don't know WHAT they can do. Hayley though...different story. Great balls of fire, baby...awwoooooooooh!!!

She steps into the ring and Jon hands her the mic to speak.

[glow=red,2,300]WASSSSSUP NEW YORK CITTTTAAAYYY!!![/glow]

The fans begin to chant "Hayley! Hayley! Hayley!"

[glow=red,2,300]You know what? I have to say to you all, that New York has become a second home to me, really. You guys ROCK! When Jonny gave me the call about XWA, I was thinking to myself...what's gonna make this any different from the rest of the pack? Looking at the level of competition we have here right now, I see that it really IS different.

I'm stepping into the ring tonight against 5 other women who could probably kick the crap out of ANY of those has-beens and wannabes out there...and I KNOW for damn sure that I can do just that. One of us is going to walk out tonight as the Diamond Champion...the BIGGEST prize in female wrestling today, because it's not going to be a novelty thing like other places. Not on my watch...your girl Hayley is going to ELEVATE THE GAME!!![/glow]

She winks at Jon and hands XXL the mic now.

[Xander Xavier Luther]

XXL stands in the ring, wearing an ABT shirt himself he takes a look around at the crowd. He nods. The cheers are almost deafening.

Roach: Luther is a former champion himself, folks...a blue chipper to say the least.

Yo...

What you see right here and right now...is the FUTURE. You see "The Next Evolution" Jon Payne, "The HellCat" Hayley Jonas, and Xander...Xavier...Luther. Like Jon said before, this is FOR REAL, and so are we. This isn't about who makes the most money, or who has the most wins or championships.

This is about doing it right. See everywhere else I've been, I seen how it's been done WRONG. I seen guys roll in like they run the place, thinking that they're the best thing to happen since sliced bread. Thinking that they have "privledges" cuz of what they did in the past.

We're not having that. Take all that you know about the three of us right now...and toss it. It all starts right here, right now, in the XWA. This as Rakim said, is how it SHOULD be done. Wiping the slate clean and painting a new masterpiece, and yes people, it's going to be another Mona Lisa when it's all said and done.

It's all about the future. The time for talking about it is officially over, now it's all about making it happen, and we're doing just that.

Walking over to Jon, he points at the new shirt he's wearing.

See that ABT right there? Right here? It stands for A BETTER TOMMORROW. That day has come, that place is XWA, and we're the ones who're going to lead the way. Remember that!

As Xander finishes speaking, the PA kicks in somebody's theme music...

[seifer]

"We Have Explosive" begins to play...and the half brither tandem of Seifer Gryphon and Sion Leonalt, known as The Lost Boyz step onto the stage. Both of them have mics, but Seifer responds first with a simple applause.

*CLAP*CLAP*CLAP*

Great speeches there. Really...I mean, you got me so inspired that I just want to jump on right behind and let you "lead the way". What a croc.

Let's get one thing straight. We might indeed have respect for what you've done...and for what you THINK you're going to do...but the three of you are not going to be leading anything here in the XWA. See, the top of the mountain is fairgame, and The Lost Boyz are going to claim it for ourselves. Contrary to what you might think, Mr. Payne...this is OUR WORLD NOW.

Sion adds to his brothers words...

We completely agree with everything that you guys are saying, right up until the whole "leading" thing, yeah...

It is "A New Day" like all the signage hanging around here and all over town advertising XWA, and therefore, there's going to be some new blood...a "New Breed" if you will...holdin' it down, and you're looking at them right here. Now...we're out here to issue a challenge to you Jon Payne, and you XXL...for a tag team match, right here tonight in the Big Apple!

Jon takes the mic from Xander and replies...

We're not going to just say we're leading the way. We're going to lead by EXAMPLE. Here's the first example for ya'...tonight, you're on...[/glow]

Yeah...all of us against all of YOU. You wanna step into the spotlight, be ready to show and prove. Hell, the fact that you're out here says something, tonight though, it's your actions that's gonna speak louder.

Roach: These two rookies, The Lost Boyz, Seifer and Sion...they know how to make an entrance, don't they?

BuZZ: Well, XXL is right on both fronts though...this is every bit as much "show and prove" time for him and Payne as it is for TLB...

Seifer smirks.

Oh, believe me...you're going to get as much action as you THINK you can handle and then some. The only thing left now to say is...

As they walk down the halls back their locker room, Sion says...

You could only hope it's going to be that simple. Don't start getting cocky on me. Put your game face on, this won't be an easy ride underground. We're gonna have to get serious if we want to get ahead...
