Glitter returns from a break, and the fans go wild when the instrumental of Erykah Badu' "Honey" starts to play. Rose: And here she comes ladies and gentlemen! The new Diamond Champion! What a year it's been for Jamie Fury, hasn't it Lucy?
Lucy: She had said a few weeks ago that she was the hype. I think right now as we see her walk to the ring with the most coveted prize in women's wrestling today that there's no doubt about that! It's been amazing getting the chance to watch her rise to the top of this business...And while Travis and Lucy continued to talk about Fury's rise to stardom, she enjoyed interacting with the fans down the aisle, high-fiving them, letting the people actually touch her newly owned title and continuing something a celebration of become the new champion. Finally she stepped into the ring, wearing one of her business-like "power suits" and the title in her left hand. With her right, she grabbed a mic, and it was time to speak. Wow. This has been some week for me. Getting back into the US, you have no idea how much congratulations I've been getting for winning the Diamond Title. My mom called me, my aunts, people I worked with, people I trained with, even a couple of ex-boyfriends.  Sorry fellas, you had your chances...*Waving goodbye* She grinned from ear to ear, then lifted the title to eye level, looking at the faceplate-her name engraved at the bottom. It really hadn't sunk in until right now. Me, standing in this ring, a ring not like the one that was surrounded by a Steel Cage in Athens, Greece a week ago, was just enough to final shock me back into reality. The reality being that right now, I stand here before you as the new XWADiamond Champion...And the fans paused her by acknowledging that fact with a shower of cheers and chants of the name "FURY! FURY! FURY!" ...and my first challenge as the new champion is greater than anything that any other Diamond Champion has ever faced. It's called The Devil's Playground.
2 tons of steel, glass and chains that are designed to test you not just physically, but mentally as well. It's a match that's so dangerous that the XWA only holds it once a year, and unlike last year both Platinum Titles are on the line in this match, which means unlike Sara Beck, I'm going to have to be in one of those chambers...and unlike Channelle, if I want to keep this title, I can't just simply survive...I have to WIN.Rose: She's right. There's no "saved by the bell" rule in The Playground. You've got to win at all costs, and high ones at that!
That's one tall task to complete...but it's one that's fitting the woman that they call "The Diamond Dominator"!!! There's no challenge that I wont take head on and face without fear, and Devil's Night isn't going to be any different!!!Her confident and enthusiastic words would soon be interrupted though as another one of the chosen Diamonds to the match would make their appearance... |

It was No Doubt's "Just A Girl", and seconds after to began to play Alexis Valentine, the surprise pick of the Playground match soon stepped out to greet the fans. Despite not being able to stop Tiffany Masterson from winning at OTS, Alexis was still as optimistic as ever. You could tell from her body language coming down to the ring that she was excited. Stepping into the ring, she smiled and nodded towards Fury.
Jamie, let me be the first XWA personnel to congratulate you on winning that Diamond Title. It shouldn't be a surprise to know that a lot of us were rooting for you, heck...I even won 20 bucks myself. 
You're right about one thing though, now it's all about the Devil's Playground and I've gotta be honest with you, I would never have imagined that they were going to pick me to be in it. I haven't had the best season as far as winning when it matters the most, but the important thing I guess is that the front office has decided to reward me for never quitting through all of it. Jamie, that's not going to be any different either, not at Devil's Night!
She nods again. Alexis too was feeling fairly confident.
We're no strangers. Months ago you and I stepped in this ring and you beat me fair and square. At that point I was out here with the desire to push myself to the limit and beyond, and that hasn't changed. Now, we're talking about the Diamond Title being at stake in the most dangerous match in the XWA. That's going to push each and every person who's been chosen to be in this match, man or woman. Jamie, I came out here to tell you that this right here is going to be the biggest match of my career by far and that I've got every intention to give my all in that match and come out the Diamond Champion.
She looks Fury eye-to-eye now as focused as anyone in the XWA has ever seen the woman before.
With a woman like you in this match, that's something everyone is going to have to realize, that anything less than the best you've got isn't going to cut it. I don't know if I'm there yet, but Jamie...you better believe that I'm going to try my damnest to get there, and to get that title!

