{The scene is an old, dilapidated church, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The moonlight shined within the decaying stain glassed windows, and the enigmatic man known only as "Khryst" stands what was left of an old altar. His rasping, chilling voice begins to speak out.}
What is good and evil? Let's...and think about that question, my children. Ponder it. What makes a man...or woman for that matter...good or evil. I submit for my 1st example...
And image is slowly projected behind him.
Adolph Hitler. A man directly responsible for the deaths of millions. Millions. It was because of the actions he set it motion that the world again went to war. His brutality ended bloodlines. Entire families were wiped from the face of this world during his reign of terror. Countless men lost their lives trying to stop him. But let's take a more object look at Mr. Hitler. Let's see for one split second the truth behind his madness. Why...why did he plant the seeds and grow the nation of Nazi Germany? He certainly didn't do it because he wanted to. He did it because...he had to. Hitler grew up a Polish and German child. He served in the German Army during WWI. And it was from the that, the he came to terms that a change needed to be made for Germany to survive. So he rose to power, eliminated all opposition, and his nation was born. His means were cruel, yes. But his intentions. To build a stronger nation...is that not a just cause?
You see, my children. Adolph Hitler is no different then say, America's new President Barack Obama. He too, sees a nation in need of change. So is it because his means are of that of optimism and hope as opposed to cruelty and force that he's just, and Hitler unjust? Of course you say yes. But that's why you children have fallen so far from his grace. The brutal truth is as simple as it is complex.
There IS no such thing as good and evil.
The image of Hitler fades...
Who determines what is right and wrong, hmm? Ponder that. In the days of yore, it was the Kings & Queens. The Emperors. The Rulers of lands and civilizations who dictated to the masses what was law, and what was against it. And in these times, it's the politicians and the media who do it. They pump your brains full of such visceral images of despair and condemn them as wrong. But are they? Does a man who kills his wife not have that right if he sees that it was his last option? If you had the chance to embezzle billions of dollars from your company with little chance for repercussions, would you not take it? If you had to think more then three seconds to answer those questions, you're no better the Mr. Hitler. The answer to who determines what's right and wrong? Those who are in power do. Because what they say is law. And any who defy that law, are punished.
So the real question isn't what is good and evil. The true question is are you powerful...or are you weak? It shouldn't take long to determine which you are. Because no matter what power you have, you're still weak. Weak because you live your lives striving to reach what can't be attained by being just. The honest, hard working men and women of this world. You live your lives trying to reach your goals. Your dreams. And when they seem so close, you see that they're so far away still. So you press on. I don't live by that life. Not anymore. I've freed myself from the burden of good and evil. I simply...am. With no consequence or folly in my actions. That...is true power.
Ponder that, my children.
{As his ominous, bloody curdling laugh fills the dank, halls of the church, the screen flashes and flickers before going completely black.}
