The lights in the arena start to dim, and onto the stage steps none other the Finesse as Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" plays. Dressed to impress as usual, Finesse starts on his way down to the ring. Giving a few high fives before reaching the steps, he pics up the mic provided for him and enters the ring. Finesse then starts his address.

You know people, I've enjoyed every day that I've been here in XWA. I'm one of the guys this year who you could call a "True Rookie". Meaning that XWA is my 1st company worked for. And I've had a blast doing it. Already this year I've been given chances to become more in this company. I was hand picked to be in The American Classic, a great opportunity for me, and then again picked to be one of the 16 men in Only The Strong. Now of course, I'm not World Champion, and I don't think I should be. As good as I am, I'm not their yet. I'm man enough to admit it. I've still the rest of my craft to work on. And I plan on doin' so against the best possible competition. And right now for me, that competition comes in the form of one man. Van Hayden.

Buzz: It's about time this kid called his shot. But Van's been on fire in recent months.

Van, you've proven yourself to be the best kept secret in XWA. While everyone up until now has been chasin' the World Title and tryin' to take the Pure Title off of Kayn for the last nine months, you've quietly dominated in your National Title reign. And that's what I've been payin' attention to. You're a gritty, gutsy, balls to the wall kind of competitor, the perfect test for me at this stage of the game. Which is the reason why I'm challenging you to a match tonight. No, I'm not lookin' for a title shot, I'm just lookin' to see how far I've come along, and if I beat you tonight? Well...I guess a title shot is pretty much in the bag now, isn't it? You and me, Van. Man to man, no hate, no games. Just one man lookin' to see if he's got what it takes to match up to another.

Roach: Sounds to me like a decent enough challenge. And it looks like he won't have to wait long for an answer.

Van's music cues over the PA as all await his arrival and response.

"Omerta" fills the arena PA as Van Hayden steps out onto the stage. Still National Champion after an impressive win over MG at OTS, Van carried the title he was most proud of on his shoulder as he made his way to ringside. Sliding into the ring, Van takes a look at Finesse and gives and impressed nod before calling for a mic of his own. He then answers Finesse's challenge.

At last, I finally get a challenge from a guy who's head isn't stuck up his ass. The last few guys who have challenged me, most notably Scott O'Dell and MG, both came to find out real fast that there's more fight in me then they anticipated. Because that's what I do. Day in and day out, every week, I come out here and I do what I do best. I'm not a "Balla" or a "High Roller". I'm a blue collar guy who has busted his ass for five years to get where he is today. I'm just like you in a way, Finesse. I'm not a veteran by any means. But I have been around long enough to know the game. And long enough to know someone who's not just another face, but someone who will become a main eventer in due time. And you're definitely it, my friend.

The fans give cheer for Van paying Finesse some well deserved respect.

As far as your challenge against me tonight goes, I've got no problem with it. No problem at all. The most I can say is may the best man win.

Van extends his hand to Finesse in respect. But the gesture was pre-empted as another superstar had something to say.

How right you are, Donovan. The best man WILL win.

Boos ring out from the fans as Primo enters the arena.

You see Finesse, you're not the only man with a vested interest in Mr. Hayden. Oh no. I've been keeping my eyes on him for some time as well. Any man capable of fighting and defeating Bryan Jasta is a man who deserves watching. But sadly, people don't seem to grasp the importance of such a feat. I'm not one of them. No disrespect to the World Title, but the National Title of XWA is the company's most prestigious to date. Look at the names attached to it. Bryan Jasta. XXL. Brandon Payne. Shia Storm. And of course you. I could just as well be a World Title contender, in fact I already am. If I wanted to, whoever holds that title I could sweep away into nothingness like that. But all in due time. I'll let the simple minded men with dollar signs in their eyes kill each other over it. I'll focus my attention where there is true competition. And that...is right where you two stand.

Primo now joins both men in the ring.

In the end, that's what I truly seek. Men worthy enough to be destroyed by my hand. Granted my last outing wasn't as I planned, but rest assured Mr. Davis still has, and forever will have the lasting impression that even though he did best me, making me taste my own blood, he's still a long way off before he can truly call himself my equal, let alone my better. Very few men can do that. And from where I stand, you two fall in that same category. Simply put, I want that title. And trust me when I say that I will do and am willing to go to very great lengths to attain it. So here is my proposition. Tonight, the three of us fight in a Triple Threat match. Should I get the pinfall, the next National Title shot is mines to have. Should you Finesse get the pinfall, the shot is yours. And should you get the pin, Donovan...you can choose on your own accord who gets the title chance. A simple and sound solution, is it not?

Primo waits.

Finesse looks towards Primo with a scowl on his face. He wasn't to pleased with having his honest match turned into another of Primo's little games. But there was of course a silver lining to the matter he planned on pointing out.

You know what? Under normal circumstances I'd be plenty pissed about you comin' yo' jive turkey ass out here and tryin' to steal our thunder. But then I remember that I've got a score to settle with you. So what better way to do it tonight and earn me a shot at the National Title. Bet your Roman ass that I'm game.

All that was left was Van's answer.

[van]

Van's answer was as expected, short and to the point.

First off, next time you call me Donovan you'll be pickin' your two front teeth off the floor. Secondly, if that's what kinda match you boys want, then I'll be more then happy to oblige.

Challenge made. Challenge accepted. The focus turns back to Primo for his inevitable response.

[primo]

With a smirk of confidence, Primo retorts.

Now now now, no need for such hostility. Save all of that aggression you're known for, for later tonight. You'll need it.


Donovan.

Primo then drops his mic. With his classic evil grin, he exits the ring. He got exactly what he set out to get. Now came the execution of the plan that was now in full throw.

[van]

Van sneers as Primo leaves the ring. It was safe to say that he had no love lost for the man. He looks back to Finesse as Primo's music continues to play, and leaves the ring as well.

Roach: Leave it to Primo to do what Primo does best. Manipulate things to his advantage. This seems to good to be true, Buzz. Primo's gotta have something under his sleeve, I just know it.

Buzz: No kidding. When doesn't he. Let's just hope that both Finesse and Van don't fall prey to it. With the National Title hanging in the balance, this is going to make for one interesting two weeks for those three men.

As Finesse exits the ring as well, Takedown goes to commercial break.
