Backstage at the Solstice event, Fabiola now stood with the new Pure Champion to talk about the future of the title and of his XWA tenure.
Fab says: My guest at this time is the new XWAPure Champion, Magnus Von Schwartz.
He stood as always in one of his black business suits, the title resting firmly on his shoulder.
Fab: Magnus, you have been on quite a roll as of late. Last TakeDown you did the impossible by beating the then undefeated Kayn to capture you're first XWA title. How does it feel?
Some would say that me defeating Kayn was the biggest win of my professional career. They would be wrong. I do not rate my matches based on victory, I base them on challenge. Kayn is a valiant man, a tremendous competitor. The same could be said of all the men I have face so far in the XWA, from Syrus to Jon Payne, from Robby Sylk to Ethan Bain and now Kayn, the mightiest of them all. I came to the XWA because the claim was that the best of the nest resided here, and thus far I have no reason to disagree. Great wrestlers enter the XWA's ring and now it cannot be denied by any man that Magnus Von Schwartz is one of them.
Fab: So, what now? What's your plan for tonight?
To carry on the tradition of this title. At one point, I thought Pure Rules to be some form of niche in this company like say...the Diamond Division. It took one match for me to be convinced that this is more than just a sub-division, but a sophisticated system through which the best strategy prevails. It's truly a thinking man's game...none of the punch hurling or high flying, you wrestle your best to prevail, and right now I look for a challenger who is prepared to do just that.
This title has been forged on two eras as it is that I have researched. The Cade era, through which one man firmly established that this title was one of the utmost in importance, and the Kayn era, where it was established that you must be on as they say your "A-game" to call yourself a champion. That man at TakeDown who was on his "A-game" was me, and it will continue tonight.
Tonight, the Magnus era begins. My reign shall not be broken, but someone else will be. It is only a matter of whom that is.
As Magnus finishes his statement, someone suddenly appears in the scene to take up his offer...
