Val smiled and simply replied "Italian-American charm my friend." Val liked to believe he was a smooth talker but Cassie probably liked him because he was drop dead gorgeous and the only way he screw that up was by being a jerk, which he wasn't so he didn't need to worry himself. Val checked out Cassie again before turning to Romeo to listen to what he had to say.

Jimmy just laughed to himself, putting his hand over his face as he thought:
Jimmy: Oh my god.. who does this Val think he is ? I bet anything the only reason Cassie 'wants him' is because she knows she could take advantage of him. He may think he's a smooth talker. But when it comes down to it. He seems dumber then a bag of hammers. But maybe that's me. Guess its not right for me to judge him immediately seeing as how we only just met.
Jimmy finished off his cup of coffee as that thought ran through his head. He had to keep his eye on Val, and the others. They could pose a threat to him in the future. Best to just play it cool until one of them starts acting suspicious. Perhaps Jimmy is just being paranoid, but he has a hard time trusting people nowadays.

Val glanced at Jimmy he had been rather quiet for a while and maybe it was because in the ring he was different but he wasn't the silent type. Who knows but Val felt some uneasiness between them, maybe Jimmy wanted to ask Cassie out and he was joking about sweeping her up if Val fumbled. Who knows. "Jimmy is something wrong?" Val asked.
Meanwhile Cassie had served them and was taking a break, the room wasn't very big and it doubled as an office, security room etc. Cassie looked at them "Wrestlers? Maybe I shouldn't have gave him my number." Cassie said to herself before sighing. Looking at the monitor she watched as the group laughed and joked. "CASSIE!!! YOU GAVE YOUR NUMBER TO A CUSTOMER!!!" her boss shouted after overhearing her. "Well..." Cassie started only to be cut off, "I warned you I don't tolerate that, you're fired!" Her now former boss said.
Back in the cafe's dining area, Val watches as a tearful Cassie runs past them. "Huh, what's wrong?" Val said as he was puzzled as to the reason of her tearful exit. Then it becomes apparent as the owner of the cafe came over to Val, "You, you are the one she gave her number too?" he asked. "Yeah." Val replied. The boss looked at him and then says "I think you should leave you are not welcome here, GET OUT!!!" Val turns to walk away, "I guess I'll see you guys around XWA, stay safe guys." Val said to the guys before leaving he was staying remarkably calm about the whole thing at least on the surface.

As Val is heading out of the door, he is stopped momentarily by two young wrestlers entering at the same time, blocking his way. The pair appear to be in a heated argument about weather or not to 'make a go of things' with that XWA wrestling outfit...
"Look man, I don't know. We've only been training for one year, we're both still very green. I don't think we can stand together with some of the guys they have here. We don't even know if we want to be a tag team yet."
"You know... I never thought I'd say this to you about wrestling. I never thought I'd be saying this to you when we finally had the opportunity, as the chosen two, to represent our stomping grounds here in XWA. I think you're just scared of all this. Bro, this isn't the wrestling industry that saw the owner of our stomping grounds walking around as World Champion. Hell there isn't many guys from that era who're actively competing on a week-to-week basis anymore. They're around, they pop in for a storyline or two, but mostly they're on the backburner whilst fresher acts tried out, and catch on."
"You're just saying all that because you have a somewhat marketable name to use. You could use that name to run off into different personas and stuff later."
"You'll find a hook, don't worry. Besides, I like your stage name. It's got a sortof 'indy' feel to it... Hey look, we're blocking this dude's exit. Sorry man..."

Dynamite suddenly sat upright as the commotion erupted around them. He watched Cassie and Val leave, then rasied his eyebrows at Romeo Davis and Jimmy Vain,
Well... That's a turn up for the books, just as i was getting settled in...
Dynamite looked around the restaurant at the guests and staff, all of whem were turning, less than friendly glances at the group,
Aaaaand i think we might have outstayed our welcome here...Shame!
He approaches the manager...
Yo, can i pay for my coffee? Will you be picking up the tab for your friend? [laughs] hell no! You kicked him out, you pick up his tab...
Dynamite looks to the others to see if they're going to respond...

