* How It Started: After graduating High School at 17. I moved out of Newark, New Jersey to Los Angeles. Where I enrolled into a wrestling school. Training religiously for the next two years. From there, I received a phone call to have a tryout match for a wrestling promotion located in 'Toronto' early last year. Long story short, I had a few matches up there. After about 2-3 weeks. I was one of the few rookies that were cut from the roster, due to financial reasons. I was a little disappointed at first, but got over it soon enough. From there, I spent the remainder of the year training to improve my game. I wrestled a few indy shows around the California area. As you can see on my body, I have the scars to prove it (laughs). Sometimes I think I go a little overboard, but know if it puts a smile on the face on the fans ? Its all worth it.
Aside from that, I have been keeping an eye on the XWA. The company seemed to be growing at a rapid pace, and I wanted to be apart of it.
* Gimmick: A blue chipper, a little rough on the edges, type of guy. I am a bit on the flashy side. I love to show off and pull spectacular, even dare I say death defying moves night in and night out just to make the crowd go 'ohhhhh' and 'awwwwww'. I don't need a flashy nickname or a stuck up snob gimmick. What you see is what you get with Jimmy Vain.
* Wrestling Style: High Flyer/Hardcore Wrestler. I can do both very well. And with that, I believe I will be a great addition to the X-Gen Division. There's alot of great talented athletes there, and I feel thats the place to be to TRULY show off my in ring skills.
* Gear/Outfit/Costume: Torn Jean Shorts, Baggy Style. Taped Gloves, Knee Pads, Shoes/Socks.
* Titles Held: None...yet
* Biggest Win: I won't call this a win, per sai. But I'd say just getting the opportunity to turn pro less then a year ago was a great moment.
* Worst Loss: No Comment
* Favorite Type of Match: Xtreme Rules, Falls Count Anywheres, Tables, etc. Put it this way. ANYTHING with a weapon in it (laughs).
* Favorite Moves/Holds: There's one move I call the 'Vaporizer'. Its where I run up the turnbuckle, do a forward flip in the air, and kick my opponent across the jaw. Very flashy move, everytime it hits. The crowd goes ballistic. Another move I like to use is called 'Fire It Up'. Its part of a little gimmick I started doing here recently. Its basically just a Rolling Powerbomb off the top turnbuckle. However with a table involved. Its much more fun to use. What I like to do usually in Hardcore Matches is set the table up. Poor lighter fluid all over it. And Instead of just lighting the table up with a lighter or a match. Me being a pot head (laughs). I pull out a joint, light it up with my lighter. Take one huge hit off it, then as I blow the smoke in the air. I throw the joint on the table. The table goes up in a blaze. Then finally ? Set my opponent up on the turnbuckle and powerbomb his ass through the flaming table.
* Finisher: I call it 'The Brain Tumor". Its a move where I pick my opponent up in a Powerbomb Lift position. Then I flip him up in the air and as he's coming down. Instead of landing with a Facebuster. I catch him in mid-air and drill with a DDT.
* Biggest Allies: None at the moment
* Most Hated Enemies: ^^^ See above
* Favorite Wrestlers: Rob Van Dam, The Hardy Boyz, Sabu. They were some of my favorite wrestlers to watch growing up and they've really inspired me to work hard and take risks. Not just in wrestling, but in life as well.
* Wrestling Ambition: To entertain the wrestling fans. Simple as that. There the ones who give us the reason to go out there each and every night to perform. For me, I don't care if I'm in the opening match or the main event. I'm gonna give everyone a show to remember. Its not always the guys in the main event who put on the best matches, and thats one of the things I'm gonna prove in the XWA. Cause not only will I help enhance the X-Gen Division, but Jimmy Vain will also put on the best match possible on the card, night in and night out.
