Recently a press conference was held by Loki Alverton and was covered by reporters from The1XWA.net as well as reporters from many national newspapers. Everyone waited for the conference to begin as Loki Alverton took a seat behind a table of microphones. He cleared his throat as he pulled a prewritten statement from the inside of his jacket pocket.
Many of you may have been wondering on where I have been as of late. Recently my life has taken a turn for the worse. The company that my father worked so hard to build into a multimillion dollar corporation has come under the scrutiny of the Federal Trade Commission. It seems that the men that I had sold the company to have been involved with some underhanded dealings and unlawful acts, all to which I am not at liberty to disclose any information about. Due to the problems, all assets that are associated with the Fujuaki Corporation, the company that bought Alverton Conglomerate, and all their subsidiaries have been frozen. I, as the major shareholder in my former company, have been at the mercy of the FTC as well as the land walking sharks these unethical “businessmen” call attorneys for quite some time. Recently, thanks to the board of directors, I have been asked to step back into the place of C.E.O. of what was once the Alverton family company. So what does all this mean you may be asking yourself. In a nutshell and with a heavy heart I must announce my early and, for the foreseeable future, permanent retirement from the world of professional wrestling effective immediately. People who have known me for a good portion of my life know that I had secretly held a place in my heart to be a professional wrestler and the day I was signed to the XWA was one of the happiest days in my life. In my short career as a professional wrestler I have made some good friends, many of which I hope to have life long friendships with and those people will know how to contact me. I wish to also thank the staff at the XWA for allowing me to make an attempt at something I could have only hoped to achieve in my life and in the future would be honored to work with Mr. Gallas, Ms. Blackheart, and the rest of the XWA on a business side of things. Finally, I wish to thank everyone who stood by me in this endeavor and never once lost faith in me or my abilities. To any fans who were looking forward to a long and lustrous career for Loki Alverton, I sincerely apologize and hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me, however my family’s legacy is first and foremost in my life and I refuse to let anyone destroy it. Ladies and gentlemen of the press, thank you for your time.[/font]
Loki then stood up from the table and took his leave from the conference with many of the reporters trying to get further comments from Loki, however Loki just walked off the stage, not paying attention to any of them.
OOC: To anyone that was going to work some things with me, I apologize. I have unfortunately lost interest in this character and instead of taking up a slot with a character that I don’t know what to do, I figured I’d give someone else a chance to sign up and join the fun that is the XWA. So effective now I'm outta here. If the staff wants me to delete the account I will or they can make me inactive so I can pop in occasionally and say hello, whatever's clever. I'll still be lurking and checking out how things progress. Much love to ya all.
