Confrontation...(Sabastien/Dane)

As the show continues on, Adam Devlin's music sounds over the PA, and the XWA Original makes his way to the stage. Sporting his brand new "Fear Nothing" T-Shirt, the heroic Devlin makes the walk down the walkway and into the ring. Calling for a mic, he starts his address.

Last week in Boston, we witnessed by far one of the most heinous acts in XWA...no...WRESTLING history. Our illustrious "GM" Sabastien Gallas saw fit to put Joey Curtis in of all things a Handicap match versus the 7'0", 325lbs Vikram and the 7'2" 370lbs Colossus. A match that I don't care HOW good you are, you have no shot of winning. And Joey went out like a lion, yes. He fought his god damn heart out. But in the end it wasn't enough. In the end, he found himself in the grasp of Steven Higby..."The Colossus", and got chokeslamed dead center in the ring. So hard did he get dropped that he suffered a concussion and is out of action for at LEAST a month.

The crowd boos the fact that XWA will be without Curtis into late September...

It's lightning striking twice. 2 months ago, Higby came out to this ring, and ended the career of a good friend of mines, Christopher Hevessey, AKA Chris Havik. And last week he came an earshot to doing the same to Joey. I give all the credit in the world to Jon Payne for actually surviving this animal, but it could have just as easily been him as well, or ANYONE in XWA. What I'm basically saying is that as long as Steven Higby AND Marshall Dane roam these halls, No one is safe. And Gallas, you've capitalized on it. You've got under your wing the biggest, most vicious son of a bitch walking the earth. But I can be ALOT WORSE.

Adam stares into the camera.

You've got the rest of your goons squad poised to try and take out two more people, but you forgot about the one guy who you've NEVER been able to put a thumb on. ME!!! And BOY do I have a surprise for you tonight. You see, I'm CALLING OUT Higby tonight. Me and you big man, ONE ON ONE. And you can feel free to come on down and join him, Dane. Because I'm gonna be bringing someone down to ringside myself. Someone who NONE OF YOU would ever expect, but when you see him...Oooooooooooooooooooh boy are things gonna change. So come on out, fellas. Let's all get nice and chummy here tonight.

Lowering his mic, Adam awaits there arrival.

Marshall Dane makes hs way out to the stage, Flanked of course by The Colossus. With mic in hand, he responds.

Adam Devlin, you are indeed TRULY the man with no fear, because it would take a man of INSANE BRAVERY to actually walk out to that ring and CALL OUT the TRUE Giant of professional wrestling. THE COLOSSUS of BLACKPOOL. But I can't say that I didn't see this coming. What I CAN say, is that you sir, are in for a RUDE AWAKENING. You see, Joey Curtis, Jon Payne, Eric Rhodes, and yes even Chris Havik all know full well that when you step in the ring with this man beside me, yu take your very CAREER into your own hands. So I ask of you...no...I BEG of you to reconsider. Because I as ALWAYS am not to be held accountable for the in ring actions of my client...

Dane awaits Adam's response.

Adam raises his mic to respond...

For months you've come out here and talked about how you're not "accountable" for what he does in the ring. Well guess what? I'm not accountable for what I do to him...and to YOU if you get in my damn way tonight. I might get my ASS KICKED tonight, but you'd better god damn believe I'm takin' a piece off of that big son of a bitch's ASS!!! And then after that, I'm coming for your BOSS. The days of Sabastien Gallas holding his thumb on this company is going to END...and sooner then you think. So what's it gonna be, Dane? Is your "client" man enough to run with the devil or what???[/color]

Dane pats Higby on the back and replies.

It's not a matter on if he's man enough. It's a matter on if you're STUPID enough. And obviously you are. I tried to reason with you, but it's clear you want to commit CAREER SUICIDE tonight. So be it then. You want a fight with my giant? You've GOT a fight with my giant. It's your funeral, Devlin.

Dane and Higby await his response.

I don't THINK so, Dane. I'm not goin' down without a FIGHT!!! And a fight's what he's gettin' tonight. You can take that to the BANK, buddy boy.

The back and forth banter between Dane and Devlin is suddenly pre-empted by the arrival of XWA's "GM"...

Sabastien steps out unto the stage alongside Dane and The Colossus. It'd been more then a month since he and Devlin's paths had crossed. He smoldered as Devlin stood defiant in the ring, as he and everyone else wondered who it was Devlin was supposedly bringing with him to ringside...

Adam, Adam, Adam. You'd figure by now with all the examples I've made, and the ones yet to me made this evening that you would know your place. But since when have you EVER done that? So it appears you've found another ally...I find that interesting since the number of people who defy me seems to dwindle by the week. Who by chance could it be, I wonder? WhoEVER it is, it'll do you no good. Because tonight, I FINALLY make an example of YOU. The Colossus will crush you...AND your would be ally tonight. And then, when you lay in a heap of broken mass in the middle of the ring, I'll PERSONALLY see to it that your mangled carcass is carted off in grand fashion. And so will end the XWA career, of "The Daredevil".

Sabastien grins sadistically as he awaits Adam's response.

Adam has a confident swagger in his step. He walks to the ropes and looks out to the three men...

Some how, I don't think so, Sabby. You see, the only careers gettin' killed tonight...is YOURS. After this show, you're gonna rue the day you ever met me. And you...you're posse...and ANYONE that's ever alligned with you are gonna be seeing "Red". You can five-star LOCK it. For months you've dropped bombs on anyone who's taken you on. Tonight, I drop a NUKE on you and your ENTIRE REGIME!!! BANK on it.

Adam's music cues over the PA. He rolls out of the ring and hops over the barricade. Raising his hands high, the crowd cheers him on as his exits the arena.

Buzz: What the hell is he talking about? Does Adam Devlin have a PLAY on Gallas or something?

Roach: I don't know, but I think it has something to do with whoever is gonna be joining him at ringside. This is going to be interesting indeed.

Sabastien looks to Dane and whispers him instructions as Devlin leaves the arena. The scene goes to the next segment.
