Dethroning The Ogres (Bruzas)

As Overload returns from a break, The entrance theme of XWA's new Tag Team Champions plays over the PA. The crowd gave mixed reactions as Ray & Matt emerge from backstage with the Tag Team Titles draped over their shoulders. The brothers quickly make their way down to the ring and enter. Mics are provided, and they make their 1st address as champions in XWA.

Take a look at what you see ladies and germs. Take a nice...looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong look. Because you're going to be seeing this for a long, looooooooooooooooooooooooong time. In one fell swoop, me and my brother Matt here did what no other team in XWA could. We took the Tag Team titles off of the "Unbeatable" Bruzas.

And how did we do it? Did we out fight them? Nope. Did we out wrestle them? Didn't need to. What it came down to is what we've been saying all along, and what we've proven from day one in XWA. That's we are the best team going today, because we're the SMARTEST team going today. What the former champs forgot to realize is that the team that wins isn't the one who gets the 1st elimination, it's the team who gets the last elimination. And wouldn't you knot it? It was us.

The near 9 month reign of the Orges over the XWA Tag Team division is over. And the reign of the best damn tag team period has begun. We came, we saw, we conquered. And tonight, we celebrate. So me and Matt here are gonna take our newly won Titles and...

They're soon pre-empted by the entrance theme of the former champions.

The Bruzas step into the AT&T Center, and they were as you would expect...pissed. The "Spokesman" of the duo Nic had mic in hand.

You two lil' punks think you're so hot, don't ya? Let me and my brother here do the work and you slip on in to get the last pinfall. Yea, you think it's smart, but it only shows that you two are YELLOW! That's right, YELLOW!!! You didn't pin either of us for those titles, so that fact is that we never lost 'em. And as former champs, we're exercising our right for a rematch...TONIGHT. It's time for you ladies to man up!

They intently await the response of The Burns Brothers.

Ray & Matt take a look at each other, then at the titles on their shoulders before saying in tandem-

YOU'RE ON!

Ray would add...

And after we beat you two big oafs, the message to the rest of the Tag Team Division will be crystal clear. And the message? When you play with fire...

...You get THE BURNS.

With confident grins on their faces, Ray & Matt lower their mics. Their music cues over the PA once more as they look on at their opponents for the evening.

Nic & Ric look on as well. Nic turns to Ric and mutters something in his ear that brings a smile to his face (Though obviously with their unruly hair you'd never see it). They both turn and head backstage. They got what they came for, all that was left was to get their retribution.
