"Make Me Bad" suddenly began to play inside of the Staples Center, and at that point the XGAMES2 broadcast would finally hear from those who had earned the chance to be in "The Diamond's Conflict". Tiffany made a confident stride directly to the ring, not paying one bit of attention to the jeers of the crowd.
Rose: I think that it's safe to say that Tiffany Masterson is not the crowd favorite to end our season Diamond Champion, don't you Lucy?
Lucy: That would be the understatement of the year, but look at the confidence on her face. She couldn't care less, and she's got good reason for that too. Tiffany's as good as anyone in the XWA at what she does, even if she is a little snobbish.
Rose: A little you say? Well, be that as it may, you're right. She's got all the tools to come out on top tonight, and I bet you my ridiculously high paycheck that she wants nothing more than to leave everyone in LA with a sour taste in their mouths.
Standing now center ring, she holds the cold mic to her lips.
"So now it all comes down to this night. After all that's come and gone in 2008, it's now time to finish things tonight with this little thing they call XGAMES2. A night that finds me, Tiffany Masterson in the position to become the new Diamond Champion. A position that if I'm not mistaken, I told all of you that I was perfectly capable of getting into all along."
The expression on her face as the crowd booed was incredibly sly and incredibly smug.
"I said it as many times as it was necessary to say, and all I did to back it up was show exactly just what kind of an athlete, what kind of a fighter I am inside of this ring...and to think that I only do this for fun!"
She giggles.
"Oh, how I know there are just so many women, so many ahem...Diamonds, who wish they were in this position right now. I bet they're all fuming at the fact that I'm going to be one that will win the title tonight. That would mean that all of them would have to try and take it from me in 2009, and all of them will fail."
I look at the three other who I will face tonight...
"Roze. A former Diamond Champion herself. But who exactly did she defeat to become a champion? A whiskey-swilling, loudmouthed trailer park snipe...only to be defeated for that title by an champagne-swilling, loudmouthed Beverly Hills snipe. Hardly an impressive showing if I may say so.
Then of course there's my old friend Marisol Cardinale, who has always been so uptight the fact that I don't take this wrestling this seriously. Hmph, I take it seriously enough to show as many times as possible just how better I am at it than most others are. I have our last encounter fresh in my mind Marisol, and I assure you that you will not be so lucky this time.
And speaking of luck, last but not least we have the new Diamond Champion Tanden Fearse. She was so lucky that nobody knew who she even was in the Devil's Playground long enough for them not to have eliminated her early...and then she was lucky enough to pin Jamie Fury after hitting her with everything but the kitchen sink as you yanks like to say. I believe, had it not been that you had help from five other women's apparent ignorance that you wouldn't be champion right now...but you are, and now you find yourself here in the main event."
Tiffany begins to sarcastically applaud.
"To that though Ms. Fearse, I say this. You would be foolish to dwindle on your miraculous victory at Devil's Night, because tonight you find yourself in the precarious position of being in this ring against me. You had better be ready to do anything to defend that title, because I will do anything take it from you, and there's nothing you, Roze or Marisol will be able to do about it."
Confident and serious words from Tiffany, that as expected garner as response that begins with the sound of another chosen Diamond's theme.

The lights in the arena begin to flash multi-colors, and the entrance theme of Roze fills the arena. Dressed in a skin tight, sleeveless jumpsuit, Roze enters the Staples Center with a sinister grin on her face.
Travis: I don't know what the hell's happened to Roze, but...I kinda like it. Just look at her, Lucy.
Lucy: Of course you'd like it, you're a guy. I on the other hand see it as a bad omen. It's almost like the Roze we've come to know was but a shell of something far sinister.
Roze enters the ring, and gives a rather flirtatious glance to Tiffany, in whom you could see visibly it almost made her skin crawl. Just the reaction Roze wanted. Taking the mic handed to her, Roze slowly caresses it's hilt gentle before grasping it tight and speaking her response.
Tifffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffany. My dear...dear Tiffany. Why so...
...hostile?
It seems to me my fine, fair skinned, delectable little snow flake that for someone who does this just for fun, you're actually doing this because you have something to prove. If this was truly for fun for you, victory would hold little importance to you. But as it stands, and in your words, your body language, your very core...victory means everything to you. So please...please...
...spare us your hot air.
Roze gives another curious glance to Tiffany.
Up until this point my sweet, I'll admit that I...haven't exactly been truthful with many of you. How so? Simple. Up until this point, I've been holding back. Not just in the ring, but in general. It felt like XWA wasn't ready for what I truly am. But at this point, I could care less if you're ready or not. Because it's time that I came out...so to speak. And there's no better feeling then to...
*Takes Deep Breath*
BARE yourself to the world. Uncut, uncensored and in the raw. Girl Fight only saw but a glimpse of what Roze really is. And in 2009, you'll all see what I really am in it's truest, most primal form. But before that happens, I take back something I lost because I choose to hold back. You see, I've seen the best that you can do, as well as the other two ladies I'll get to play with tonight...
*Licks lips*
...but you all haven't even begun to see what my best is. Because my best, is my worst. And my worst is something that no human being should bare witness to. But don't worry. You only get a sample of what that hell on Earth is tonight. What started at Girl Fight in my ultimate victory will culminate tonight with your systematic end. And you won't be alone.
Roze blows her a kiss and gives a sadistic grin.

