As the show kicks off from Phoenix, the fans are met with the sound of Ethan Bain's entrance theme. He steps into the arena with a distant, angered look in his eye.
Buzz: Man, Ethan looks prit-tee pissed right now. And who can blame him? It's easy to say that Dru Nedermeyer took him to the learning tree at Only The Strong.
Roach: He got what he wanted, a match versus the legend. Problem is he also got his ass kicked. This should be fun.
Ethan enters the ring. He snatches the mic from the PA dude and scares everyone out of the ring. He quickly turns his attention to the matter at hand.
Dru Nedermeyer. You beat me. Fair and square. You came out, and you did what you do best. Win. I've since coming to XWA beaten some top notch talent. But I didn't have what it takes to beat you.
And that PISSES ME OFF!!!
He gets his usual reaction from the crowd. With a scowl on his face, he continues.
You're always preaching about "Discipline, Dedication & Training". All that fight for yourself, not glory crap. That old school garbage that no one in there right mind even thinks about anymore. And in standing toe to toe with you, there might be something to all that. But am I satisfied? HELL NO!!! Was I at my best in Italy? Not a chance. But I'm not one of these bastards who make excuses. When I'm bested, I fess up to it. And that's what I'm doing right now. I didn't get the chance to do it in Italy. But right here in the US Airways Center, I want you to come out to this ring, so I can shake your hand and acknowledge to you, the fans and the critics that you ARE the better man, and still the best big in the industry.
The reaction from the crowd is one of total surprise...
Buzz: Bain wants to shake Nedermeyer's hand? This sounds shady, Mike. Here's a guy who's run rough shot over XWA superstars since the day he walked into the company, all of a sudden willing to take one on the chin after a crucial loss?
Roach: I'm with you, Buzz. This smells fishy. You gotta believe Dru's thinking the same thing.
As Buzz & Roach voice there thought, the entrance theme of Nedermeyer hits the PA.

Dru steps into the arena met by a thunderous roar from the fans. He stands briefly on the set looking towards Bain before making his way to the ring. A mic awaits him on the ring steps. He grabs it and steps through the second rope. Standing a few feet from Ethan, he speaks.
Now THIS I just can't put my finger on. For the last three months you've pretty much made XWA you're own personal highlight reel. I'm finding it REEEEEEEEEEEEALLY hard to believe that after one loss, you're just gonna switch up your outlook. When Sylas beat you, you pretty much came for blood. But here, lil' ol' me steps into the ring, takes you on, and wins. And here you stand wanting to shake my hand.
Dru pauses...
If there's one thing you learn VERY fast in this business, it's that you keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. And I can count how many people I consider "friends" in wrestling on one hand. But you, I wouldn't necessarily call an enemy. You fall in that grey area of guys who could be enemies if they press the right buttons. But here you are. A man willing to say that another man was his better. That if anything gets you something well deserved. Respect. It takes a BIG man to come out to the ring and SAY that he was bested. Lord knows some of the egos running around here would have never had the class to do that. So for that Ethan Bain, I will say that you've earned my respect.
Dru steps forward to extend his hand to Bain, but they're soon interupted by another voice from backstage...

To the stage steps the one and ONLY Marshall Dane. With a slick grin on his face, he comes out with mic in tow to comment on what was happening in the ring.
Isn't...this...precious. This is something RARELY seen in wrestling these days. A show of sportsmanship. It's touching, it really is. But it's a damn shame that it's all gonna be for nothing. Here we have Ethan Bain. "The Big Ticket". One of the best young talents in the industry. A SURE FIRE future World Champ. And then we have the LEGENDARY Dru Nedermeyer. A man who has seen and done everything there is to do in wrestling. The guy who'll forever be known as the man who REVOLUTIONIZED what it means to be a super heavyweight in wrestling. Two worlds colliding. The Invincible Monster, The Big Ticket. It's AWE inspiring... [/b] He gives his twisted grin.
But what you gentlemen fail to remember is that you're not the ONLY "big men" in XWA. And I just so happen to know a couple of them who take exception to EITHER of you thinking that just because you both have some impressive resumes that YOU'RE the top draw. Oh no. Not a chance, gentlemen. In fact, tonight, I'm here to put forth a challenge of MY OWN. One I think you both will be VERY interested in. Ethan Bain & Dru Nedermeyer, one week removed from a monumental battle, teaming up...to take on the UNSTOPPABLE team of VIKRAM and THE COLOSSUS in a TORNADO TAG MATCH. What say you, gentlemen?The crowd erupts in cheer from the challenge laid down by Dane.
You've gotta be KIDDING ME!!! Bain & Nedemeyer vs. VIKRAM & HIGBY!!! This is NUTS!!! That's HUGE!!!

