BuZZ: Hello ladies and gentleman. Welcome to XWA Takedown !!! Tonight, on whats already been a history making night. Earlier in th evening. We all heard the announcement from Rodolphe Gallas concerning the six participants in the Devil's Playground match. FOUR, count em', FOUR former World Heavyweight Champions: Ethan Bain, Brandon Payne, Robby Sylk, and Pollox Troy. Along with XWA World Champ XXL and one of XWA Rising Stars in Nathan Browne will face off in one of the most brutal matches in XWA history.

Roach: Unbelievable ! And thats not all. Tonight, right here on Takedown. TWO of those men will face off against each other for the first time ever. Brandon Payne vs Nathan Browne. Based on BP's previous history in Atlanta. Were billing this match: "New Blood vs Young Blood". As both men in action have alot to prove. Payne, coming off of a loss against XXL. You know he's pumped up and ready to take out some of his frustrations on the young mind, Nathan Browne.

BuZZ: Poor Nathan is all I gotta say. After the clinic we saw between XXL and Brandon Payne. A match that could've easily gone in either direction. We both know that Payne can go with the best of em'. And tonight, I think with all due respect to Nathan Browne. I'm not so sure if he can defeat Brandon Payne.

As the commentary continues. Brandon Payne's theme music begins to play loudly. Payne walks out, dressed in casual street clothes receiving a neutral reaction from the crowd.

BuZZ: He seems to be in a very laid back mood. Acting as if the match between he and XXL didn't happen (laughs).

Roach: After Only the Strong went off the air. Brandon Payne took out his frustrations once again on Joe Beakman during an interview exclusively on XWA.com. Here is some footage of that:

BuZZ: WOW !

Roach: Vintage Brandon Payne at his best. Never letting anyone.. and I mean ANYONE get to him. Especially that jerk Joe Beakman !

BuZZ: As we see Brandon Payne reach the ring. Wonder what he will have to say about Gallas' Announcement earlier tonight ?

Payne, now standing in the center of the ring. Grabs a microphone from the nearby stage hand. Raises the mic to his lips then begins to speak:

You know, coming into tonight's event. I gotta say I was a bit...relieved. After my loss with XXL. In the back of my mind. I figured I wouldn't receive another title shot until much much later down the line. But arriving here tonight and hearing Gallas' little announcement. Hearing that I was one of the chosen participants. Really gave me that good feeling inside. Because now, not only will get the chance to defeat XXL once and for all and take his World Championship. I'll also have the opportunity to take down five of XWA's finest athletes.

XXL. You gotta understand somethin' right here and now. Yes ! As I told you after Only the Strong. I do respect you a great deal. But when it comes down to it. That championship belt you carry around so proudly over your shoulder ? Will come home to the Wrestling Elite.

Fans give off a neutral reaction.

You see, you beat me this past sunday. I'll give you credit, you were the better man on that day. Best rest assure, as god as my witness. At Devil's Playground, I will do absolutely anything it takes to achieve the one destiny that has alluded me for almost two years. The XWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Aside from XXL. You have guys like Pollox Troy. A man who is about as intimidating as a woman PMS'ing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

BuZZ: HaHa !

Fans also start to chuckle a little bit.

Then you have that big...muscular....hot-headed.....smelly....neanderthal of an ape, Donkey Kong !

Roach: Who's Donkey Kong !?

BuZZ: I think he's referring to Ethan Bain, Roach.

Roach: Ohhhh, gotcha covered (laughs).

Payne then starts pounding his chest like an ape as the fans burst out in laughter.

Believe me folks. If those big 'guns' don't kill ya. The stinch coming outta those armpits of his will. I got two words for ya, Ethan:

More chuckles could be heard from both the crowd, and the ring announcers.

Moving on... we have XXL.

A big pop from the crowd ensues as his name his mentioned:

'Champ' ! We go way back. I'm not gonna come out here and insult you like I've done the others. Because I think we did enough of that the other night. But do me one favor. Keep that belt nice and warm for me. You may have 1-upped me before. But I'm not gonna let that happen again.

Then lastly, we have my opponent for this evening. Nathan Browne !

Another pop from the crowd ensues.

Nathan. Gotta be honest with ya lil' man. I dunno a whole lot about cha. But I'm sure after tonight's match. I'm gonna know all that I need to know. Your a bright young kid, Browne. You held your own against the likes of my good friend, Michael Xavier and also guys like Magnus Von Schwartz. But buddy boy ! This is the big time. Do I think you can hang on the main event level ? Potentially, yes. Will you succeed or fail ? Well, as long as I'm around. Consider me your road block ! Because there isn't a chance in hell that I'm gonna let some punk kid like you take away my opportunity of being World Heavyweight Champion once again.