"I beg to differ, Ms. Roze.
First off, the only reason that you are standing here tonight is because Sonya Robbins was so adamant on destroying you that she tired herself out enough to give you the chance to take the upper hand. Victory was yours yes...but Girlfight showed me as much as anything else you've done this year just how easy it will for someone of my caliber to use you as a throwing dummy."
She was the one grinning now.
"Secondly, one should practice what they preach. You are the second woman tonight who's apparently turned over a new leaf. Holding back you say? If you've had to do that, then it only proves how truly pathetic you are at this. With me, there is no facade and never has been. I've shown the world how superior to the rest of the field I can be, without the need to repackage my personality. In that respect, I've proven my superiority to about half of our colleagues without even a need to face them in this ring. You get the distinction of actually doing just that...of which I will show you how else I'm superior to a wretch like you.
And lastly, about victory itself. Is that not what you are here for? Is the coveted Diamond Championship that you once held nothing more than a trophy piece. Is your aim here to just be the oh-so boring and trivial "sadist" and administer pain and punishment? How droll. I simply aim to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that I am better than most of the so-called competition in the Diamond Division, and from what I see before me...that will not be so hard of a point to prove.
That would also be the only point I need to prove...not myself of course, hmm hmm...I already know that as fact! There's just one or two thick skulls which it must be beaten into it seems. Oh well, such is life."

Whilst Tiffany was ranting on, Roze rolled her eyes eyes and shook her head. She'd speak a response not to soon after.
Well played, Tiff. I can call you Tiff, can I? I have to ask, do you script these little speeches, or do they come to you naturally? Oh, by the way. I think the word you were looking for was "Drab". "Droll" means to have a humorous, whimsical or odd quality. You'd think with that Million Dollar upbringing they'd take the time to teach you the correct terminology for words. But obviously there's a few things Mr. And Mrs. Masterton forgot to teach their little girl. Like when to shut her pretty little mouth.
Roze shots a sinister smile her way before adding.
I know you've been fed everything your entire life with a silver spoon, including your spot in tonight's main event, but please...please...pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease sweety. Spare us anymore of cybernetic horn tooting. If your wrestling were as good as your ability to fill arenas with hot air, Marisol, Tanden and I would have lost this match the day we signed the contract for it. Let's take a little trip back in time. I'm standing here tonight because I bested three females in one night, two of XWA's best and a former Pearl Champion. Marisol finds her way into tonight's match by way of surviving a 6 woman Steel Cage match, and of course Tanden defied all odds as one of the 1st two females in The Devil's Playground to not only win, but pin the reigning champion to secure that win. Then we have you, who finds her way here from somehow landing the last spot in a gauntlet match and beating a woman in Chloe who'd already wrestled two times before hand, while you sat backstage sipping tea. So forgive forgive for thinking that you can take your horn blowing and blow it out your vag.
Three of us are here because we earned it. One of us is here through a formality of match stipulations and booking needs. And low and behold that one here on a formality is the one talking out of her ass. No surprise there, eh? What that boils down to is the fact that despite what your United Kingdom sized ego is leading you to believe, you're the one who has the most to prove tonight. And I think that between Marisol, Tanden and I, we'd much rather all catch yeast infections tonight the let you walk out of this arena Diamond Champion, much less under your own cognizance.

"I use my wording quite wisely, first of all Roze. Humorous, whimsical and odd describes you quite well, and it more than accurate describes any chance you have tonight of winning this bout yourself.
Now, hmm hmm...for all of the hot air and horn blowing that you seem to accuse me of, you yourself are guilty of it as much as sin. Do you think that I care about how you made it to this point? I merely pointed the fact out to show that you aren't as "talented" as you think that you are. If you question my ability, all you need do is ask Marisol herself just how good I am."
Making a slow pace around the ring, her gaze now focuses on the LA fans.
"Call it an off night if you will, but defeating a woman with the training pedigree of hers in just over five minutes is more than I can say for someone like you. But yet...as I said earlier if that thick skull of yours didn't comprehend...dwindling on what you've done in the past mean nothing in the present. So if you don't mind, let us keep things there and focus on the future, shall we? Allow me to set the precedent..."
She waves a single hand in the air to literally wash away all of the contrite bragging and nagging that Roze seemed to be focused on.
"...tonight? We face each other in a match, and when that match is over the best of us will become the new champion. That...will be me. If that's still too complicated for you, don't worry. You'll understand completely when this night is over."

