stupid question. I honestly haven't read much about SvR09 yet, but is DLC supported on PS2? Nope, Only on the 360 & PS3 versions. so that means those of us that are too poor to buy Next gens are ass out on certain characters?

Unfortunately yes. The saving grace to the PS2 version of course is the uses of hacks, which will open up more of the game for those who don't want to sit there for hours building up CAWS, but the downside is that the 360 and PS3 versions will eventually have more content. Remember, this is probably going to be the last SVR on the PS2. At least it's feature set is going to be identical to the others for starters.

To be more exact, SVR2011 will more then likely be the last game in the series for the PS2. In 2012 they will officially be laying the PS2 to rest, so if XWA is still running in four years, 2011 will most likely be the last game used for this and any other "serious" caw E-Feds. Besides, with the CAW mode I'm more then certain CAW Creators will make versions of DLC wrestlers even better then the actual ones (Like Charlie Haas, who's DLC model is outdated, and not just from him doing the "OPG" Gimmick). Add to that the CAF and they'll also be able to make their finishers baring it's not a finisher from any position then the front. The only part that sucks in my eyes is that PS2 users won't have Evan Bourne's SSP, but I think we'll manage.
Oh, and you know for a fact that on the next gen consoles they will have an updated Randy Orton with tats available in the coming months. That's a given.
*Note - CAW feds which are usually run by 1 person probably won't suffer as much as E-Feds, because they pretty much control all of their content. But for E-Feds, which has the content of hundreds of different members it's a whole other ball game.