Jimmy: *Sighs* Val just can't catch a break today it seems.
Jimmy takes one last sip of his coffee, then stands up from his seat:
Jimmy: Well fellas, it was great meeting you all and maybe will hang out again sometime.
With that said, Jimmy takes his leave from the cafe and heads out the door. But before leaving completely. He can't help but overhear three individuals standing outside talking about XWA. The curiosity inside him peaked and he felt he should listen in on what they have to say. If it was something he needed to know about the company, good or bad, he felt he should know before jumping into the ring.

Ha ha. Well I guess I got his tab. It’s cool. He’ll owe me.
Romeo throws down money on the table and finishes the second cup of hot chocolate. He stands up from the seat and looks over at Chris and gives him a head nod.
Later man. Good luck with the challenge. I’ll catch ya’ later, peace.
With that Romeo made his way out of the café back into the cold weather.

Thanks man, ill see you around!
Dynamite grinned, and looked around the cafe, surveying the disturbance,
[laughs] Man, i have a feeling in gonna like this town
Dynamite stepped out onto the street, and watched Romeo Davis wandering away, and wondered for a second whether he might have got in over his head drawing comparisons with the Pure Champ... He looked over at a couple of guys arguing in front of Val by the door, with Jimmy Vain lurking nearby, then laughted to himself, plunged his hands into his pockets and wandered away!
Think I'll have more of a look around the city...never know what i might find!

The pair move away from the door slightly so that Val, Davies and Dynamite could exit. Vain appears to be hanging around, which doesn't go un-noticed by the two young wrestlers.
"Hey, you look like someone else who's getting into XWA for it's upcoming third season. So are we, I'm just a little nervous about doing so. The name's Seth Owens."
"No one cares about you, only kidding bro. I'm the future of XWA though, Michael St. Star. You're not gonna need to remember that name though, it's going to be on the tip of everyone's tounge. If this gifted guy digs deep and manages to find a personality to match his in-ring training, we'll be well on our way to carving out the "New Era" in XWA."

Jimmy: Ahhhh... so thats who you guys are. Newcomers like myself.
Jimmy comes out from behind the corner to confront the two individuals, Seth & Michael.
Jimmy: Sorry for eavesdropping on you guys like that. But, for a minute there, you had me worried (laughs). No offense, but I thought you were the invaders I've been hearing about. I suppose that's only a silly rumor made up by some dirt sheet writers. I'm new here, like you guys, and when you don't know the people you work with. You tend to believe everything you hear.
Oh, by the way, my name is Jimmy Vain. I'm one of the new stars entering the X-Gen Division this year. You probably haven't heard much about me. I worked very briefly up in Toronto and did a few matches around the Indy Circuit.

Invaders, huh?
Jimmy, Seth and Michael turn towards the interrupting voice, seeing three figures who have just entered the diner.
That's the problem with dirt sheets, it's all second hand information, usually outdated and slightly wrong. There may or their may not be an invasion of sorts, but the whole Youngblood clan are back in town. I guess you could call it a hardcore invasion, if you wanted to.
Jason sticks his hand out to Jimmy.
Jimmy Vain, right? 'Nice' to meet you. I'm Shawn. Aren't you going to shake my brother Jason's hand?
Pfft! Ignore these two, Jim. You'd think they'd introduce their wife and sister-in-law before themselves, wouldn't you? I'm Lucy Youngblood, but just call me Lucy. Hey, who're you two wearing the matching gear, you look like a rookie tag team wanting to get into XWA.

