Ohh...The Time Is Now (Primo)

The show went on and the fans were all seated anticipating what was going to happen next. Suddenly through the speaker system, “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” begins to play throughout the arena. With the fans knowing who was going to come out, they rose to their feet and broke out in a cheer. The man known to everyone as “The RD Factor” Romeo Davis pushed aside the black curtain and made his well awaited appearance onstage. He had a smirk on his face as he taunted for the fans as he stood there onstage. He then began to walk down the ramp toward the ring. He enters the ring via the steel steps and makes his way to the corner where he is handed a microphone by one of the ringside staff members. He nods his head to the music and also because he is in a very good mood. The music then faded out as Romeo lifted the microphone to his lips. It was time for him to speak.

Oh yeahh! I have to tell y’all that I am in a good mood right now. Last week at Takedown I was set with a big challenge. That challenge was to beat Finesse. Man I gotta tell ya that Finesse ain’t no joke. That man knows what he’s doing in the ring. I mean he’s only got one singles loss and that’s to me but hey that’s not the point here. The point is that we had a great match and I came up with the victory in the end. I knew that if I wanted another shot at Primo I had to win the match last week. Finesse, thanks for a great match and I’ll be pleased to enter the ring with ya again someday. Now onto the real business.

Romeo lowers the microphone for a moment. He then lifts it back up to his lips.

Primo. Man I have been waiting for this time for a while. Last week ya came down to the ring and told me that I have to beat Finesse in a singles match so that I could get another shot at ya. Well guess what I did bro? I did what ya thought I wasn’t gonna be able to do. I did the unthinkable by defeating Finesse. Now as ya said, I get another shot at ya. Hell yeah bro. It’s gonna be Primo and Romeo round two. I know the fans love the sound of that. *The crowd erupts.* Yeah, yeah. This time around it’s not gonna be that easy. No man, I’m not looking to mess around this time. It’s time to end this bro. We’ve been going at it for a long time my man and it’s time we end this in a big way. So Primo, why don’t ya come out hear so we can get this match set and in the books for tonight.

Romeo lowers the microphone down to his side. He was defiantly ready for the match in which he was going to embark in. His eyes shifted from the fans over to fans as he anxiously waited for Primo’s theme music to be played.

With no music accompanying him, Primo steps out from backstage. It could be seen plain as day on his face that he was none to pleased. With a mic of his own, he stands at the set and responds.

It would seem that fate is quite kind to you, Mr. Davis. Here you stand with an opportunity to atone for the lose I gave you two months ago. Poised and ready for battle, with the fans cheering you on. It's so touching. So inspiring. So...sickening. It makes me wretch in fact.

The fans boo. Primo scowls and continues.

These peons cheer you on, filling you with fall hope. Goading you into believing you have even a shred of a chance of beating me. But if theirs one thing I know, it's that adoration can only get you so far. You've been quite lucky this year. A fairly impressive rookie outing if I must say so myself. But tonight, in that ring...your luck runs out. I put an end to this, and put you in your place. There is a gap between our skill in that ring as large as the gap between Las Vegas and Japan. I put that gap of skill on display for all to see. And hopefully it will serve as a learning experience for you. And the lesson is why it's not smart to challenge those you don't, and never will match up against.

Primo lowers his mic and waits for the rebuttal.

After listening to what Primo had to say to him, Romeo brought the microphone which sat in his right hand back up to his lips.

No Primo, fate hasn’t been kind to me. No bro, I worked hard to get another opportunity to wrestle you in a match tonight. You were a very smart man for making the decision of Finesse taking me on but I was able to get the best of him and now I will stand toe to toe with ya tonight. You think that this is all luck but you got another thing coming if you think I made my way through here by luck. You say that tonight my luck shall run short? Ha, Primo I’m just getting started man. I’m ready for tonight bro. Like I said before it’s time for us to end this and the ending won’t be like the last time we met in the ring. So later on we shall see the gap between the skills of the both of us. You talk a big game and now it’s time to show me up again. You are the one favored to win the match, but I think the underdog will win this one. It’s like when the Giants beat the Pats. You neva know when someone is gonna beat ya. You gotta show up with everything ya got. So since I got to choose the match type last time we danced, now it’s your turn bro. Go ahead Primo choose a match type for the two of us to wrestle in for these fans tonight. Anything ya want we’ll do it.

Romeo lowered the microphone. It may not have been the greatest idea to let Primo choose the match type, but Romeo would be ready for anything thrown at him.

Primo raises his mic once again and answers the call of Davis.

There goes that overconfidence we know so well. Your greatest strength as well as your most debilitating weakness. But who am I to deny a fool his wish? The match I choose is one I haven't wrestled in some time. In fact, the last time I partook in this match was about a year ago. A match that I have aptitude in more then most. And it will be the match I seal your fate in, Mr. Davis.



A FIRST BLOOD MATCH.

Buzz: First Blood!!! Things just got bleak for Romeo. I don't know if that was a smart idea on his part, Roach.

Roach: Primo was XWA's 1st King Of Crimson Champion in 2007. A title he held a vice grip on for over 7 months. If there's one match you KNOW he's game in, it's 1st blood.

And so Mr. Davis, your story will be told in this ring tonight, as the latest man in a list of many to have their blood on my hands.

Primo lowers his mic in wait of Romeo's response.

A first blood match was what it was going to be. This match was defiantly going to be intense. Romeo nodded his head before lifting his microphone and responding to Primo.

A first blood match huh? Aight I see where this is going. Very smart choice by you there Primo. When the stipulation of the match is that one person must draw blood from their opponent, you are one of the greats. I know what you can do man. I heard and read ‘bout how dominate you were last year with the King of Crimson championship. A very smart choice indeed for this first blood match. I have to give you props for choosing this style of match choice. I do have to say that this match will defiantly be intense and will go down to who wants it more. Is it gonna be Primo to make me bleed or is it gonna be me to make Primo bleed once again. Oh I know you remember that time very well Primo during the tag team match. I most certainly do remember that match but like I always say we can’t live in the past, it’s time to look to the future and that begins tonight. Tonight you and I will step into this ring and beat the living hell outta each other till one of us begins to bleed. Tonight you want my name to be added to that list but there is no way I’m gonna let that happen. You may call it overconfidence but I call it just straight confidence in myself. I believe that hard work will pay off in the end. Primo, you better bring your all tonight because I most defiantly will be bringing mine. Oh man I can’t wait for this to go down.

Romeo then lowers his microphone waiting for the final response from Primo.
