Greetings to all my fans overseas, those who support me here in the states, and those of you back home in the great north.
New York has been great to me these past few weeks, despite the rumors and word passed around the underground about it being all ego's and politics. I've found myself smack dab in the middle of controversy though. While trying to hide my relations from the common fans who just change the channel and find me in the ring, Hayley Jonas has brought it up on television. Lucky for me though, it wasn't a completed subject of conversation, and like I asked, it was dropped.
My pedigree does foretell my potential, but I fear it will overshadow my accomplishments this side of the water from where my accolades are acclaimed. I honestly would like to treat fighting in North America again as a completely seperate life and career from the one I have overseas. So each win, each accomplishment, each victory mentally, morally, and physically is celebrated just the same as if they were the first in each instance.
My close friends tell me this is something that seperates the rest of the Diamonds, Roses, Divas, Joshi or whatever else the womens wrestling divisions of the world call their performers. Most of them are employed for the gold and appeal of their body parts and revealing clothing. Either ex dancers, adult performers or small time girls, from small time towns, with big city looks and dreams. The kind that get by on the size of their appendages and not the quality of their matches with other performers. -Fact- Your only as good as the opponent across from you. If you totally annihilate your opponent, it doesn't mean your good, it means they were weak, and thus, you look 'ok' for winning. The other side of the coin being that if your in an epic match, which pushes the limits and receives the attention and accolades of your peers, even losing your held in higher regard. Winning and your praised and remembered for your performance.
Do you all see what I'm saying? Allow me to use examples.
Say Hayley and Kim Hunter are having a match. Kim gets furious and totally demolishes Hayley whose heart isn't in the match, thus her performance falters. Kim wins correct? But the victory is marred by the fact that Hayley wasn't at 100% and giving it her all on that night.
Speaking of the brawling Diamond, Hayley Jonas, I had the pleasure of competing with her and Stacie Wilson this past week in a 3 way match, which saw me achieve a victory physically by getting the pin on Stacie. Morally by not involving myself in their real life problems, and mentally by pinning the shoulders of the girl who got the better of me on PPV in my re-debut for LXW. Now, I get the chance of going 1 on 1 with Hayley on the Super Show, which in itself says she respects me, and management respects me for giving me the position on the card we have. It's a spot that could have went to any of the other over or under achieving girls in the back. The fact they trust me to carry my end of a match with Hayley is enough payment to my self esteem, getting a win over her on that night will only be an added bonus if things go that way.
Oh, and one last thing. I promised myself I wouldn't address an issue between me and my family online for all to see, but the dispute is near it's end anyway, so I might as well let you all know. My brother and I have been trying to establish a better relationship with our younger brother, who he himself is employed partially by LXW as well. Well, we're one step closer to closure. We're going to give him one final chance to speak to us and clear the air between us three. If he chooses to listen and take what we have to say and soak it in, good. But if he refuses to hear us out, we have no choice but to move on, carry on with our lives and hope one day he comes around.
So if your out there and reading this, Lucas, we both miss you, and wish you would come back to work with us here. It would mean alot, not just to our brother, but me as well. I never got the chance to work with you in Ohio, or New York. I wish I had the chance here and now, but your always gone, missing or in hiding doing your own thing. Just know that I love you brother, and I hope to hear from you soon.
