Shaun bounces against the ropes and the twin leg drop of his is hit on his opponent. He gets to his feet and turns to the crowd. He does his signature taunt signaling for his frog splash finishing maneuver. He runs toward the turnbuckle and hops on top. He looks at the crowd to the left and then to the right. He leaps off the turnbuckle and extends his arms and legs. He flew through the air and landed right on top of his opponent. He quickly covers up his opponent. 1…2…3…The match was over and Shaun Jenkyns had won by pinfall.
“And the winner of the match by pinfall, Shaun Jenkyns.”
The crowd cheers as Shaun began taunting. He signaled for a microphone and was handed one. He makes his way back to the center of the ring. He looks out at the crowd before looking down at the mat. This was it, it was his last match in the business. Come March he would begin a new life in the XWA. It was like being in the NFL and being traded to a new team during the off-season. Ha, oh well this was a major step for Shaun and he was glad it was happening. He looked back at the crowd and brought the microphone which was in his right hand up to his lips. He began to speak.
“Three years I’ve been here in this business. It’s been a good ride. I’ve accomplished a lot, but it’s time for me to move on. Yeah, that’s right my run with the NWWE is now over and it’s time to start a new chapter elsewhere. It’s been real here. The fans were great and I never had a problem. It’s just time for me to move on to a bigger place. My contract is almost up and I will not be signin’ back up. I will be signin’ now with the XWA. I wanna thank all you fans that supported me since day one and to all ya haters peace out cause I’m outta here. You won’t have to deal with me anymore. Y’all helped me start my career and now it’s time for me to keep goin’ and finish it off somewhere else. Thanks y’all. Now don’t be worried, y’all can still catch me in action cause the XWA will be live. So in a way I won’t be gone. So once again thanks, but it’s time for me to peace on outta here.”
Shaun dropped the microphone and taunted for the fans one last time. He exited the ring and began shaking hands with the fans that had cheered for him for so long. He took pictures with the kids and anyone else who wanted photos. Soon enough it was time for him to make his leave. He began his walk up the ramp waving goodbye. He reached the black curtain and waved his last farewell and disappeared backstage. The XWA era was about to begin. Next stop, New York.
