born Kimberly Hanley in Toronto to a home maker mother and a small time boxing referee father. For almost her entire life her father wanted to raise her like he would a son meaning from a early age she was playing hockey, hanging out at the boxing gym her father worked at.
when kim was 17, her relationship with her father was strained, as she started to resent him for forcing her into his shoes, this led to what kim calls her dark years. she quit school, and got into with the wrong people, she was arrested at one point for giving a guy at a bar a right hook knocking him out.
but as kim reached rock bottom, when she was 19 living in a shitty apartment with her "boy friend". after getting off work from her job at a fast food joint and getting "home" her boy friend beat her, and beat her bad....leaving her alone in the apartment abit bloody, crying, and hurt as he left her life and almost a sign to show her where her life was...she got a call her father died
after the funereal kim wanted to go straight, she lived with her mother for a few months, during that time she meet up with a now good friend, who was a indy wrestler, she at first started out as his valet, but wanted to get more into it so on her 20th birthday she was given the training she wanted.
feeling reborn from the person she was a year before, she took the stage name kimberly angelos, her natural in ring ability and how she threw herself into the job made her a big splash on the Canadian wrestling scene, after meeting a local wrestling legend at a show, she quit the day job she was doing to put in full time training and wrestling, and just as it might have been a higher power to pull her from the gutter, the same power picked her up further as XWA called her.
now working for XWA kim got the chance to do the things she always wanted, compete on a huge worldly stage, find love, and even do things she wanted but was afraid of, like posing nude for a magazine, after taking much of 2008 off for a injury that happened playing hockey back home, she looks to 2009 to be her big break out year.
armed with a new look and new moves, its not looking to bad that 2009 will be just that
