'The Elite' Brandon Payne
* Height: 6'5"
* Weight: 260 lbs
* Hair: Blond
* Eyes: Dark Brown
* Hometown: Los Angeles, CA (though he is 'billed' now from Manhattan, NY)
* Age: 23
* Years In Wrestling: 4
* Theme Song: 'Dark Matrix' by Jim Johnston
www.sendspace.com/file/16mf01
* How It Started: Being a wrestler is something I've always strived to become. And when I finally became one. All I wanted to be was the very very BEST the sport had to offer. That my friends, is what you see today. Hence why I am called, 'The Elite'...PERIOD !
* Gimmick: The Elite... the best of the best ! And nothing less then spectacular ! Need I say more ?
* Wrestling Style: Many different styles over the years. But over the past year or so, I've grown to be more of a Shoot-Fighter. I've become an avid fan of UFC lately. So I've incorporated many new and different moves to my moveset this year that are based on the way many of those guys fight.
* Gear/Outfit/Costume: Standard Shoot-Fighter/UFC/Pride type of attire. Fighting Gloves, Shorts, Knee Pads, Boots, Elbow Pads. Due to an injury I suffered at Devil's Night. I'm forced to wear a knee brace on my right knee. I'll never forgive those assholes for nearly ending my career that night.
* Titles Held: *sighs* Where should I begin... in no particular order:
1. TNB World Heavyweight Champion
2. GCW Continental Champion (same as 'World')
3. XWA National Champion
4. TNB Tradition Champion
5. TNB Evolution Champion (1st Ever)
6. WCW:R Hardcore Champion (1st Ever)
7. WCW Mid-Atlantic Champion
8. 2008 XWA's Biggest Mouth of the Year Co-Winner
9. 2008 XWA Combatant Xtraordinaire
10. TNB Legend (Class of 2007)
* Biggest Win: Beating that smart ass Scott 'Maniac' Manor to a pulp at TNB Revolution. In doing so, winning my first World Championship. Wonder what happened to that guy ?
* Worst Loss: *Hmph* Never had a bad loss in my life. Always gave it a 110%. The day I don't' do that ? Then I'll answer this question.
* Favorite Type of Match: Steel Cage Matches. I'm also pretty good at Submission matches as well.
* Favorite Moves/Holds: Got a few. But my favorite move to use, A move which I had to abbreviate the name of the move and simply call it the "B.E.D". Which Stands for "Book Closed. End of Story. Deal With It". Its a modifed Rock Bottom. I just wrap my right around his arm & neck. Hoist him high into the air and drop him on his back.
* Finisher: Its called the 'Money Maker'. I got the name off the old TNB General Manager, whose name was Christian MoneyMaker. He's no longer in the business and I'm using the name as a tribute to him in a way. Its a simple but effective move. A kick to the gut followed by a flipping corkscrew neckbreaker. Just enough to put down my opponents for the 1,2,3.
* Biggest Allies: Friends !? BAH ! Who needs them. There only good for stabbing you in the back. Just like those idiot fans. There fickle. They do nothing but use you and abuse you. Next question please..
* Most Hated Enemies: The whole wrestling population (laughs). 'Hated by many, Loved by few.' as I used to say.
* Favorite Wrestlers: There's a few. First being Sting (aka Steve Borden). Next there's Sebastian 'Avenger' Crowe. A very good friend of mine for many years. He helped me break into the business in Atlanta. Learned alot from that guy and to me, he is one of the most respected individuals in the business today. Lionheart is another one. Wasn't for him opening up (or should I say 're-opening') the doors of WCW, which later became TNB, I probably wouldn't be here today.
* Wrestling Ambition: To me, being in this business is not about the money, or the fame of being in the spotlight. Its about respect. And, if I can retire as a guy who could be looked upon as one of the greats in the industry. As someone who would inspire the superstars of tomorrow to jump into the business. Then I know my blood, my sweat, and my tears would've been worth it. I love this business with a passion. Through all the good times and the bad times. I have no regrets for anything I've done. I'm a firm believer in that things always happen for a reason. And.. my goal is simply to be the best in this industry. I'm a man of respect, and not one for money. I think respect should be earned.. and not given. When its all said and done. Whether the fans, wrestlers, promoters, dirt sheets, etc, etc, love me or hate me ? In the end. There gonna look back on my career and say that I was one of the best to ever step into the squared circle.
