*The Staples Center was still reeling from the match they had just experienced when the Jumbotron lit up with the image of the beautiful Fabiola on the screen with a mic in her hand.*
”Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Kayn.”
*The crowd exploded as the “Death Metal Goliath” walked into frame. Fabiola began her questions.*
”Kayn, last time we saw you was the season finale of Takedown where you were handed a loss at the hands of our newest member, Breaker. After that no one has seen you since. Where have you been?”
“Well Fab, as it’s well documented I had an amazing start to the season. Hell, I didn’t lose a match until I stepped into the ring with Magnus where he beat me for the Pure Title. But since losing that match my record has been, shall we say, less than perfect. A loss to Robby Sylk, a loss in my tag match with a man I truly respect in XXL, and then I did something that I have rarely done before at the season finale and that is tap out to Robby's new muscle Breaker. So after that match I decided to take a little bit of me time and head home to Seattle for a few weeks to clear my head and get back on track of doing what I do best.”
”And what’s that?”
“Winning. So I’ve decided that tonight, right here in Los Angeles, California *cheap pop* I am going to challenge Breaker to a return match. But it’s not going to be any match Fabs, oh no no no. Tonight I’m challenging Breaker to a match that I have never competed in but on paper weighs heavy in my favor. *Kayn looks in the camera.* Breaker, pack your bags because tonight you and I are going on a road trip…. down King’s Road.”
*The crowd explodes as Kayn continues to look in the camera for a few moments before continuing.*
“And I promise that when I’m in my element you will see what a true pure ‘Goliath’ can do.”
*Kayn looks just another moment before thanking Fabiola for her time and taking his leave.*
Mike: ”Wow, Kayn calling for a King’s Road match. Do you think Breaker will accept?”
Buzz: ”Of course he will! Kayn’s washed up and Breaker is the new big man here. I can’t wait to see Kayn have his foot inserted in his mouth, literally!”
Antonio: ”I have to disagree Buzz, I think in this kind of match Kayn has the definite edge.”
Willy: ”And that’s what will give Breaker the win. Kayn’s over confidence. I’m calling Breaker for the win on this one.”
Mike: ”Well Willy, first we have to see what Breaker says before we can start thinking about who will come out victorious.”
*As the commentators continue to talk the participants for the next match make their way to the ring.*