That's when suddenly, "Bad Girl" began to play and the woman befitting the song, the former Diamond Champion, stepped out on the stage. She wasn't a happy person.
A mic in her hand, she began to speak...
As you can probably tell, I'm not in a good mood right now. It's not because I lost the Diamond Championship either. It's because in order to win it back, I have to step into the brainchild of our sadistic CEO, The Devil's Playground. Honestly, I think Carmella Blackheart had to have been a dominatrix or something at some point in her life.
I was around to watch the DP matches last year...and now I'm supposed to step into something like THAT to win back MY title? If you want to talk about stacking the deck, there you have it!
It would have been fine if it were just you and me a one-on-one rematch like I rightfully deserve Jamie, but nooooooooo!!! Now you add four other Diamonds into the mix, and you can just throw the odds to the wind. Let's face it, there's a good chance that anyone can win this match...ANYONE!!!
From a sorry excuse of a "veteran" wrestler, to a frigid Brit who only wishes that she could be as bad AND as good as me, to a couple of nobodies I haven't even heard of until now, any of them can walk out the Diamond Champion if they get lucky enough!!!
She began to raise her voice over the boos that followed her everywhere. ;D
Yeah, that's right...I said the "L" word, because that's the only way that a career underdog like you Alexis would ever win this match! Just like Hayley Jonas said, you've all got yourselves an ally who without it, you wouldn't even shine my boots!
Channelle sighed heavy, setting her left hand onto her hip. She stood for a few moments in silence, shaking her head.
Lucy: She's got a point, and a reason to be a little frustrated. The structure is going to play a role in the match's outcome, I guarantee you that!
Rose: It isn't just going to be Fury's greatest challenge, it's going to be everyone's who sets foot inside of that thing...
But you know what? I've made my career on beating the odds. Nobody thought I'd walk out of the The American Classic with the title, but I did. At Devil's Night I'll make it 2-for-2. Even with so much riding against me and my continued dominance over the Diamonds, I'll rise above the adversity like a true champion and walk into XGAMES with that belt in my hands once again...and all will be right in the world!

The phrase made Jamie laugh just a bit off her mic before she brought it back to her lips.
I think that you've got this a little confused don't you? There's only one Diamond Dominator in the XWA, and right now she's the one at the top of the mountain. As far as I'm concerned Channelle, all IS right in the world, because the best wrestler in the Diamond Division today is the one who holds the Diamond Title!
Jamie raised the belt off of her shoulder to the fans, to Alexis and to Channelle standing in the distance. The cameras of course get a nice close up of the faceplate before she rests it onto her shoulder once more.
And the woman who takes it from me at Devil's Night will rightfully have to go through HELL in order to do it! I don't know about you, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
Now, since we're all out here let's follow the trend and give these people a sneak peek of DN later tonight. A triple threat between the three of us! I know you're just dying to get some payback on me, aren't you Channelle...and Alexis, I'm just dying to see for myself if you're really ready to take things to the next level. So what do you ladies say? |

Sounds good to me. You're going to be in for a little surprise Jamie, I can guarantee you that!
With a smile on her face she nodded to the champ, accepting the proposal. Her friendly demeanor changed quickly though when she faced the stage to address the former champion.
And the other thing that I can guarantee when this is all said and done Channelle is that might not know who I am now, but you will. It'll be ringing in your ear like the bells I intend on ringing in your head!
Just what makes you think that you're so special? The only thing you've done was take a bull by the horns and ride it out as long as you could. Anyone can do that, and I think that it's about time that I follow that trend. I mean, if it worked for you, imagine what that could do for someone these fans actually like?
Alexis knew that was going to get a charge out of Channelle, and she waited with a sly little grin on her face for the response.

What makes me special? Darling, just look at me!!! I've got all the things that girls like you wish you had, style, looks, smarts AND skills. And what's more, the fact that I'll never lower myself to having to appease to these fickle idiots out here just to get attention.
Her crack on the fans got her a huge pop-the other way of course.
Obviously you're too dumb to see that pandering to these buttheads only limits you. You know my motto- "Whatever It Takes". That means do whatever you have to do to win and don't give a crap about what the rules, the fans, the critics or the haters have to say. That leads to one thing and one thing alone...success!!! And that's what it's all about.
Nobody does it like I can do it...nobody. I'll be more than happy to show you tonight.

And I'll be happy to show you tonight that I'm not going to do it like you do it Channelle...I'm going to do it better! This is my chance to make my star rise high, and you better believe that Lex is gettin' her shine on!
Those were the last words she had to say dropping the mic to the mat. It was her music that began to play now as she made a confident stride up the aisle now. Alexis stopped right at the stage and gave Channelle a look up and down before she made her way backstage.

Channelle eye's were slinked down in a scowl as Alexis made her exit. She had some nerve...
Without a word said, she looked back down the aisle into the ring and the new champion, in an even more bitter mood than she was when she came out.

All Jamie could do was grin from ear to ear and shrug her shoulders. It was quite amusing seeing the sudden spurt of charisma from Alexis...it would be even more amusing to see whether her talent in the ring was on the rise as well.
