***Safe Home by Anthrax is the music of the recently triumphant Kim Hunter in her successful defence of her Sapphire titles. She did have other thoughts on her mind at the moment, so she decided to head down to the ring. The statement would be a bold one, and also one she felt deserving of. She hoped into the ring as she started to speak***
The defence of our Sapphire Titles officialy means one thing for me, the end of my troubles with Ms. Nagano.....she can say whatever she wishes about that match, but as far as I'm concerned, the business is closed. We finished them in a spectacular fashion, and its not like her and I are mortal enemies around here.....
No, I have enough of those already, I don't another....so I'm ending it on peaceful terms with her.
***She paused***
I didn't step foot out here to brag or to just droan on like that....no that's not what I planned at all....it's all about the future for me.
My future is simple, in October, at Devil's Night.....I will be in the Devil's Playground match, plain and simple, not only that but I will be triumphant in that match. I've paid my dues around here, and regardless of what people think of me, I deserve that damn chance.
Why because a year ago, I took on Heather Fierhart for the Diamond Championship and lost....but it was a learning experience......what I learned is that since her and Ashley, there has not been ONE damn decent Diamond Champion.
No offence to Roze or anything....but honestly those original two girls to me have been the greatest.....and now the people that have it, horrible. I have the most important thing, experience, and if not one of these girls around here now what's to treat me with a lick of respect. Fuck them all.
***She spit on the ground***
I'm gonna be in that Devil's Playground match because I've paid my dues through the years, scrapped my way to where I am.....and I AM the Diamond Devil....remember that.

***She shrugged her shoulders after awhile***
It's funny this is EXACTLY what I expected, give all you Diamonds backstage a chance to come down here claiming that you are the top shit around here, and "deserve" the shot more than I do.
And what do you do with that chance, show me one thing, that NONE of you have the gall to say or do anything about it.
There's another reason why I deserve this shot, because I am one of the only Diamonds maybe not so much backing up my talk this year, but still coming out night after god damn night to truck along and prove that I am one of the best.
What has it gotten me so far this year......a big fucking slap in the face.......what has doing FUCK NOTHING gotten other people, title shot after title shot, a cushy position in the division, and all the perks that come along with it.
I am the one who's gonna be in and win that match because I DESERVE IT, more than anyone else in the god damn locker room........

*Boos would ring out from the crowd as the duo quickly becoming one of the most hated on Glitter emerge from backstage. As was to be expected, they weren't pleased from the results of the last match. But never one to miss a golden opportunity, Ina speaks out.*
Would you like some cheese with that "whine", Gaijin?
*Ina smirks and continues on.*
This right here is the exact reason your career is a failure. Why you are old news. You were triumphant in your defense of the Sapphire Titles at Solstice. You and your blond little ho friend. And even so, you're still non-existent in the eyes of the rest of the roster. Your accomplishments mean nothing to anyone but yourself. The definition of obscurity if ever I've seen one. Face it Kim, you're yesterday's garbage. Why would any of the other females in XWA even bother with you? It'd be like taking a step back in the pecking order. Which begs the question as to why we're even wasting our time. The answer is on your shoulder. The Sapphire Titles are the only things keeping both you and your non-existent partner on the radar, otherwise you both would have fallen off the map months ago. And I think it's time we put the chapter of "The Diamond Devils" to rest. You both aren't good, you're lucky. But there's a thin line between the two. At Solstice, you barely crossed over one side, but believe you me at Only The Strong, we push you over the other.
*Ina & Bull wait to hear Kim's reply.*

***Kim gets blunt and to the point***
And what exactly would that be ??

*With a cheeky grin, Ina lays it out.*
Oh, it's quite simple, Gaijin. The two of us, the two of you, and the Sapphire Titles on the line...
In a STEEL CAGE MATCH.
*Ina continues to smile as she and Nagano await the reaction.*

Well, I heard from the grapevine that there is going to be a cage built for one title match at OTS, so why not put some extra mileage into the thing?
The voice that came from backstage was that of the other half of the Sapphire Champions. She made the walk down to the ring, tossing her belt inside before she slid in afterwards.
But you know what really irks me? The hell with your challenge for right now, we'll get to that later. What I really just looooooove is you coming out here and running your mouth a week or so after I made your big for nothing ass TAP OUT. So let me get this straight, these titles are the only thing keeping us "on the radar" now, are they? Well, I wonder why it is that we've had them so long then?
Two reasons, 1- there hasn't been many others who've stepped up, and 2- those who have learned the hard way that we're not the bitches to mess with. I'm about sick and tired of hearing all of you enema-bags talk about how I'm the one carrying this team and blah, blah, blah. It takes two to be a successful tag team, not one. You two should probably learn that sometime and you MIGHT actually beat us one day, someday...
Hayley taps a finger to her chin for a few seconds.
Oh wait! That's what the cage is for! Since it's obvious that Scrawny and Chunky can't beat The Devils in a fair one, what better way to do it than with a weapon? I think that we've all been around long enough to know that's exactly what the Steel Cage is...a weapon that can end careers if in the right hands, and sure as hell title runs. A brilliant strategy there Bull, brilliant!
You've got your little Cage match, but only because that's probably the only way in hell that you'll give us a fight and the only way in hell you have a chance to win. Don't say that we aren't fair!

