Before he says anything in the mic, he whispers into Sonya's ear... You shoulda let me bring that belt here...  They share a grin with each other, and then Syrus turns to that mic, those cameras, and thousands of fans who're now cheering on the new World's Champion. He shrugs his shoulders as if to say "who knew?" and follows up. When 2008 started, I was just another squirrel trying to get a nut. I won three in a row against Magnus Von Schwartz (crowd boos) and was hand picked to go up against Ethan Bain (crowd cheers) for the World Title. I was on cloud nine then, but then the night of the match came and I didn't do so hot. EB caught Rampage mode on me, and that was that.
If you'da told me after that night that by the end of the season I'd have won Soul Survivor by beating Jon Payne, won The Last Dance and the World Title by beating Scott O'Dell AND found me one hot mamacita in my lady Sonya right here, I'd have smacked ya one time and said "are you trippin'?"
But that's right where I am tonight, boy...top of the world!STE holds the award up high for all to see. Now, I'm looking out here, and I'm seeing all kinds of faces...eyes on the prize right now, and that happens to be what I've got sitting in the crib on a mantlepiece, the XWAWorld Title. Yeah, I'm on top now...and I know that there's plenty of you cats in this audience who want to be there. Climbing the mountain ain't nowhere near as tough as staying up there...He turns and looks back at Sonya's emerald eyes.
...but as long as this lady's got my back, and all of you fans have by back as well...like the song says..."AIN'T NO STOPPING US NIAAAAAAAW!!!"
Now, because the marketing team would have a fit if I don't say this...

That got the crowd nice and amped up. STE once again holds up the award as now he and Sonya arm in arm are led backstage and back to their seats. |

Mmm Hmm...She replied, cuddling up close to her man. After a whole lot of "catching up", they were finally out and about in public once again. She looked on at this year's winners and saw that "spark" in their eyes as they walked off the stage. It reminded her a lot of Keith and herself.
They look happy together, too. Bet they'll be really happy after the show. I did call Sonya up a couple of days ago and tell her how she could um, "christen" that World Title. Wonder if she did it?

...and who says they'll be the only ones happy after the show  Keith had every intention of celebrating even if they left empty handed...

Alex slid in the show not too long after the show started and found a seat next to a hot blonde walking over to her he speaks up....

Okay moving right along here, the next award goes to the XWA's Loose Screw. It's the award for the person who's the most out of their mind. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean that the winners are nutjobs in the technically term. It could mean simply, as was the case with one winner, that they put themselves in some situations that make them seem like their insane in the brain.
That being said, this is the first of many awards tonight where we will have multiple recipients! The two winners...one, well...wins this for the second straight year. If he wins it again in 2009 we might as well name it after him.
The other wins it because not only was he crazy enough to go after that very man at XGAMES2, but started off the year going after of all the people in the world Dru Nedermeyer.
Yeah, I know...he's crazy.
Gentlemen, come on down! And as a bonus, we have tailors in the back who'll fit you for custom straightjackets.

Hearing a familiar voice, Stacie looks up and sees Keith's younger brother Alex. He may not exactly remember her but she knew who he was . Before Amber was lucky enough to get Keith, Stacie a small tryst with him back when they wrestled for the same indy company in Florida. While it didn't last long, they never clicked as a couple, she did get to meet some of his family including Alex. Smiling up at him, Stacie asks him.
" No, actually it's quite empty. You don't remember me do you Alex? " |

Well, doesn't that go without saying? I think my "idea" should be a ritual for every new World Champion who happens to have a super sexy girlfriend, though. Makes it that much more "special".

Oh boy, this is going to be interesting. Hearing her earlier words, Keith takes her hand, the one he was holding and kisses it
and I don't know if that should be the norm babe...I mean most guys around here aren't so good with the game so to speak ;D |

Sonya and Syrus meanwhile was led back to their seats, and as she walked back up the aisle Sonya found Amber Gianni sitting by her man Keith Wyle. She did remember a certain phone conversation between them and an interesting idea regarding a bed and a belt that Amber insisted she try with STE.
She gives Amber a happy little as they passed the row they sat in.

Running her hands through her long blonde hair, she asks him.

That's why I said "if" they have a girl, silly!Giving Keith a friendly tap on the shoulder, she smiles. If not, we have a term for them. S.O.L. At least they'd be champion though, right? As they chat, Sonya and Syrus walk past and Sonya gave Amber a friendly wink. She must've used her idea after all. She grins her devious grin and makes the "telephone" signal with her hand. You better believe she wanted details. |