Jimmy acknowledges the trio and returns the hand shake to Jason. The Youngbloods.. they looked familiar to him. He's never met them before in his life. But he vaguely remembers his trainer mentioning a tag team by the name of the Youngbloods. Could this be the people he was talking about ?
Jimmy: Well.. its a pleasure meeting you all. I'm Jimmy Vain. The newest superstar to the X-Gen Division.
So you guys are the Youngbloods. I think I've heard of you before. Cause you see, one of my trainers mentioned you guys as one of the most entertaining Tag Teams to ever live. I think he may have worked with you guys in the past, or just knew the three of you from the same organization ? Sorry, but he just didn't go into great detail about it (laughs). But nonetheless, its great meeting all of you.
Jimmy is somewhat is aw right now. The Youngbloods ! These guys are legends in his eyes... or... so he had heard anyway .
Oh... the guy I'm speaking of. Do you know of a man by the name of Brandon Payne ? He's the guy I'm talking about. He spoke of you three pretty highly. I suppose to him, you three were one of his many influences when he was breaking into the business, like I'm trying to do right now.
About me ? I worked in Toronto very briefly before being cut for budget reasons.
*damn economy, he uttered under his breath*
So anyways, after that I worked some indy shows around the US before landing a contract here. I felt XWA would be a great place to show off my skills and perhaps learn a few new tricks.
I don't mean to be rude or anything.. but a... what happened to you guys ? Didn't you all just kinda fall of the face of the earth over the past couple of years ? Its just I don't see you guys wrestling anymore. I mean, at least I figured I"d pass the three of you on the indy circuit somewhere (laughs).

Yeah... I know the former Genesis. We worked in a great company together a while back. He notes me as one of his great influences? I didn't know that. Maybe that's why he took a baseball bat to the owner of the company at that time.
X-Gen... what a silly concept. Anyone can use a weapon, isn't that right Jason? But it takes some true skill to put yourself in mid air and perform something high risk. Some guys are so fat they never leave the mat unless it's to fall to the ground. Me? You're looking at a multi-time Cruiserweight champion across multiple organisations. I even carried some Canadian jackass to the Cruiserweight Tag Titles, before they were discontinued because of lack of people willing to face us.
None of us have done very much since summer of '06, finally bowing out early-mid 2007, but that's what having a child does to you and your immediate family. Little Mark is three years old now. So we thought that maybe it was time to look at coming back. Hopefully things like the hardcore and cruiserweight "X-Gen" division provides a lot of fun for both Jason and Shawn, the two sides of that same coin. I'm hoping to hold my head above water in the Diamond division.

Seth and Michael get wait for people to finish talking before moving closer to the group and joining in themselves.
"Well yeah, we're hoping to become a good tag team in Season 3. I'm Seth Owens, and that's Michael St. Star. If tag teaming doesn't work out, I guess we'd give singles competition a try."
"Yeah, I'm more into this 'X-Gen' stuff, whereas he'd probably try his hand at the Pure division. Luckily for pure wrestlers, if you're good at the technical wrestling, you can be forgiven for not having much of a personality, haha.

Vain responds to Jason first:
Jimmy: Perhaps Jason.. just perhaps. All I know is, Payne knew you guys and I think it was through the organization. And not as someone he had ever worked with in the ring. Not sure about the whole baseball bat deal (laughs). Perhaps I can con him one day to tell me that story . Beating up the owner eh ? Sounds pretty interesting. He can be hot-headed & stubborn at times. So, taking a bat to the owner wouldn't surprise me a bit.
As for you, Mark. Who are you to judge the X-Gen division ? You never competed in it to my knowledge to know what its all about. So to "paraphrase" an old saying, its unfair to judge a book when you've only read its cover. Since you guys are back in town. Why don't you in particular, Mark, give it a shot ? I mean, you say you were once a great Cruiserweight Champion. So... I figured a guy like you should have no problem breaking in to the division. Hell, me and you may even cross paths someday. Besides, I think it'd great if I took down somebody like you. It'd be a great piece to add to my resume, wouldn't you think ?
Whats funny is I think your sister-in-law/wife is the only one of the group who has any sense whatsoever. Lucy, I don't know how you put up with them. I've only met your brothers for five minutes and there already beginning to get on my nerves.
