Keith was not back in XWA yet but he was watching Glitter and saw another girl try and step to his lady but as always Amber didn't even bat an eyelash at her opponent. Making a decision he picks up the phone and dials her cell...

Amber at that point was backstage hanging out in the dressing room designated for the Sensationals with her friends Jamie and Marisol. Her cell phone begins to play Kanye West's "Stronger"-which was Keith's entrance music and she smiled, knowing instantly who was on the other end.
Excuse me girls...
Amber flipped it open and brushed some of her hair away from her ear, resting the phone to it.

Oh, I'm alright...
But the truth is she wasn't. There was some levity to what Baby had said earlier that night, and as she looked across the way to the Diamond Championship that hung from Jamie Fury's locker area, she knew there was no way she was going to get that over on Keith without him knowing she wasn't telling the whole truth.
...Well, to be honest, I'm a little disappointed about Only The Strong. When you think about it, that really might be my last chance at a title this year unless I decide to enter this "Girlfight" thing they have planned for the last spot at XGAMES.
I don't wanna sound like I'm title hungry, but it's slipped through my hands twice now. It's a bit of a downer... |

oh ok...It did sound like it was really bugging her...well luckily Keith has had some practice with this the last couple of weeks...
Listen Amber you will become a champion....I know it....not because you are the hottest or because you're a fan favorite...Keith was starting to feel it now ...you're gonna become a champion if not the champion because number I'm your man and I know some of my championship Wyle Style rubbed off on ya  Walking into the auditorium
if not for that then because you're trainer/Mother/Big Sis is one of the best Female Wrestler period....and I know she don't train slouches Honey

That's the thing there Keith...I think that I might be a little too dependent on the fact that I've been trained under the great Sarah Warfield. I mean, she's like a drill sergeant sometimes, and she's always pushing me to keep in ring shape, but it's just that...I don't know...
She licked her lips and reclined deep into the seat she was on.
...maybe it might be that in the ring I'm trying to be like her a little too much? Look at the others like Sonya, I mean...wow. She's foxy, but she's like a pit-bull in the ring, not to mention she kicks pretty hard-my head's still ringing, hee hee...and Marisol, she's learned a lot from Tadako Anenokoji, but she still has her own style.
Maybe that might be what I need to do, use what I know to create my own style, something that suits me. Maybe I should stop trying to be so technical like she is and just go with the flow...

I don't know babe...I mean of course you're gonna rely on the style you were trained with I mean it's your trainer's style and on some level Mari's style is reminiscent of Tadako's I mean it's still hers but it's also Tadako's...

But I agree maybe you need to change things up a little bit, I wouldn't suggest just dumping the technical stuff all together maybe you need to augment it a little bit.....it couldn't hurt honey

How are things going with me well...my knee is just fine
Keith stands up and does a little two-step....she couldn't see it but it still felt good to do it
As far as things around here I'm currently surrounded by several lovely young ladies who wanted to say something
Getting near the front of the theater he holds the phone and mouths out "it's Amber" as the girls in the crowd yell in unison
HI AMBER!!!!
Keith then brings the phone back to his ear
Yea I'm hosting a little Glitter party at the theater with some of the foundation kids and they wanted to say Hi amd wish you luck

Hello girls!It brought a big smile to Amber's face the way that Keith was such a generous person, the kind who believed in giving back to the community, no matter where that community was. He really understood the fact that he was a role model to kids who watched the XWA, and surprisingly he was one of few who actually did that kind of charity work.
I hope you enjoy the show! Maybe one day we'll have you all in the front row whenever Glitter comes to your town!Now back with Keith on the other end...

That's great baby! We could use some Wyle Style, even if you're not in the ring. I think that I'm going to take this week off and just sit back and watch. Besides, I'm still trying to make out what that Jenna Slade is after...aside from a piece of the spotlight. Maybe it's as simple as that actually... |

...most of the women on that roster want to have the name recognition you do...the magazine covers you do and most importantly they want a man that will spoil them and love them like yours does..He could be such a ham sometimes

Oh, so that's what it's been all this time? I guess I can't blame them then. She got a little bit a of a kick out of that. Seriously though, she said she's the one who's going to make things interesting? We'll see about that. It's gonna be good for the ratings though. Really, really good.There were so many ideas rolling through her head at that point that she couldn't narrow specifics down. Then that's when something else came to her...
Oh yeah! Forgot about this one thing...they asked me to do some modeling for Devil's Night...since it's all Halloween themed and all, I did a shoot in this witch costume. It's going to be pretty hot. I wish they could have let me download some pics to show off. Hush hush type of thing.
I think you'll dig them though...along with the rest of the planet.  |
