OTS returns from a previous segment with the reigning X-Gen Champion, the brash Brian Yang, taking center stage. As he props the title belt on his shoulder, he raises his mic to speak.
It's been a little over a month and change since I've appeared on XWA TV. I've been over here in Europe promoting XWA and wrestling in it's London Territory. But just because I've been away doesn't mean I've forgotten what's up. Or shall I say "who's" up. And that man is YOU, Evan Fate.
The crowd bursts into cheer at the mention of Evan's name.
Yea, yea, yea, cheer that one trick pony on all you like. You people are all blinded by his damn hype. 2nd Generation wrestler, in ring "innovator", XWA "Hotbody" winner, blah blah blaaaaaaaaah! It makes me puke how all of you people go ga-ga over the guy. A guy who has to blindside someone from behind to get his point across. Yea, you all forgot that, right? ID08? I just got finished beating Pablo Reyes' ass for this title and all of sudden Evan pops out from the crowd and spears me out of my kick pads. And everyone just ate it up. Well the time has come for things to get settled, Evan. I've waited long enough. Tonight, it's you and me, in this ring for the X-Gen Title. Your humbling has been a long time coming, Fate. And I'm just the man to deliver it.
Yang lowers his mic. A few seconds pass before Evan's music cues over the PA.

Evan steps into the arena met with typical fanfare. He doesn't waste any time making his way down to the ring and calling for a mic. He then faces Yang and responds to his challenge.
Tell me something, Brian...
"Why so serious?"
The fans get a kick out of the Joker reference.
Yea, I speared you after you won the X-Gen Title at ID08. So what? You had been talking for weeks beforehand about how you were destined to win, and the most skilled competitor in the whole Division. Well if there's one thing that I'M the best at, it's making statements. And I do believe my statement was pretty clear. I've been in the biz for 3 years now. Which isn't very long by any means. But there's one thing that I've never had in those 3 years. A championship. Not because I wasn't capable of carrying one, we ALL know the answer to that. But because my career up to this point has been about establishing myself beyond that of my pop and my two "brothers" Jay-J and Jon. Well I think I've more then firmly established myself as being my own man. And wouldn't you know it? The X-Gen Title is the PERFECT title for me. And with that spear, I made my intent clear. There's no mistaking your good, Yang. But are you good enough to outlast me? That's what We're going to find out tonight.

Brian scoffs at Evan's response. He raises his mic and speaks one of his own.
CanI outlast you? Are you serious? Not only can I outlast you, I'm gonna run freakin' RINGS around your ass tonight. You're wrong about something, Fate. There are two things in your career you haven't had. #1 is a Championship reign. #2 is a sound ass kicking. And I can give you the later in spades tonight. I wanna see the look in everyone's eyes, all of these screaming fans when I kick your face off, pin you, and walk out of this arena the reigning X-Gen Champ. Since you want to bring up outlasting each other, I've got the perfect match for us to have. An Ironmatch match. 20 minutes is all the time I need to put your ass in check.
With a confident grin, Yang waits for Fate's answer.

Evan ponders the possibilities for just a brief moment before replying...
Done. You want me in and Ironman match? You've got it. But if you think for even just one second that I can't go the distance, you're in for a lethal dose of REALITY.
CHECK MATE.
Evan's music hits the PA once more. With a grin on his face, he sets his mic on the ground. Backing away from Yang, Evan slides out from under the bottom rope. As he backs up the ramp, he make the title motion around his waste. 20 minutes would be the time to tell if his quest for the X-Gen Title would succeed or fail.

As Fate departs, Yang smirks and holds the title high over his head. This would be a contest of will more then skill between the two, as Brian knew even with his unimpressed words, Fate was more then a match for him. The scene ends with a shot of Yang and the X-Gen Title in the ring.
The End.