As the crowd continues to cheer, Dru turns his attention from Bain to Dane in front of the set.
Let me get this right. You're out here wanting to put your bald ogres in a match tonight against me and Bain? To do what? Prove a point that your guys are the best big men? How many times have I heard THAT claim. I'm gonna bottom line it like this, pipsqueak. To be the best, you've gotta BEAT the best. And that man is ME. And I don't mean in some tag match, I mean ONE on ONE!!! But since I myself have a free night, I'd be HAPPY to take you're two boys on. With or WITHOUT Bain. You tell 'em to strap it on. They want a fight? They've GOT ONE!!!

Ethan raises his mic to speak up as well.
WHOA WHOA WHOA!!! Hold the hell up. You've got some god damn nerve, Dane. You use MY TIME in the ring to try and push you're pair of retards? I DON'T THINK SO. Nedermeyer, I hate to break it to ya' but you're not runnin' solo in this one. I was in a fightin' mood to begin with, and I think I found someone to take out my frustration on now. Dane, you run on backstage and get those two chumps real primed and ready. Cuz they're gettin' there ASSES KICKED tonight.

Dane gives a gleeful grin. It appears his plan went better then anticipated. Both men where hot heads, and it seemed they were more then willing to entertain the idea of a fight. But the ever conniving Dane had an ace up his sleeve as usual.
Good, good, good. Then it looks like we've got ourselves a game tonight. But...I think that you gentlemen, as well as the fans deserve a small preview of what you boys just got yourselves into. So... [/b] Dane merely smiles as apparently a further part to his plan would be hatched...[/center] |

From out of the crowd jumps a man who hadn't been seen in months, the volatile and violent Vikram. With a look of blood in his eyes, he bounds over the guard rail with a steel chair in hand...
Buzz: HOLY CRAP!!! It...it's VIKRAM!!!
He slides into the ring without Bain or Nedermeyer even suspecting, and delivers a thunderous shot to the back of Bain with the chair. It reverberates through the arena like an explosion as Bain crumbles to the floor. Before Dru could even defend himself, Vikram delivers an equally brutal shot to the skull of Nedermeyer. Vikram drops the chair, and bounds toward the opposite rope. He lunges at the staggered Nedermeyer and delivers his signature "Skull Buster" Clothesline, taking him clean off his feet with a tremendous shot. But Vikram was far from done. He turns his attention back to Bain. He lifts Ethan off the mat, and hoist him up on his shoulders...
Roach: Vikram's INCENSED!!! He's NEVER been this brutal before!!! This had to be part of Dane's plan all along. That BASTARD!!!
With a beastly growl, Vikram delivers "The Pain" on Ethan. With a sickening grin, he stands over Bain & Nedermeyer, survey the carnage that he'd just caused.

Dane with glee makes his way to the ring. Vikram had single handedly laid waste to two men. The sight was something of sheer brilliance. He looks down at the two and speaks.
There is NO FORCE on EARTH big enough, strong enough, or MEAN enough to withstand MY GIANTS. This was only a TASTE gentlemen. The main course comes up later tonight. BON APPETITE!!!
Dane& Vikram take there leave of the ring. Back up the walkways, Dane was all smiles. |

Drustruggles to pull himself up to his feet after the blistering shot delivered by Vikram. His eyes burned with pure rage. Dane started something that was going to be finished in blood and broken bones.
The boys are starting to stir again, and they look PISSED!!! Dane might have bit off more then he can chew this time.
Like it matters? He's got a pair of 7 foot MONSTERS at his command. You just saw with your own eyes what Vikram can do. He just sent a reminder to Bain and Nedermeyer why HE'S one of the most feared men in wrestling.

Bain rolls over clutching his head. Vikram got the best of of both of them, and Bain wasn't pleased by it. He catches eyes with Dru, and a silent pact was made that moment. They might still not have much trust in each other, but there was a common enemy between them now. Dane, Vikram and Higby. The fight had now only just begun.