*With a surprised yet unimpressed smirk, Ina responds in kind.*
Well now, look who finally decided to crawl out from underneath her rock? "The Hellcat" in the flesh. Should we bow? *Giggle* Since we're on the subject of what we're sick of, allow me to indulge. What I'm most sick of is the fact that you both seem to enjoy tooting your own horns. Of course you both have such success as a team. You have to get over some how, do you not? Seeing as you both are pathetic singles competitors, it makes perfect sense that you put it together as a team. Yes, you did make Bull Nagano submit in our last match. But it could have went either way in the end. Funny how you Gaijins never acknowledge when you've been matched. Only the fact that you win. That's what sickens me. Not that we lost, but that we lost to you. Two of the most disgusting, degrading, disreputable excuses for women in the industry. Gutter trash at best. Simple minded brawlers who know maybe a few lucky submission holds. So we get to see how good the two of you are in a match more in your element.
"You've got your little Cage match, but only because that's probably the only way in hell that you'll give us a fight and the only way in hell you have a chance to win. Don't say that we aren't fair."
It sounds more to me like you're more afraid that you'll be upstaged then given a fight, Gaijin. But if you both are so good as you make it so apparent everytime you open your trash ridden mouths, what kinda of match we have shouldn't be an issue, should it? Or...is that a hint of concern I hear in your voices? It should be. Because Bull and I expose the two of you for your weakness to the world.

A match? For us?
She suddenly busts out laughing.
I think your brain must've been in Hokkaido while your body was in Vegas, cuz as I recall it we were kicking your asses from pillar to frakkin' post all...night...long.
Do you know why I toot my horn here? It's really simple...because I can. I've been a tag team champion with three different partners in my career, and I've done pretty damn well when I ran solo, too. The only woman in the world who can say they beat Heather Fierhart last year. The best damn female wrestler in this business not to win a World Title, and why? Because I really don't need one to show that I'm the best as what I do. All the broken noses, bones and spirits that I leave in the ring are reward enough for me, and there are enough of them on the list for me to write a book about and double that amount who're too freakin' scared to even look in my direction!
I'm not an old dog veteran, but I am that one girl who's done it her way from day one, and it's gotten me pretty far. If you don't like me talking, the feeling is mutual, and that goes for a whole lot of the other wanna-bes and can't-bes in the back. The difference between us and them though is that we CAN talk, we can talk as much as we want to...because we've made the rounds and done the damage everywhere we've been...INCLUDING the XWA, so if you've got a problem with that you can kiss my ass.
Now she lifts the championship belt up off of the ground.
Now, as far as you upstaging us, or us being scared...you're on a roll Ina, really. Last I checked here, you two were the challengers. That means that this will be your match to win. Even if you do that, it's only going to even the score and give you a title...but I suppose that you'll be the ones coming out here and gloating about how you beat the Diamond Devils anyway like it's an Olympic Gold Medal...that right there is the total opposite of upstaging. In the States we call it getting up.
We beat you, it's just another Sunday night in Athens because the world is expecting us to beat you, but you beat us and suddenly you're the ones on the map. You're the ones who pull of the big win...upset dare I say, because you better believe you won't get us as easy as we did you at Solstice. Oh no, you're going to earn these belts.
I call it like I see it, and just like I said, you'll be giving us a fight, period. You'll be giving us the fight of your damn lives if you want to walk out champions. You already know what we can do, and you know that's just enough to beat you like we've done everyone else around here. In your case though, you need a little help, and I'm not knocking you for that ladies.
You just tend to think that a Cage is going to make you that much more dangerous, not realizing that it does the same for us. That's going to be one big mistake to make right there, babe.

*Ina looks to Bull first with a smirk, then speaks her final retort to the champions.*
I'm glad that your level of confidence is so high. And I say that in regards to both of you. Yes, we know exactly what you bring to the table. But you two have no idea how far Bull and I can and are willing to go in our quest. A quest to prove that you Gaijins are as inferior wrestlers to us as your society is to ours as well. So by all mean, enjoy the fact that you defeated us. And pride yourselves in thinking you'll do so again. As my Sensei once told me "Those who perceive themselves through false success will only find true failure." Wrap that around your brains, and we'll see the two of you in Athens.
*With that, Ina and Bull take their leave of the ring.*