The crowd this time begins to boo Brandon Payne.

See, you have may have earned your chance to be in the Devil's Playground match like the rest of us. But the fact remains is that your just a small, innocent puppy going into the ring with 5 of the biggest, meanest, hungriest dogs in this game today. For the record, I'm not gonna hesitate for a second to chew you up and spit you out if the opportunity presents itself at Devil's Night.

And tonight, here on TakeDown. Your gonna get a small taste of the hell that I'm gonna bring to you and the four other unlucky chosen ones.

So Nate ! I know your back there listening. I'm sure your gonna have plenty to...

Before Payne could finish. He is cut off...

Say? Yeah, I do have plenty to say.

Nate walks out onto the stage. Holding a mic, he walks halfway down the entrance ramp and stops.

You're my road block, hmm? So, what you're saying is you're going to be blocking me on the highway to success. That'd be all fine and dandy if I was rolling in a smart car, but I'm not. You, my friend, are nothing more than a 3 foot guard rail that's trying to block out my monster truck. Good luck with that.

You're not looking for a little punk to stop you? Neither am I....punk. I have two main goals this year, and intend on achieving both. One, WORLD CHAMPION. Yes, The Devil's Playground is my last chance at achieving this one. Don't think I'll just lay down and die for you. I never have and I never will. I'll grab the bull by the horns and ride it to wards the platinum.

Two, I have my sights set on one award come the awards ceremony. Rookie..of..the..year. Last years rookie of the year will be in the Playground, and this years will be too. Being the rookie of the year is a great, great, great award to achieve, Brandon. It says "This individual will go far. Real far." Ethan has gone far...and now it's my turn. Nothing you can do will stop me achieving either of my goals. You, the little road block, will be run over.

BuZZ: Wow is this kid a bunch of words or what? Until he achieves something great, he ain't nothing!

Mike: Give him time, BuZZ. He has potential.

Nate takes a step back and looks Brandon over.

I mean, yeah, you're a former world champion. Good for you, but as far as I'm concerned, it means nothing, because it's not here that you achieved it. No offense meant to where you come from and the company you won the top title at, but it's nothing compared to the brutality of the X. So, until you win big here in XWA, you have NOTHING.

Your a funny man Nathan. Very stupid... but funny nonetheless.

You see, I'm well aware of the fact that its what you do here in XWA that counts. Yes, I know that rule quite well.

But the fact is, I have something you don't have. The experience factor. See, little rookies like you can't hang with the big boys when the pressure is on. Thats just the way it is in our business. Where you little punks have youth over us. We have the star power. Your good Nathan, I'll give ya that. But not main event material.

Fans start to boo really loudly.

BuZZ: Payne putting down the young rookie. When we all know good and well that Browne deserves to be at the main event level as much as anyone else. Who does Brandon Payne think he is ?

Roach: I'll tell you who he is ? He's Brandon Payne, the Wrestling Elite ! The Best of the Best and Nothing...

BuZZ: Ah SHUT UP Roach ! Your ego is about as big as Payne's. You two should get a room together.

Roach: Ha ! Very funny BuZZ. You wouldn't know talent if it came up and bitch slapped you in the face.

I've been in big situations before. Main Event matches, title matches, you name it. Out of all the men thats competing in Devil's Playground. I'd have to say that I hold the advantage with the experience. When the times comes. I'm also going to prove that I am the very best in this industry. BAR NONE !

There is no comparison. There is no even playing field. There is only one true KING of professional wrestling.. and your lookin' at him, Brandon Payne !

All you are Browne is talk. As I always say, Don't Talk It, Walk It !

Thats the difference between you and I. All you rookies are the same. You come out here, throw out a few wise cracks, and spit on the veterans. All you guys have no respect for the people that paved the way.

Me on the other hand. I have respect and pride. Two things you know nothing about. Respect for all the veterans and this company. Pride for what I do for a living.

You kids today, when a veteran comes into the locker room. Instead of doing right thing. Giving up your chair for one of the vets. to have seat. You guys look at us and say, 'Who the hell are you ?'.

You may go far in this industry. But exactly HOW far will you go ? Well, as long as I have my cross hairs centered between your eyes. Your not going to go much further Nathan. This is the end of the line. Enjoy your 10 minutes of fame at Devil's Playground. Once its all said and done. You'll have your beady little eyes locked on the eyes of your NEW XWA World Heavyweight Champion !

Fans begin to boo once more. Payne is really turning up the heat on this one.

