Luck Or Skill? (O2A)

*As XWA TakeDown returns from a commercial break the crowd is talking about what has just happend previously but then after a few moments "Impossible" by Manafest plays throughout the arena as Mark Reckless steps onto the stage already dressed to compete*

*The crowd gives Mark a somewhat light cheer as they still not completely sure what to make of this new commer, Mark takes in the cheers as he smiles while he makes his way to the ring, he walks down the ramp and at the same time bopping his head to the beat of his theme music showing off some of his laid back attitude, he walks up the ring steps and then enters the ring through the top and middle rope*

*Mark receives a microphone by one of the XWA stagehands, he then starts to pace around the ring with the smile still plastered on his face, after a few moments he positions the microphone under his mouth so he can speak*

"What is up Las Vegas!"

*Mark receives a cheap pop from the crowd*

"Last week you all saw me compete in my first match here in XWA and it was against none other than our "Fitness Guru" Emil Edwards."

*The crowd boos at the mention of Emil's name*

"Now, now, now. Lets not hasty, even though his buisness skills are.....weird to say the very least but believe it or not there IS something to those products of his. I mean that dude was hard to keep down, I had to pull out ALL the stops on him. In that match I had to establish my speed as well use some of my more faster moves, and when all that seemed to not go my way I had to use quick thinking and when I saw an opportunity I took it."

*Mark starts to pace around the ring getting a little eager to get something going*

"I can honestly say that was one hard fought victory but there are some non-believers out there that say that I won that match with luck other than anything else. So I'm gonna prove them wrong by comming out here and issue an open challenge for the SECOND time to anyone in the back."

*The crowd cheers Mark Reckless for his second open challenge proposal*

"I am willing to throw myself to the wolfs just so I can prove that I can come out on top. And why you ask? Because THAT is what I do."

*The crowd continues to cheer Mark Reckless on as he takes it all in getting himself more hyper*

*Mark starts to play to the crowd while he waits for a reply*

[King]

With that the room went dark and moment of silence then a gong started to play through the PA, as the lights turn light blue and fogs of smoke filled the arena. Moments later King walk out from the entrance curtain, the fans begin to cheer on his return victory over Ryan and his return to XWA.

Buzz: Not him again.

Roach: Well King was victorious with his victory with the returning Ryan Blaze. I think King's out here to accept Mark's Challenge.

King slowly made his way towards the ring. Once there he simply stood and just stare down Mark, waits for him to respond

*Mark studies what seems to be his new opponent, the crowd waits in antcipation as Mark looks King up and down while trying to think of what to say, after a few more moments of observing King Mark gets a sudden look on his face like he just realized something*

"Hey. I know you. You're King, right?"

*King seems emotionless as he remains stone still*

"Well I'm Mark Reckless and if the vibes I'm getting are right you must be out here to take my challenge."

*Mark pauses so King could speak but he doesn't, Mark then looks confused as he continues*

"I gotta be honest, I really wasen't expecting you. I know that's has to be as obvious as it gets considering this an 'Open challenge' and anybody could step up but there was NO way I could see this comming, but you're out here already so it's cool."

*Mark pauses once again to allow King to speak but once more King remains unresponsive, this makes Mark a little jumbled but he manages to resume talking*

"I've heard a few stories about you, and from what I heard...you're one twisted dude and not many can pull of the 'Sick, tortured soul' gig but you got it going on man."

*Mark gives another attempt at stopping his speech so King could get a word in but King remains still as a statue, this gets to Mark as he decides to confront him on the matter*

"Do you have anything to say...you know...like...at all?"

*Mark lowers his microphone so King could speak*

[King]

King still standing statue like not saying or expressing any sort of emotion.

Roach: Well i don't think your gonna get any answer from King Mark, but from seeing King for the past year i think all he wants is to accept the challenge.

Buzz: Well why don't you go up to him and tell him that.

King then approaches Mark, Mark steps back a bit in case King might attack him unexpectedly. King then looks down at Mark's hand he then grabs Mark's right wrist where he was holding the Mic. King position Mark's hand near his mouth, King then only said three letters.

TLC

King then let go of Mark's wrist and back up a bit.

*Mark takes a concerned look at his right wrist where King had grabed him before looking up to the man himself looking all the more worried, Mark tries not to let it show as he cracks a small smile as he raises his microphone back to his mouth*

"Aww, thats so nice of you to ask, I knew that there is a good guy in there somewhere. Yes, my parents gave me lots of tender, love and care, more than I needed actually, they was like suffocating me man. You probably know what that feels like...but then again...under more consideration...maybe you don't."

*Mark lets out a light laugh for a few seconds before noticing that King looks anything but amused which makes Mark's friendly laughter turn into nervous snickers then realizing that his joke only made him look foolish, Mark then takes a deep breath before speaking again*

"...Anywho, so TLC huh? Yeah I know, tables, ladders and chairs. I never been in a TLC match before, but don't you think that that's a little too much? I mean dang, I just got here dude."

*Mark already knew that King couldn't care less as he continues*

"Well I guess the saying is true, 'There is a first time for everything'. So okay, I'm down, me and you in a TLC match, cool."

*The crowd cheers the possible TLC match as Mark takes his final pause seeing if King has any last words of his own*

(OOC: I already read the new rules about match stipulations but I stayed in character and just replied to what was said.)

[King]

King just stares that Mark like his some sort of species he never seen, he then points at Mark then gesture hand to cutting his throat.

Buzz: Like Mark said why does King have to put him in a match where you won't be walking for days? Why can't King just accept a good clean singles match?

Roach: I think King is actually testing Mark out, trying to find out how far he will go for this company.

Buzz: When did you suddenly become a translator for King

King then bowed his down, moment later the lights went out and a lighting stroke to the ring where King was. Then from nowhere another four more lighting stroke on each turnbuckles which lit them on fire. The light came back up and King was nowhere to be seen just a burnt mark on the floor where King was standing. A familiar voice echoed through the PA.