Post by Marisol Cardinale on Dec 18, 2008 7:30:07 GMT -5
The back and forth by Roze and Tiffany soon gets interrupted when the theme of the third challenger begins to play. Both women's heads turn to the stage where from backstage Marisol Cardinale comes out to a raucous ovation.
Rose: Well, a lot of people over the last week have pegged Marisol here to be the favorite to come out of XGAMES2 as the new Diamond Champion. What do you think, Lucy?
Lucy: I'm not going to feed into that. I've always said the champion is the favorite until he or she is beaten, but when you look at Marisol's obvious credentials compared to the rest of the field, you would have to think she's got the best shot to upend Tanden's title hopes, or anyone's for that matter.
Rose: I think back to the Ironman match at Solstice against Tiffany. That right there was really the testament to just how better Marisol has gotten since she went under the tutelage of Tadako Anenokoji. She might look like a sweetheart, and she really is backstage, but when the bell rings you'd better watch out!
As the announcers spoke, she was walking the aisle smiling all the way, high fiving the fans around the ring before her focus turned to who was inside of it. Mari accepts the microphone handed to her and then she stepped into that ring.
The more things change, as they say, the more they stay the same. Standing backstage, I couldn't wait to get out here and put a stop to all of this gloating. We might as well make two replica Diamond Titles and give them to the both of you, and just maybe you might actually shut your mouths!
Her opening words were enough to get an early jolt out of the fans.
See, unlike you two...I'm not going to come into the match believing that I'm going to dominate, make statements, set examples or any of that. I was the first woman to earn a place in this match way back at WarGames, and from that point on what I did was watch and scout the entire Diamond Division, because I knew that any one of them...any single one of them...could be standing in this ring with me right now on this night.
That being said Roze, I've seen what you can do, and Tiffany...I know from experience what you can do...so it's a safe bet to say that coming out of this match tonight on top of the wrestling world is NOT going to be as easy as you both say, not by a long shot.
Roze, I hope that you don't as you called it "hold back" tonight, because if you do you will come up short. This is XGAMES!!! This is LOS ANGELES!!!
*Cheap pop*
This is where the XWA puts on the biggest and best show on the planet, and I hope you have an understanding that that's what I going to be out here doing when that bell rings. Giving my all, fighting harder than I've ever fought before...and Tiffany can attest to just how hard that can be. Yes, you did beat me in dominant fashion months ago, but that was just one match, the same as how the Ironwoman match between us was one match. The only match that matters now, just like you said, is this one.
All I'm going to say to you two about that is that talk is cheap! Tonight is all about making your actions speak louder than your words could ever do. It's about finishing this season as the Diamond Champion, and I'm ready to take whatever you think you can dish out in order to get it!

Not to soon after Mari's arrival came the arrival of the new XWA Diamond Champion. The fans come to their feet as they cheer on the triumphant Tanden. Instead of joining the others in the ring, Tanden stands at the stage with the title draped over her shoulder. She raises her mic and speaks her response to the proceedings.
Mari's absolutely right, ladies. One match means squat. So many superstars talk themselves up about what they're doing now. But what about what you do down the road? Take me for example. When I walked into XWA, I was a small fish in a REEEEEEEEEEEALLY big pond. A pond that countless women have come into thinking they'd conquer all, only to get swallowed into the abyss. But here I stand, XWA Diamond Champion. And not for nothin' girls, I like being champ. This is only my 2nd ever title, and my 1st World Title. I don't quite feel like having it for just one show. Of course, that's going to come down to who put it down tonight. Four women. Four styles. One title. And it won't be the best woman to win tonight, it'll be about not just dishing it, but taking it as well. And I think I proved without a shadow of doubt that I can take it with the best of them. I survived from #2 in the most grueling match a Diamond will wrestle in her career, and I won. Tonight's match is cake compared to the punishment I took at Devil's Night. And I'm not ready to be called the "former" champion just yet. I'm gonna keep it short and sweet, just like me. Don't talk about winnin' tonight. Either you do, or you don't.Just be ready to bring everything you've got, because you can bet you pretty lil' asses that I'm bringing it times TEN tonight.
The fans cheered on as Tanden nods to them, patting the title on her shoulder. The ball was in the next woman's court for a response.

"I've always prided myself on having action that speaks just as loudly as my words, Marisol."
Tiffany speaks up to respond to both her rival and the new champion.
"And as for you Tanden, if you were to somehow walk out of this arena with that title the same way you walked out of Devil's Night with the Diamond Title, it would only solidify you as being the luckiest woman on the face of the world. You know they did say something about it being better to be lucky than good sometimes, right? If there's anyone who fits that bill Tanden Fearse, it would be you. Calling you an "upstart" champion would an understatement.
Tonight, you will be doing exactly as you did in Texas, not winning...but surviving. And that my dear is speaking as if you were actually going to somehow be able to do that granted the fact that you're going to be in this ring with not one but dare I say three women who could probably tie you in knots easily.
But then again, there is always lady luck isn't there? I suppose we'll have to see if she's going to be in your corner again, hmm?"