What these fans, or what you think doesn't matter to me. Fact is, I'm the best thing walkin' on gods green earth.

Lets face it. I'm in a league all to myself. An Elite like no other, PERIOD ! You are just a stepping stone. A rock that I have jump across in order to grab the brass ring at the end of the path.

You can stand there and call me 'nothing' all you want. As a matter of fact, you really shouldn't be talking about yourself like that. We all know that your a loser, but no need to humiliate yourself even further. I mean, you just standing out here attempting to compare yourself to the likes of me is embarrassing enough.

Tell ya what, though. I'm in a giving mood this evening. I'll make this easy on you. I'm going to give you a choice:

A: You can walk out of this ring, back to your little locker room, and forfeit this match.

B: You can lie down on the mat. I'll put my foot over your chest, and get the 1,2,3.

And for 'C' ! Well... lets just say, you don't wanna know what option 'C' is. Because if you go that route. I'm going to beat you like a dog and send you back to the dog pound crying your little eyes out.

So there's your choices, Nathan. You can do things the easy way, or we can do things the hard way.

BuZZ: Does Payne really expect for Nathan to go for 'A' or 'B' ?

Roach: If he's smart man, he would. He doesn't want anything to do with Brandon Payne. Payne would kill him in 2 seconds.

BuZZ: I beg to differ on that one.

Payne lowers the mic. Waiting in anticipation, just as the fans are at ringside. As to what Browne will say next !?

I'll tell you what, Brandon. You give me the choice, I give you the decision. A, B, C? I choose D.

Roach: I'm assuming the kid is dull.

D is the option for me. What's option D, you ask? It's where I come to the ring, you come to the ring, I hit you with a few kicks, punch your face in a bit, smack you up with some of my technical wizardry, then allow you to feel the massacre. The one and only, massacre, Brandon, The Maple Leaf Massacre. A move you've never felt before, and surely a move you'd be best to avoid.

You can make up all your jokes about people, you can claim I'm all talk, but at the end of the day it's the man who's put the most work into perfecting their own technique. It's the man who comes in seeking the win, and come Devil's Night, that's all I'm doing, seeking the win.

Sure, I'm the underdog. I always have been, and likely I always will be due in part to my size. However, it's not about body size, Payne. It's about heart size. It's about who has the heart to give up, even though they know they have a cut the size of Texas under their eye. It's about who has the heart to get up after taking the beating of their life, and give some back. You, my friend, don't have much heart as far as I'm concerned. You don't have respect for your opponents, even after you get beat week after week after week. You have little to no respect for XWA, hell, I doubt you even have respect for wrestling in whole. For that, I don't respect you. Tonight, it's not going to be fun and games. If I bloodied one of my TRUE friends, Osiris, just to get to the title, just imagine what I'll do to you tonight.

You're only right about one, count 'em, one thing. The fact that after The Playground is raised, and all is said in done, I'll have my eyes on the new XWA World Champion. I'll be looking down at my waste, examine the beauty I fought long and hard for.

Nathan lowers his hands to his waste and rubs slowly across, showing the "title" taunt.

You wanna talk about heart lil man ? Don't even go there, Browne. Wrestlers who put there lives on the line day in and day out. Make all the sacrifices both in and out of the ring. Wrestlers, who sacrifice having a normal life in order to live the lifestyle of a pro wrestling. As I also said earlier. Competing week in, week out. Sick or Hurt, THAT my friend is heart !Don't even start to question mine, bro. I give as much heart as humanly possible for the XWA and for these fans. Whether you, or the fans love me or hate me. I always come in and give it my all no matter what. You on the other hand are just talk in my view. You haven't really proved much to me in these last few months.

Yeah sure, you had a couple of great feuds to get you to this point. Question is, can you really back up your word at Devil's Playground ? Will you walk out the World Champion ? Highly unlikely. Not because of your abilities. But because my friend, you have no HEART ! You don't have that drive like myself, or any other former or current World Champion has. You are just like all the other young punks. Come out here and flap your little gums about how you guys are so superior to the vets. It makes me sick to my stomach to tell the truth.

However, at Devil's Night. I got the chance to set the wrongs things right. I'm gonna go in that match and beat the holy hell out of all five of ya. Tonight, is just the beginning of things to come.

I am the Elite. And at Devil's Playground ? I'm gonna prove it...

Payne slams the microphone down. Giving one last glare at Browne. You can see the intensity built up in his eyes. How badly he wanted to bash this guys brains out. Well, tonight. Brandon Payne will have that opportunity. Will he succeed ?

Payne afterwards, makes his exit from the ring to the backstage area.
